Staff polite and friendly, bed really comfortable. Bathroom was exceptional! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I would choose to stay here again if I were in the area.
Only thing I’d say is I struggled to get any gluten free food other than crisps and dip from the room service menu, I’d have liked another option as I would have used the room service a lot more but had to order door dash
huge rooms
more expensive than similar hotels
Brilliant from beginning to end.
I missed hotels that are going above and beyond in everything: very large bedrooms, gigantic bathrooms, amazing rooftop pool, complementary breakfast, impeccable service… my absolute best kind of hotel
NOTHING. Like, nothing.

Breakfast was good, but was the same thing every day. It also could’ve used more variety. The main things were just potato and frittata.
The rooms look very old and dilapidated. They could use some renovating. Also, when I came into my room, the couch cushion was missing a cover so all you saw was foam, and the balcony door would not lock. When I told the front desk about this they did send someone up right away to fix these issues, but still. Not what you would expect to find upon entering your room on the first day at a five star hotel. They also didn’t have slippers or robes that most hotels of this caliber just give you.
The rooms and the location are the best part of the hotel. The rooms are big, spacious, light, well equipped. The location is amazing as well, within walking distance of restaurants and shops and close to Beverly Hills, 10 minutes by car.
300 dollars per night as a deposit, which for 4 nights is not cheap, for already prepaid room. Additionally, when i thought I had paid in full already prior to arrival, it turns out there was additional amenity tax to pay at checkout. Yes, this sum was reflected as the difference between the prepaid sum and the total hotel charge, but still, somehow this should have been communicated better, not nice to have thought you already settled the bill, and there is still 193 dollars to pay.
Guest only pool Quiet and large rooms Friendly staff across the board Complimentary breakfast is an excellent inclusion
West Hollywood can be a noisy area and there’s nothing the hotel can do about that but be prepared to hear sirens etc.
We spent 3 nights at The London West Hollywood. The hotel has alot to offer and the staff are very attentive. The rooms could do with an upgrade - them seem a bit tired.
Room was big enough for your family. Cozy & not noisy except the next room. Breakfast was ok. Bathroom is quite big. Location is good for us to visit places such as Universal Studio, Dodgers stadium, Getty within 30min by Car. Cleaness is good.
Nothing special
We had genuinely enjoyed our stay at The London West Hollywood. The hotel is beautiful and most of the staff had been wonderful. We liked it so much that friends of ours actually booked and arrived during our stay based on our recommendation.
Unfortunately, everything changed on our final day. As our children were about to play ping-pong on the terrace, the table suddenly collapsed before our 7-year-old daughter had even touched it, falling onto her foot. She was unable to walk, and we spent our final afternoon and evening in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Emergency Department. The following day she still couldn’t walk, so we also had to cancel our plans, including a Warner Bros. visit with friends. What disappointed us most was the hotel’s response. We fully understand that medical liability is handled by insurance — our own travel insurance covered the medical care. What we expected from a hotel of this standard was empathy, an apology and some acknowledgement of what our family had experienced. Nobody from senior management came to ask how our daughter was or personally apologize. Even though the General Manager was at the hotel that morning, we were simply given his business card and told to contact him ourselves. Accidents can happen. How a hotel responds to them is a choice. Sadly, after an otherwise wonderful stay, we left feeling deeply disappointed by the lack of care and hospitality shown when we needed it most.
During my family’s stay, 1k cash disappeared from a fanny pack that was hidden inside luggage. After housekeeping serviced the room in the morning, the fanny pack was found partially open and placed back inside the luggage, which made us reasonably suspect this was intentional. We reported it to the hotel multiple times, but they only said they were “unable to confirm” anything and offered no meaningful resolution. My family had to leave the country the next day, so we did not have time to file a police report immediately, but the hotel’s response made us feel that they don’t care at all and it could be a serial thief.
Lage und Ruhe
Schönes Hotel in super Lage mit freundlichem Personal
It was our first time in California, and I am so glad we picked The London. Our stay was amazing and the staff was wonderful. We were in the middle of a beautiful area, and I will definitely stay there again.
