Walked into restaurant about 8.50pm and asked if they had a table for two. He looked unsure but seated us in a not busy restaurant with lots of seats. We were given menus and some iced water It was then almost 30 mins until we finally managed to catch someone's eye to take our order. There was what seemed to be a manager and 2 staff working who managed to skillfully avoid even looking our way. We were SO close to just getting up and walking out. Just after we managed to order another table arrived and were seated and served immediately. The food was great as was the bottle of wine but the whole evening (our wedding anniversary) was a little spoiled by being ignored. Just to add the waitress who looked after us as if we finished our food was lovely.

The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, there were no ‘do not disturb’ signs and the room service menu only applied during the day (I assume), when we tried to order food at night they were only taking orders off the bar bites menu but there wasn’t a menu like that in the room so it was a lot of guess work, thankfully the TAP staff were helpful and did not disappoint with the food! Aside from the lovely staff member we met on check out day, the staff on the desk during check in looked uninterested and were too busy talking to each other before noticing that we needed assistance, to which they couldn’t help and didn’t have any meaningful explanation for why things were missing from our room.

Very cold, Swimming Pool Only four lounges plus about 10 School room chairs around the pool The opposite of luxurious Steam room was not I went into the sauna to try and warm up after the freezing pool. I had wanted to read my book by the pool, but just felt Jarred and cold by the whole experience Plus, no explanation about how to use the TV remote and simply could not watch anything I wanted to see for three days in the hotel which was very frustrating

Offering full pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi at time of booking. Jacuzzi & steam room out of order 48hrs before booking could be cancelled leaving no time to book similar requirements venue and no offer of reduced rate or and food/bar vouchers. Male Pool changing rooms especially lockers and showers are way below par - in need of significant spend and upgrade. Very poor.

Staff on front desk lovely, staff for breakfast really accommodating to my fiance GF, bar staff on first night spot on, bar staff 2nd day/night and before leaving utterly useless, unable to take a simple order in English, badly poured pints of Guinness (really really bad). Not a four star hotel anymore rooms are dated, mould on windows, mould in bathrooms, shower can't keep level of heat while in it, spa needs some tlc, half the facilities not working upon our arrival...........not a four star, pictures on website are great, realistically.....quite crap

Lack of choice on room service

Lovely hotel, very clean, delicious food, reception and breakfast staff friendly and polite.

The staff in the restaurant Saturday evening were very lax with their approach to customer service. Seated next to the bar quickly, drinks order taken quickly but that's where it ends. The drinks were not brought to us for a very long time, they only realised we didn't have drinks when we had a look of confusion that other people were served before us. Our food order was taken shortly after and took a long while to arrive. The staff looked to be more concerned with enjoying their shift rather than focus on customer service. The shower was rather disappointing with the extreme lack of pressure.

Communication with the hotel before our stay was the best I’ve ever had. The interconnecting rooms were amazing and made our stay with children seem very luxurious! The hotel felt quite upmarket and competitively priced for what we got. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming.

The shower was a bit tired as was the pool area. The mattress was very hard but everyone else didn’t mind. Dinner service was very slow. But the food was good. We were disappointed that we didn’t book breakfast as the price was very high on the day and we ate elsewhere.

Spacious bedroom and very clean and comfortable mattress, and good facilities. Lovely range of beverages and treats in the bedroom, and its great to have a minu fridge, iron and ironing board. Ample mirrors in the bedroom. Convenient parking and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is good in terms of cereals, cooked breakfast etc...but the croissants and pain au chocolate were not great.

Breakfast was good and the staff were really helpful. I paid 450£ for 2 nights as I was going to an event close by. I picked this hotel because of the amenities. The steam room was out of order as was the jacuzzi. The swimming pool was freezing and the beds were so hard I have hurt my back!! If I had been made aware of the jacuzzi I would have found somewhere else

Dead Center of the City right next to Piccadilly Station, Parking inside Hotel is essential, since there is no Parking outside whatsoever, was charged 18pound o/n but any violation would cost 60quid, so that's a bargain Breakfast offered all options including fired or poached eggs,

Particularly helpful staff - we were delayed arriving due to being stuck in traffic leaving Leeds festival. I rang and spoke to the reception team at 11.30pm and on arrival we could park in the underground car park and were met with welcoming staff at 1.30am.

