Very nice and helpful staff who were happy to give us fresh bottles of drinking water. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet on 11th floor.

Privacy shade on window was missing, only had blackout shade. Bathroom sink water pressure is terrible, just a trickle. The thermostat didn't seem to cool the room even one degree, but we kept the fan setting on "high" which helped. Also someone in another room was vaping which we could smell through our ventilator. The furnishings are old, scratched up, and have definitely seen better days.

Hated the self parking. So far from elevator. Accommodations for pets is zero. No where to take them out. I asked for first floor and didn’t get it. Parking overpriced—gouging.

We stayed at the Westin in Pasadena as I have stayed many times previously. The staff are always attentive polite and ready to assist. Reginald is an exceptional member of your team. He is always very friendly, he remembers my name, always looking for ways to make the stay better. Regional is a true asset to the Westin team. I look forward to returning. Great bar service! We are on a short business trip and stopped in for some drink before the end of the day. Brittney was awesome at the bar and made sure we had our drinks full at all times! We will definitely be back to enjoy the bar.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Westin. This is our fourth stay and is the only place we stay at when in Pasadena. The hotel is centrally located next to the historic City Hall and all of the shops and restaurants. All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Special kudos to Guille in the hotel restaurant who made our final brunch extra special!

I like how kind the employees were , they upgraded us for a suite for my wedding night. I appreciate that so much.

I was in the area and my buddy told me good things about the restaurant at this hotel. So I went to the front desk and Vili escorted me to I eat at the Ventanas and introduced me to Norman. He sat me down and gave me some recommendations of their best lunch options. I chose the chicken avocado club and it was delicious! I was so impressed by the service, staff, and quality of food! I will definitely be going back and will probably book a night or two at the hotel just to relax as the atmosphere was really inviting. I have already invited my friends to go back and experience it with me!

I had a fantastic experience at the West in Pasadena. As I walked the hallways on my way to the workout room or on my way to the restaurant, I was greeted by staff pleasantly. Everyone was very helpful and cooperative and attentive to my needs. The restaurant staff were exceptional and very willing to cater to the needs of the guests. I was just simply impressed by the helpful, calm, and happy disposition of everybody here. It's an excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Pasadena. Beautiful area and within walking distance to a lot of great coffee shops and local attractions. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again for sure!

My stay at The Westin Pasadena was quite enjoyable from start to end and even beyond. For starters, I arrived at check-in to find out I had booked the wrong dates. Mya and Carlos were so understanding and accommodating to still find a lovely room across the hall from my travel companion. Next, Sergio at The Ventanas Restaurant and Bar was so kind and helpful with my order for my team and even packaged everything so that I could get it up to my room. Speaking of rooms, my room was beautiful. The room was spacious, the temperature was perfect, there was ample lighting, the blackout shade definitely did its job, and there was a nice sized mini fridge to store my food. Nathan who worked the front desk overnight was so patient and kind with my many requests at 2am. After my departure, Vilinkumar, the Director of Front Desk, sent a very heartfelt message thanking me for my visit. That’s classic customer service that’s rare these days. I mentioned a minor inconvenience I had during my stay, and he immediately addressed it with a wonderful accommodation. The Westin Pasadena totally gets it. They know how to treat their guests… like they’re welcomed, valued, and appreciated. I will definitely return to The Westin Pasadena. They’ve gained a lifelong guest.

I recently attended a meeting/conference at The Westin Pasadena. The entire team was warm, welcoming and beyond professional. I cannot say enough about the quality of the food and beverage throughout our meeting - it exceeds the level of most hotel brands that reside in the extreme luxury category. It was that impressive! The outdoor space was stunning with soothing fountains and beautiful scenery.

It was my first time visiting this hotel in Pasadena, CA. The hotel was very clean and nice. The rooms were big and mattresses firm. As my travels take me to Pasadena, I will be sure to always stay here.