We booked this hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and travelled all the way from London, UK, expecting a memorable stay. Despite informing the hotel months in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, there was not even a simple note or gesture to acknowledge the occasion. It was disappointing, especially from a 5-star hotel. To make matters worse, there was severe noise from emergency roadworks caused by an unforeseen sinkhole outside the hotel. The work continued 24 hours a day throughout our entire three-night stay, significantly disrupting our sleep. While we understand that the roadworks were beyond the hotel's control, it was disappointing that no compensation or goodwill gesture was offered despite the considerable inconvenience. The hotel failed to notify us about this significant disturbing noise so that we have an option to book another hotel. This is not the level of service we expect from a 5-star hotel. We are checking out today with a very bitter impression and regret choosing this hotel for such an important milestone. Unfortunately, what should have been a special anniversary celebration turned into a deeply disappointing experience. If you'd like, I can also make it more concise for Google Reviews or more formal for a complaint to the hotel's management.
Location was good. Very hot, rancid smell for the atmosphere. Rooms are fairly big. Dirty hotel carpet, very dirty. Not worth the price. Very rude bellman aggressively throwing my box into the room. Overall, 2/10. Save your money and go elsewhere. Had high expectations, just very disappointing and rude bellman. We just arrived, and the man is throwing my box and handling it very aggressively. On the first day.
Room size, bathroom size, cleanliness, hotel location
Valet parking was quite expensive
Very helpful staff and good location
Nice and good location
I got several travel agencies and The London is and will be our choice in West Hollywood, great great staff and nice spacious rooms, you feel home at London. I would like to give all staff the honorary for exceptional service but remember a few names unfortunately, Raquel in the restaurant a sunshine, Juan and all other colleagues, Matthew, Richard, Andres and all others at the door, Will in the reception but as mentioned ALL staff at London are great!
I went for a staycation and was thrilled with my experience at The London. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was impeccable with a killer view of ALL of LA (I was in the Crown suite, 8th floor). There's a charming gift shop called Bailey Wick, too!
This hotel had so much potential but missed the ball on so many fronts. It seems like it tried but gave up on the final details. I should start by saying the positives which is that their beds were comfy and anytime we asked for something to come up, they did it right away. So that part was great. But many other items, there wasn't enough consideration paid. For example, they had chairs around the desks in the room. But the material and cover of the chairs make them impossible to use because you keep sliding off of it. Or they have balconies, but they are unusable because the railing is so low that it feels very scary to get on it. They had coffee at the front desk in the morning; but it was ice cold and I had to ask them twice to heat it back up. They have a huge bathroom, but it has no chairs or tables to put things on. And of course my least favorite thing in a hotel: Bar soaps. Why not give liquid soap at the sink? It has a pool, but it smelled funky. We ordered food at the poolside, but when we checked on it half hour later, they said they'd forgotten to ring it up. There were 6 people working at the valet (very nice) but when we asked them how to get to Melrose Place, they had no idea where that is. Either way, I feel the hotel just needs to give a bit more consideration to the customer journey and experience.
Truly fabulous experience. Nicest hotel staff ever. Location, rooms, food, drinks all outstanding. Rooftop pool and restaurant/bar was outstanding. The view makes it sing.
Good location
Rooms need refresh Breakfast uninspiring Extra amenity charge for using pool seems ridiculous when you are a paying guest
Really an excellent hotel. Our room was really superb with a balcony overlooking the hills. Breakfast was great as well as food from the restaurant by the pool. Service was second to none. A great base for exploring LA and especially the Hollywood and Beverly Hills area. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed one night, and had a great experience! Every employee we came in contact with, from start to finish, were wonderful. The restaurant was good, and the free morning breakfast was a nice surprise. The room we were in was a great size, but it could use an update. The bed was comfortable too.
This is a Beautiful hotel with IMPECCABLE service and staff. Highly recommended. Rooms are beautiful, especially the bathroom. I will return.
I like room, location and pool. They are friendly and caring.
Nothing
I love the location. It’s a bit quieter than a lot of the sunset strip hotels. I also like the suite rooms. I like the pool and it’s also less of a scene than most other hotels on the strip. And Overall the staff was very nice.