It was great - loved it.

Perfect for exploring the city. Only 10 min walk to the train station. Rooms had ample space and storage. Nice and clean. The breakfast was lovely. There was alot to choose from. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and spacious with two queen size beds so my daughter didn’t have to sleep in a sofa bed which was a bonus. Location is a little further from town than would be ideal but the hotel has a pool which was worth the extra steps.

If you book a sofabed room for three people (Inc a 13 year old) then tea and coffee facilities should be provided for three people. Additionally, extra pillows should be provided rather than simply take one from the double bed.

A year on and three stays later in the same hotel with the other half, and it is becoming one of those hotels I would detest staying at and have now told my other half, that if we stayed here again, I would seriously consider divorce. The first time around there were used diapers around the pool and if my partner didn’t highlight it, it wouldn’t have been picked up. This time around, diapers in the changing room. What makes it worse is that two out of the three times I stayed here, had peculiar smells in the rooms which apparently is a thing according to other reviews. The stench is so bad, that even after complaining and moving, it seemingly have soaked into our jackets that my partner had to hand wash them twice! What made it worse is that the customer service was simply abysmal. From having to collect your room service food ordered, to staff that have the resting “b-face” that come up with snarky remarks. But those are selective. If you are in the “in club” you seem to be treated nicely, even provided a room upgrade, but if you are in the “out club” your status won’t count at all and your status upgrade seems to be a corner room with a “nice” view. Look at the bad reviews first rather than the good. Those who are in the “in club” are actively reviewing the hotel as amazing even though it isn’t. Those are the ones that get the better room. Not you.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk to the city centre. Very nice room with a super comfy bed and a good choice of pillows. Excellent breakfast with a good range of options and all the staff were really helpful and friendly. Will definitely rebook.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The lobby is lovely but the rooms are dated. The bathrooms need upgrading, they clearly haven’t been done in a while. The cleanliness of our room was also disappointing. There were stains on the headboard, on the doors and there were broken fixtures. Our bed was also incredibly hard. When housekeeping ‘refreshed’ our room I’m not sure what they did other than put a couple of new towels in the bathroom and leave the used ones on the floor. I am disappointed I expected a 4* experience and it did not live up to this.

We loved the leisure facilities and breakfast was great. Location was perfect for what we needed too. Parking onsite made it much easier and easy access to a range of restaurants in walking distance.

Missing light over the tea facilities and missing reading light made the room feel dingy and dark. Reported to manager but didn't seem to come as a surprise and then later in the evening the bath plug got stuck and toilet blocked. Manager then gave us access to room opposite so we could use the bathroom there. The room was the mirror image of the one were in so not sure why we didn't get moved altogether and that room had all it's lights in functioning order. Overall disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Not sure we'll stay there again.

It was absolutely stunning, the rooms was amazing! I got the celebration package for my best friends 40th and it was so good! Balloons, prosecco, a card, chocolates and they even made love hearts with the towels!! Food was amazing, staff was just unreal! We didn’t get the name of the man on reception, he was young, tall, very very funny, and very helpful! He was amazing!!! Even helped us keep the package a surprise!

Myself and my husband stayed here last night and we honestly had such a lovely hotel stay. All the staff we met were so attentive and one particular staff member even went to the effort of making me a cocktail that wasn’t officially on the menu! Alicia checked us in and she was so friendly. Special mention to Nikki for organising such a lovely stay for us and all the little touches! My husband said the breakfast was ‘the best hotel breakfast he’s ever had’ the options were great and there was definitely something for everyone! We will most definitely stay again and even though it’s set just a little bit out of the city centre we really enjoyed the quietness but then how easily accessible the hotel was to the hustle and bustle of Leeds. Thanks so much everyone!

A beautiful hotel with great facilities and wonderful staff. Over the last few weeks I have stayed at the hotel several times. It is my home from home and a place to chill and enjoy after stressful family illness times. As always a massive thank you to lovely Yasser for always looking after me when I visit. Absolutely stunning hotel! Very nice rooms with more space than I expected. Great facilities like their lovely bar, pool and steam room. The staff were amazing and very friendly especially Alicia who gave us a lovely welcoming check in 😌, always makes a trip more enjoyable when the staff are this nice.
