Very central and convenient

1.5 days they couldn’t pür bottle of waters in the room and the lobby. I have asked the reason, the answer was about sourcing problem.

We couldn't get our room cold enough for comfortable sleeping, some of the front desk staff weren't very friendly, though most were.

Great location!

Bed was too soft, very loud in room AC unit, and the photos for rooms with a patio were misleading.

The staff

The AC was too laud and I had to turn it off at night to sleep. The WiFi was also too slow.

The beds were pretty comfortable and the area is good for walking around.

I paid extra for a patio and it was a glorified alleyway, do NOT believe the pictures and pay extra.

Location in Pasadena was good and convenient

Parking fee of 36 dollars . You can go one block down and park for 15 . Poorly cleaned . There were stains on the pillows from previous guests. Some days room service never attended the room

The lobby was nice and parking structure easy to access.

The room we were in didn’t have proper working restroom lighting and the trash cans did not have trash bags in them i don’t know if that’s new policy. Kind of felt like they didn’t finish cleaning the room. The bench by the bed was dirty with dark brown stains on it, there was water stains on the little table in the room, the bed had what seemed like dog hair in it which made me almost get pink eye when I woke up in the morning, It didn’t feel clean or worth the 300+$ I spent for the night.

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en enthousiast en staat voor je klaar. Vooral Alex buiten bij de ontvangst. Hij kwam met hulp, advies en tips wanneer we iets wilden weten of ondernemen in de omgeving En op de kamer heerlijke theesoorten en Starbucks koffie die steeds weer aangevuld wordt. Zwembad is ook heerlijk met die warmte.

De matrassen waren doorgezakt, klein balkonnetje en het was vrij gehorig maar al met al wel een goed verblijf gehad. Bij het zwembad waren lounge bedden gereserveerd terwijl alles verder bezet was maar die mensen kwamen pas einde van de middag. Zou een tijdslimiet opgegeven kunnen worden.

My room was facing the general AC system so a bit of continuous noise at night. But I sleep with ear plugs so this went fine.

Location was great and hotel decorations looked nice

Carper is starting to be dirty and to smell . I think charging 35 dollar for parking is not correct I think is taking advantage and forcing basically everyone to pay.

Hotel was nice.

They didn’t specify the parking you have to pay for every night $36 the agent at the front desk stated it was a one time fee and it would come out of $100 deposit instead they took $72 for our stay. This is seriously a scam why are you being charged to pay when you are paid/book your stay. There’s no fans in bathroom nor microwave.

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff

The location was definitely the biggest advantage of this hotel. It was very walkable to Old Pasadena, Lake Avenue, and the convention center, which made our seven-night stay very convenient. The price was also reasonable compared to other Pasadena hotels during Memorial Day weekend. Housekeeping was responsive with bottled water requests, and we enjoyed some of the quirky vintage decor and movie memorabilia throughout the property. My spouse especially liked the classic Rolls Royce displayed outside.

The hotel feels somewhat dated and could benefit from renovation. Our room had a slight musty odor during the stay, and the pillows provided very little support. The mattress was also too soft for one of us. Breakfast service was inconsistent depending on the staff member working. Our room overlooked nearby apartments across a narrow driveway, so we did not feel very comfortable opening the windows fully for fresh air.

Hervorragend gelegenes Hotel, nur 15 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt von Pasadena entfernt. Sehr freundliches Team an der Rezeption und im Lyric Restaurant. Der Pool ist klein aber einladend und es gibt ein paar kostenlose Liegen sowie reservierungspflichtige Daybeds. Es gibt ein riesiges (gebührenpflichtiges)Parkhaus, mit direktem Anschluss an das Hotel, so dass die lästige Parkplatzsuche entfällt.

In den vier Tagen, die ich im Hotel verbracht habe, wurde das Zimmer nur einmal gereinigt und das Bett gemacht. Mein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss war etwas dunkel und der zugehörige Patio war nicht sehr einladend - da ist ein Zimmer mit Balkon vermutlich die bessere Wahl.

