When Checking in I asked the registration staff for a water ask she said it was only for members. I was chanted for two cars in my room.

Staff was great. Room was decent. Atmosphere was really nice. Ate out. Food was to pricey. Bought same food down the block for half the price.

Pricey food. No microwave in rooms. No free parking in hotel. Had to get valet parking.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful, polite and friendly.

Considering this is a Hilton hotel and is meant to be a prestigious brand, small things let it down. For example, a cup on the floor outside the room opposite was left there for the full 4 days we were there. Even after numerous members of staff passed it on their duties. There was nowhere to hang anything to dry (wet towels, swimming things after being in the pool etc).

I booked 2 rooms for one night and just wanted to share that Ronman at the front desk made our stay a very pleasant. He was very friendly, professional and attentive to all our needs. By the way the coffee shop across the street was great as well. We had breakfast there, which I highly recommending as an option. the service was impeccable and the food was great!

We have stayed here many times. We return every year because we love the location.. The staff are universally excellent. The staff get five stars! BUT the food is now awful! We have always enjoyed eating at the restaurant. BUT—They have changed everything. Breakfast used to be a regular menu of cooked to order breakfast standards. Now it is a buffet. The first morning of our four day stay my vegetarian omelet was greasy and had ham. It was remade and at least it did not have meat. The buffet was inedible two days in a row. The French toast was cold and dry. The croissants were tough and hard. The eggs in the buffet were rubbery. The oatmeal was good, but they ran out quickly and the second batch was not fully cooked. The waffles were cold. The buffet for two cost us $70 with tax and tip. The next day we tried to get food at the corner market, the yogurt parfait was two days past expiration. the coffee cart had run out of pastries. The final day, there were no yogurt parfaits. At the coffee cart The croissants were dry. Two coffees and two dry croissants cost $40. If you can’t offer decent food for a reasonable price the. Don’t offer anything. Or provide the quality of food you used to provide and raise the prices! What is so perplexing about this is that last year and years and years before the food was great! Hire back the old cook, bring back the old menus. It is very difficult to spend more than $250 per night plus tax etc and have to go out for breakfast. Who made the decision to destroy the quality of the food? Was it to save money? This was a gigantic mistake! We would pay increased price for good food, and refuse to pay for bad quality food.

Great location. Loved the dining area. Felt safe knowing only hotel key holders can use the elevator. Room service was great.

The area is safe very clean. Everything is well within walking distance (restaurants, shopping center, etc)

This is a very nice property situated in a prime location. Pasadena is immensely walkable, with the Metro about 10-minute walk away (with inclines). Our room was clean with a nice view of the mountains, however I do wish housekeeping serviced more often during our week-long stay. For our trip, we had to commute to downtown LA frequently, so expect a 45mins train ride and 15-30mins car ride (it changes depending on traffic). For exploring Pasadena, this was a great stay. It was safe, clean, quiet, and easy to navigate. If you enjoy walking, this is a great option for you.

The hotel food—which we had to choose because of holidays closures—was not good and very overpriced. If you’re staying and planning on eating, make note of the service fees, which are already included.

Clean and comfortable. Great location, walking distance to Old Pasadena and 25 minute walk to the Norton Simon Museum. Front desk and bar staff was great and Rosie was delightful with my room service.

Rosie, provided excellent customer service.

This was our first stay at this hotel, and overall it was quite nice. The check-in was a breeze, the front desk staff were excellent, the digital door locks worked well (and also on the elevator, which was helpful). The cleaning staff were prompt and attentive, and the rooms were cleaned really well. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool is dated and could really use a refresh, in terms of signage, chairs / lounges, and decor. OTOH, the gym was modern, very nicely equipped, and everything worked. My one negative has to do with pricing in the restaurant / coffee shop. Adding a 20% 'service fee' to everything and THEN adding a tip line on the credit slip is inappropriate. If the menu mentioned the 'service fee' anywhere, I didn't see it. Is the 'servis compris'? If so, tell us that the 20% is going to the staff. If we want to leave a couple of bucks as a 'pourboire', great, but it's not expected. If it's not going to the staff, just tell us that when the menu says '$25', it really means '$30'.

The Hilton Pasadena has the best customer experience. From check in to room service everyone is so friendly and accommodating. One experience really stood out and that was with Rosie! Her incredibly friendly personality and service oriented culture was so incredibly genuine. I just immediately felt her warmth and felt like I’ve known her forever! Thank you Rosie! You’re a star!

The room-service breakfast was good. Arrived hot enough. Bed was comfy. Valet parking with car charging was very convenient. Staff was great.