The first day we arrived the staff at the pool was slim and just disorganized. But the second and third day it was much better. Also the rooms are a bit dark but it didn’t bother me too much. Oh and nit picky the buffet breakfast didn’t include any hot eggs. It came with these premade egg bites. Not ideal but I didn’t want to also pay for a custom order.
Loved the old style feel and the size of the room and bathroom. Great views.
Brilliant hotel, perfect location. The staff was above and beyond at all times. The car service was a great perk. The valets were super fast and friendly. I won't hesitate to stay again.
Everything the room, balcony, breakfast, pool , Valet and especially out front of guest host Zon
Nothing
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly professional and always willing to help. When I needed ice and wine glasses , nora from minibar help with my request the service made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. I truly appreciated their kindness and attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to family and friends .
Beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for our plans in the area.
Location, you get free rides for places nearby, rooms are massive and super comfortable, great value for money
The breakfast was really bad
Nice hotel and staff and large rooms. However hidden amenity fees for WiFi, gym usage, and above market parking would mean I would not recommend.
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. So much nicer than the pictures indicate. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms spacious. The pool area is the ultimate LA experience. Staff was friendly, helpful, and there was no stuffy attitude (that is often the case at LA hotels) from anyone we interacted with. I would stay here again in a flash.
Staff were excellent and very friendly. Hotel was clean and perfect location Could not fault anything. Breakfast was sufficient and rooms were nice
This is our home away from home in LA. The staff make this gem of a hotel. In a West Hollywood neighborhood that veers from tacky ( the Sunset ) to delightful ( walk in the Norma Triangle neighborhood). Eclectic is the word for the area but The London is a refined but not stuffy, elegant retreat with the most kind and professional staff. Did I mention the cool private cinema where they host screenings for the industry? Old world glam amid the Hollywood scene. The bathrooms are the most luxurious - like a Roman Spa!
Bathroom
Random Amenity fee when leaving not made clear anywhere and we barely used any ‘amenities’.
Terrific hotel. Rooms very spacious. Great service across the board. Will be my go-to hotel in LA, most certainly. Walkable area.
Excellent
Location was a little far down the strip
the room was so spacious and i had the best view from my balcony. truly felt like a princess being here by myself
there is nothing i didn't like to be honest.
The location, friendly staff and a beautiful room. Loved it.
Nothing.
Well located.
Not the cleanest. Charges were erroneous and needed to be double checked. Charged a resort fee over and above what I was charged on Booking.com despite Booking stating that resort fee included. Staff not great, and one of the front desk agents was particularly rude.
the Breakfast what was included is limited but ok the Breakfast yo can order À la carte is nice
Nothing
Everything
Good location for our first 3 days.
The staff were amazing! Their customer service in every part of the hotel was exceptional. Also having the complimentary house car available was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.
The breakfast buffet needs to be changed every few days. It was fine for a 3 day stay but we were a little sick of it by the third day.
nice design and very clean. so far the best design of a hotel room i've ever seen. like it so much. the shampoo / body wash could be better though.
Large room w a great view and nice location. Showers are great!
The staff when we arrived was not the friendliest. Car parking is expensive
I love the floor plan of the rooms and the overall look of the room. The bed faces the window / balcony, and the bathroom is behind and out of view of the bed. The bathroom is generously sized with the toilet and shower set slightly apart from the sink and mirror. The shower gauges were a little tricky to learn, and the water spills out onto the floor, which reminds me of the many European bathroom showers that I don't like, but it is otherwise a tasteful layout with nicely tiled floors and comfy towels. The tv can be angled out so that you can watch from bed, and there is a nice sofa area to sit. We did not try the breakfast so I can not comment, but the valet staff were very helpful and friendly.