First room was a smoking room. Staff moved us easily. They failed to mention the pool was closed upon check in. We showed up with our suits on to find no pool and no one working on the pool. The bathroom has the worst lighting. The bed was uncomfortable. The rooms are very small. My husband made a purchase in their convenience store that was moldy. Two bath towels in the room. We had to shower and go out the night of check in and call for more towels for the next day. Definitely not a luxury hotel and $$&&& for a poor stay

I have highest status with marriott, got a room that said special suite, Poor room lighting, toilet paper was placed at the same height as my knee when I sit on the toilet seat, front desk guys said there is water in the room, but when I reached the room, there were only 2 small bottles , no executive lounge, food very very expensive, technically they were right but there is no hospitality in their offering. Never again.

The location is great and makes all things Pasadena very accessible. Staff consistently friendly (front desk, restaurant, valet) all around.

Wow, so this once very nice hotel is TIRED. The public areas seemed up to par, but the room was tired and not well - equipped. Furniture all nicked and scratched. Shower/fixtures not great. Closet door that would not stay open on its own and would slide closed on your hand when retrieving or putting up clothes -- seems minor, but is very annoying. NO FULL LENGTH MIRROR -- really??

While my stay wasn't as good as it could have been, the follow-up from Vilinkumar Bhakta, the front office manager, upped the rating from 3 to 4 stars. There were several and specific issues that I brought to his attention, which I summarized: "I recommended the room or floor needed a wholesale refresh as it just felt...tired". Turns out it was one of the older rooms and I was assured it wasn't representative of them all. But more importantly, it's the way the V handled things that I most appreciate. True customer service is tough to find these days, but he did a great job.

The rates are low because the pool is closed. They make up their profit with fees: $9 bottles of water in the room, a $29 burger delivered to the room ended up costing $60 after fees costs and tip. This did not include a drink. Parking is $30/day. If you’re traveling for work, or any other reason, go elsewhere.

The highlight of the Westin Pasadena is the exceptionally comfortable beds. Ultimate level of coziness! The second wonderful feature is location--convenience is all there with walkable cafes and shopping. It's luxurious-feeling for the price. Everything was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. One last note on the rooms: love the waterfall showerhead.

The property is very lovely and is in a good location. One can walk to restaurants and nice shops within 10-15 minutes. The property has been renovated and is currently undergoing a pool renovation. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and the service was speedy and the good was good. It's a good place to stay when in Pasadena.

We reserved Westin Pasadina through Expedia. I like eating breakfast at the hotel so I do not have to worry and think of other options and can start my day right away. So I specifically looked for the hotels with breakfast included. I know I can always find something to eat and move on with my day. On the booking page ( I had a picture to show the hotel) it clearly stated breakfast included. They wanted to charge us for the breakfast $60 for two. Never mind that our breakfast was not so complicated that it was worth $60 definately overcharge and it was not even a regular continental breakfast but order by the plate. I had an omlet with potatotes( half were not cooked through) a toast and tiny jar of jam. It tasted just like regular continental at any chain hotel and my husband had a plate of salmon with a bagel. In the end I got a charged a little over $10 and that is because I complained. Then I went to the front desk. It was honestly not about $10 I felt that the reservation said breakfast included then it should be included. If that option would not be available then I would have reserved another hotel. I had an argument with a front desk and in the end they promised to dismiss the charges all together. I was told that even their high end clients get a credit of only $30. Then I told them talk to expedia and remove breakfast included option. So if you decide to stay there do not buy breakfast option . And do not eat at the over priced restaurant at Westin. It is not far from many restaurants in town and there you will find better options, including going to Wholefoods and getting things there. Then to the room. It was clean and your regular room but on the smaller side so nothing special good enough to come to sleep and leave. We had only one might so we did not care much. The bed was not all that comfortable. The mattress was a bit hard for me. If you like a hard mattress then you will be fine. If you are looking for something more comfortable this ain't it. I woke up a few time during the night from pain and had to move. Until in the morning I took extra pillows and layed them as a topper and fell asleep better . finally. Or you could aks for another cover and used the one you had as a topper. Would I go there again - not sure at all The room and the hotel I would rate as a three star but because of breakfast dishonesty I rated as 2 stars

The hotel really spoilt us and we’re so extremely grateful. Had been traveling through the States and this was towards the end of our trip. It was also my hubby’s significant birthday and they upgraded our room and gave a few birthday surprises. So kind! Great location. Beautiful hotel, comfy beds, excellent staff at reception. Hotel has an elegant vibe and great view over city hall. We loved Pasadena.