Chairs in the restaurant and room desk chair gave me backaches. TV hotel submenu had no info, just a QR code. No lighting I could control when I dragged a chair up to the window.

Tolo was super helpful at the front desk. Alex and Milton were exceptional in the restaurant and what an unbelievable fitness center, which is the cleanest I have seen.

We used this hotel was attending a conference at the Pasadena Conference Center. The hotel was nice enough, and we appreciated the complementary upgrade to a "high floor mountain view" room. As hilton honors members, we appreciated being able to pick up a couple of bottles of water daily. We also appreciate that housekeeping was happy to work around our schedule. That said, there were downsides. (a) there was only one chair, and not very comfortable, for working at the desk. (b) We did have a mountain view, but only if you sat right on the edge of the bed. (c) It was annoying that we had to re-log into the internet every morning. (d) The only parking available is valet (expensive!); there are other hotels closer to the conference center that allow free self-parking.

Very comfortable hotel. Not many full-service hotels have room service anyone, but this one does. Rosie did a great job with room service.

So far my experience has been great. The check-in was easy, the room is spotless and I have a good view. After a tiring trip yesterday traveling across the country and then a long day at a conference today, I’ve ordered room service twice. The food was excellent and the service has been exemplary. Rosie was a delight.

They over booked. When I received my key I opened door and a guy was already occupying the room. Carpet through hallways were also dirty

I had a great experience at the Hilton Pasadena, and I wanted to recognize Katrina for her outstanding customer service. She consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. Not only was she friendly, professional, and attentive, but she also helped me with an issue when my phone was about to die. The team went out of their way to find a charger for me, which was incredibly helpful and showed a genuine commitment to customer care. The staff here truly make a difference. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and focused on making sure guests had a great experience. It's rare to find a team that cares this much, and it definitely did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Katrina, and the entire Hilton Pasadena team, for making my stay such a positive one. I look forward to staying here again! JS

Rooms are on the smaller side. I tried to change the date but they were unresponsive to Booking.com. I will be back in Pasadena in June and was planning to stay here for a few days but now I’ll find alternative option.

There were extra service charges added on daily. Would have been nice to have known how much they were when booking and had that included in the final price.

Nice spot, had everything I needed, great staff… one stand out- Gina was the kind of bartender that makes people come back, professional yet funny and awesome. She ran the room making everyone feel like they were part of the fun yet chill atmosphere. Fav drink the Pils.

The windows do not open and the sound of ventilation fans going all night was a little much. Leaving theair conditioning on all night would have been deafening but the room was hopelessly stuffy with no ability to open windows.

We had several rooms for a week. We made many requests. The Engineer Alberto from engineering went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Appreciate that there are staff here like Alberto who deal with guests with patience and professionalism!

Stayed for a night and got room service. Rosie was great and so nice and helpful. Appreciated her being so quick and bringing up great food!

Valet service was only option for parking and expensive incl. daily fee + tip each time car was brought. Lobby has a chemical "air freshener" smell. No complimentary services in the lobby, like coffee. Not enough coffee in the room. Facility hasn't been recently updated. Ice machine sign pointed to wrong place, and no sign indicating that it was behind a fire door.

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending Golden Gloves, it's reasonably priced for the area with friendly staff and clean rooms. We had a King Deluxe with a balcony, the bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. It's walkable to some popular locations and about 20 minutes from Universal Studios. We didn't get to use their restaurant and didn't have time to use the pool so I'm unable to rate those. We were very happy with our stay and would chose this hotel again.

Location is excellent. $36.00/night for parking - COMON’ MAN! - I paid it, others paid it so you won’t stop - but one less customer in the future.

I have stayed at this location many times. I love all the staff, especially Rosie in room service. During my stay I broke my arm (not at the hotel). Rosie was amazing. She went above and beyond to assist me.

This property is well located for activities in downtown Pasadena. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was quite standard; some, including ours, had a nice view of the nearby hills and mountains. My one complaint was that the room had poor lighting. The bulbs produced a low level of light, so even with all the lamps on, the room was sort of dim. This problem compounded as I was reading in bed before I went to sleep. The lamp on my side of the bed didn't produce enough light to read. I've traveled quite a bit and this was a first for me. The light on the other side of the bed (where my companion was reading) was better.

In town just for a short time, but my stay is leaving me with a wonderful impression of Pasadena--in particular: the people! From the valets out front to the front desk staff, and especially to Rosie who delivered room service (fast! kind! delicious food!) I am grateful.