Pool closed when I arrived at 3pm Wednesday, so we had to walk to the Hilton hotel to use pool facility

Overall the stay was not impressive in a positive way. Booked a double queen suit and had a nice view of the roof. Television was not working during the Final Four tournament. The restaurant bar portions are incredibly skimpy. Do not expect a response if you are asking for an early or late check-in or out. Shared 3 $36. night parking with the convention center.

The room was very clean and attractive. Location was perfect for a work meeting I was attending in Pasadena. The hotel was lovely and the young lady who checked me in was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

I guess everyone loves soft beds but me, that was the only thing I really didn't like. I like a medium/firm bed and the bed was so soft my back was killing me the next day. Well, I also would have liked to turn on the bathroom light, as a night light, but it was on a timer. So, I didn't like that but I found a work around.

There was trash up and down the halls. It was hot and no water was in the room. And water in their store was outrageously priced. It was loud both early in the morning and late at night and guests were loud in the hallways. Chemical air fresheners were used in the lobby.

Great location, a short walk to the Main Street in Pasadena. Comfortable beds, roomy rooms, nice big TV’s.

AC units were loud! I was worried I’d sleep through my alarm because the ac drowning out the noise. There was makeup buildup on the hair dryer. Gross! My phone only worked on speaker phone.

The AC was not working when we first arrived. They sent someone to fix it. However, we discovered the next day that the light around the mirror and the outlets in the bathroom were not working. When we went to check out, I told the front desk and no discount, etc. was offered for our inconvenience.

Nice with a restaurant/bar and a little market is so convenient.

There is a weird crack in the ceiling and the bathroom sink was leaking.

Не понравился что в номере была дверь в соседний смежный номер, была очень сильная слышимость… в соседнем номере всю ночь громко разговаривали ( Утром в 9.00 начал стучать хаускипинг((( Вообщем перед долгой дорогой выспаться не удалось ( Просите номер без смежного соседства !!!! Прикреплю фото.

The smell in the hallway was really bad.

Comfortable room, clean, cool vibe

music playing on hotel speakers kept me from napping while I was not feeling well. I talked to the front desk about this and they turned it down.

I liked the style of the room, although the stairs were a little creaky. I did like the fact that the room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable.

I did not like the fact that they charged for overnight parking which was $36. I don’t remember seeing that anywhere when I made the reservations. That was very disappointing.

Trash in hallways. Chemical perfumes diffused throughout the property (bad smells). No water - had to buy $9 water on hot day of arrival. Huge parking fee not disclosed ahead of time. Tiny room.

Toegankelijkheid met openbaar vervoer en omgeving. Hotel lag op loopafstand van bus en metro en winkels. (+7 minuten lopen). Kamer was netjes maar redelijk klein.

Dat er honden toegelaten werden in hotel en hotelkamers. In verband met allergie voor hondenhaar vond ik dat minder prettig. Ik had dat graag van te voren willen weten dan had ik ander hotel gekozen. De kosten voor ontbijt en voor de GrabenGo winkel waren niet in verhouding tot de producten. Ontbijt viel tegen en winkel was 4x zo duur dan in normale supermarkt.

It was right next to the train stop, so that was really convenient. Store and gas station about a block away.

I cannot remember if there was extra parking somewhere else, but within the main area, there wasn’t much parking.

Friendly staff and great food!

While the room was pleasant, poor customer service and billing problems made this stay disappointing.

My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for my birthday weekend. The room itself was lovely, and our stay inside the hotel was pleasant. Unfortunately, the parking and billing experience significantly impacted our overall impression. Upon check-in, I clearly explained to both the parking attendant and front desk staff that we would only be parked briefly (approximately 15 minutes) to drop off our bags and would not be parking overnight. I was assured multiple times—by different staff members at check-in and check-out—that I would not be charged for parking. Despite these assurances, I later received a receipt showing a $60 self-parking charge. Resolving this issue took over three weeks, multiple phone calls, inconsistent explanations, unanswered transfers to the finance department, and repeated requests for bank documentation. I was ultimately refunded only after escalating the issue further, and to this day, a remaining $40 from the original hold never reflected in my account. While the room itself was enjoyable, the customer service and financial handling were extremely disappointing. Due to this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