Included breakfast a little odd, you simply get a credit towards the Al a carte menu. We mistakenly thought breakfast would be a buffet.

This is just a great location in Pasadena. They have a fun wine Wednesday out on their courtyard. Great food and great music. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff for making a memorable stay for me.

I paid an additional $30 at checking for breakfast and it was not honored by the restaurant breakfast were scandalously over priced and the staff at the restaurant and the desk were not friendly.

He was incredibly professional, empathetic, and efficient. Roman went above and beyond to address our concerns, personally ensuring we were moved to a much better room with a balcony and arranging a lovely birthday amenity for my wife. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly exceptional. He didn't just fix the problems; he turned a negative experience into a memorable and positive one. The front desk experience was very straightforward and easy and everybody was very friendly, especially Nathan. Nathan also took our luggage up to our room and was very helpful with information about the hotel.

I booked this hotel on a total whim during a brutal midweek heatwave, just needing a comfortable place to work, unwind, and get a solid night’s sleep—and it turned into an exceptional experience, largely because of the incredible people here. From the moment I walked in, Reggie and My made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. This wasn’t just polite customer service—it was thoughtful, attentive, above-and-beyond hospitality that you don’t come across often. They checked in (without being intrusive), made sure I had everything I needed to stay productive and comfortable, and created an atmosphere that felt both professional and personal. It truly felt like they were invested in making my stay great, not just doing their jobs. Even the maintenance crew deserves recognition—their friendliness and responsiveness didn’t go unnoticed. Every interaction, no matter how small, reflected a team that takes pride in what they do and in how they treat their guests. There was construction happening due to renovations, but I experienced zero disruptions, which honestly speaks volumes about how well everything is managed behind the scenes. The only downside was not being able to use the pool, but even that couldn’t take away from how recharging the stay was. But after a long workday in a clean, peaceful place and being able to unwind with a glass of wine was just as refreshing. I can’t thank the team enough for turning a last-minute booking into such a memorable and comfortable stay. The service here is what truly sets this place apart. This is my 3rd time staying at the Westin Pasadena hotel, and every time, it has been a pleasure. The check in process is smooth, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The conference has always been well organized and the food provided by the hotel is delicious. Also, as a platinum member, you get a complimentary breakfast (which I never used b/c I already had breakfast provided), and the hotel pretty consistently provided a room upgrade. Once, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite that had an extensive balcony overlooking the mountains. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location in Pasadena and I would highly recommend it. My only negative comment is that the pool seems to be closed every time I have been there.

1, wifi not working, tried to call the reception many times,nobody has ever picked up. went to the reception next morning, the staff said my surname was typed wrong. after correction, still not working. tried four devices. then surprisingly the staff asked me to call the technical support? is that what the staff supposed to do? 2,there is no kettle in the room。they sent me a kettle wrapped with a trash bag. hahaha, interesting 3,car park over nite is supposed to be 19 dollars for 24 hours. I parked 26 hours straight, they charged me 38 dollars. how funny is that

Generally 'adequate' with no special pizazz or style. Carpets a bit worn, overall needs a refresher re-do. Reasonably priced for what it is. Service at desk and in restaurant was very good.

Lot of positives but few negatives too, I would definitely stay here again because of the great location and comfortable beds. As a Titanium member, I did not receive a room upgrade but got late check out and free breakfast - you have $60 credit for 2 and can choose whatever you want on the menu. Great lobby, smells nice with a lot of seating options. However, our room smelled like hamburgers when we walked in. Room is a little outdated. Parking is a little misleading, you have access to park at a parking garage next door, but there are no in & out privileges, so you have to either pay $8 per hour or $19 max for day. For a one-night stay, we ended up paying much more than $19 because we went out for coffee & shopping. We liked that there are Electric car charging stations in the parking garage, but it is not $5 per day like the Bonvoy app states. Overall, it’s very conveniently located and one of the best options in Pasadena.