I could not figure out the clothing steamer for the life of me so it is either broken or too complicated for its own use. Luckily I brought my own, but they should switch to a steamer that is simple to figure out: fill it with water, plug it in and it boils. There really shouldn't be anything more to understand. Similarly, turning the lights on and off should not be a complex matter with a steep learning curve. Whatever happened to a light switch that turned lights on and off? Why does there need to be so much to understand about different zones of lighting operated by different buttons and no clarification as to what turns on what? We are not staying at the hotel long enough to learn the complexities of how everything works. These trends in hotels are aggravating and not something anyone asked for. I beseech hotel developers to say no to their interior designers who encourage this nonsense. It's not cool; it's just irritating and stupid. This is not related to the room or hotel in terms of accommodations, but the hotel name should really be reconsidered. How many separate place names can you shove into the name of a hotel and why would one do this? And what does London have to do with where we are? A hotel should celebrate where it is actually located (in this case, LA) not some completely different place, and the inclusion of both West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, while adjacent locations, is confusing.
Staying for business trip, expensive but really nice hotel. Staff very friendly.Just off sunset blvd. parking is 75 dollars a night!
Excellent location. Very comfortable rooms and extremely clean. Awesome staff.
Loved everything from Service to food
I always like the location to the Whisky a go go
I think their beds are to hard.. they do not give you a discount for being a California resident, like they say or any AARP discount.. when asked about how to get a California resident discount, it was a convoluted explanation that I'm not even he understood.. no one at front desk told me that they had a driving service till 11pm at night.. they just have a small sign on counter way in the corner.. I could have used that to go back to the Rainbow after dinner at the hotel the night of my stay!.. also you can't use the refrigerator in the room to put your leftovers from dinner or anything else because they have it filled with stuff they charge you for if you use it!.. they need to have another little refrigerator next to the one they have filled
Absolutely stunning hotel
Matthew the bellman at The London West Hollywood absolutely made our stay exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and incredibly attentive. He handled our luggage quickly and with care, but what really stood out was his attitude—genuinely friendly, upbeat, and eager to help with anything we needed. Matthew went above and beyond by offering great local recommendations and making sure we were comfortable and taken care of every time we came and went. It’s rare to come across someone who takes that much pride in their role, and it truly elevates the entire hotel experience. If you’re staying at The London, you’ll know you’re in good hands the second you meet Matthew. A true asset to the hotel—5 stars all the way.
Everything. Have stayed before. Staff, Value for Money, Rooms, Bathrooms
Nothing really
Really great stay at The London West Hollywood. Top location, easy to walk around, and not far from everything. The staff was excellent — very friendly, professional, and super helpful. Special thanks to the valet parking team and the reception staff, who were outstanding. Everything we asked for was done perfectly. The room was fantastic — super spacious, very well decorated, with a nice minibar, small kitchen counter, great wardrobes, a large beautiful bathroom, and a lovely balcony with a beautiful downtown view. The only point to improve, in my opinion, is the breakfast concept. Breakfast was included, but the selection felt a little limited, while extra payable items were offered at the same time. In this price range, that feels a little unusual. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and had a very positive experience and will come back for sure
The London hotel is beautiful and one of my favorite hotels. It's clean, classy and in a great location. It has various rooms and locations with great rooftop views. I highly recommend it!
Gorgeous property. The room was jaw dropping. The staff were accommodating, kind and warm.
Nothing I didn’t like.
Nice hotel in very good location. Decent facilities - gym and dinign room / bar. Staff very helpful and will cater for vegans especially breakfast.
I don't write reviews very often. Generally something has to be particularly good (or bad) for me to do so and my recent visit to London West Hollywood was a great experience. Everyone (valet, front desk personnel, wait staff and housekeeping) was genuinely friendly and helpful. Our suite with two full baths and two balconies was amazing and the location of the hotel was hip and convenient. Thank you for a truly enjoyable stay!
Great property great stay. Fabulous staff
Excellent service, gorgeous unique property, comfortable and well-appointed rooms
Would make daily breakfast buffet selections wider, and vary them at least every other day
Don't waste your time shouldn't be a fine hotel very run down matress should always be comfortable felt 20 years old With spots on carpet so gross. Amex benefit useless.
Not worth for the price you pay
Great room sizes very comfortable - very good gym and roof top pool
one side rather noisy from the street somewhat sterile bar and restaurant