We had a two night stay recently and enjoyed this hotel . Everything went smoothly from signing in until checking out . The room was comfortable , everything worked and we enjoyed the breakfast that came with our stay . Would stay here again when in the area .

Daughter, single female, traveling alone was walked last night. Left on her own to go to Burbank. Told “we knew weeks ago” we were oversold. Also told nothing else is available in Pasadena. Simply not true, she found a room down the street in 2 minutes. Is this property safe for female travelers? Shame on you Marriott!

I had a confirmed reservation here with Westin for about a month. At the very last minute (2.5 days before my stay) they bumped me as they were apparently frantically oversold. They were unwilling to offer any comparable option elsewhere and left me to find my own room. So be aware that they might simply cancel your reservation at anytime and leave you homeless.

It was a great experience all around kudos to guille and Nathan and everyone else. Two remarkable persons who made our visit unforgettable.

Decent hotel. Clean rooms, housekeeping comes in to clean daily. Nice lobby and indoor/outdoor sitting areas. The main issue is that the pool is closed and there is almost no mention of it on Westin Pasadena website. Not on main page, booking, or 'hotel details' section. There is a notice if you go into 'wellness' section that the pool is closed for repairs and upgrades. It feels like they are being intentionally deceitful about the pool being closed, which is troubling because their outdoor, rooftop pool is a main feature of this hotel. From what I can tell from other reviews, the pool has been closed since the summer? We were there for 7 days and no work was being done on the pool whatsoever, not one person was even in the area. Disappointing.

NO WiFi ! To register to some App., is most difficult for seniors ! TV went OFF at 8 pm, “no connection”, but several stations like Lifetime available, no regular channels. One phone not working, actually not a major problem. The rug not cleaned up to bottom of bed. Crumbs on floor when I pulled covers back at bottom of bed frame!

I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Pasadena, and what truly stood out was the exceptional staff and service. From check-in to departure, everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely focused on making the stay comfortable and seamless. The gym deserves special mention—very well done and thoughtfully equipped. It’s one of the better hotel fitness centers I’ve used, perfect for keeping up with workouts while traveling. The hotel is well-located, comfortable, and lives up to the Westin brand in terms of quality and consistency. Overall, a great experience and a property I would happily return to when staying in Pasadena. Highly recommended.

We were excited to take a great night sleep after booking at Westin Pasadena. We loved our stays in Westin in South Coast and Westin Sacramento from the heavenly bed experience. Unfortunately, our experience in Pasadena was subpar. This Westin is, not like the other Westin, using cheaper brands, even the toilet paper are so thin. This hotel is below standard of a Westin.

Convenient location. Nice outdoor seating area for breakfast/drinks. Clean rooms with lots of counter space and storage space. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Elevators were not working very well and at a time only one was working. Taking the stairs was not very easy as I had to connect along multiple floors to get out (without triggering emergency). Was not posted that the pool was not available, so that was disappointing. Also the shower curtains were too short (or rod too high)- water pours on the floor if you do not diligently manage the curtain. We had to move from our first room because the heater didn't work- annoying, but it was resolved quickly by the maintenance staff, who were helpful and friendly.

What happened to the Heavenly bed?? The pillows were so lumpy, high, and gross I had to sleep on folded bath towels instead. They "upgraded" us to a room that stank of chemical cleansers and couldn't move us because they were full. We had to open all the windows and leave for a few hours, which barely helped. The room was also very poorly lit. Just a very funky room in a bad way for a Westin. The one thing you expect from Westin is consistency in the room quality and this hotel reeks of decline.

Parking accommodations were not ideal. Not a lot of options besides valet.
