New York Marriott Marquis

Clean , location in the middle of Times Square , they did not charge us for the one hour late check out (we checked out at 1 instead of 12 ).

Although the hotel provides free water in the lobby, they do not provide any water in the rooms. As I would expect from a 5-star hotel, I believe the service should be enhanced. If the hotel wants to protect the environment, they could provide refillable glass water bottles in the rooms and refill them daily. Additionally, the reception staff were a little rude and not very friendly. Overall, I am used to the high-quality service in Dubai, and compared to the rest of our trip in the USA, the level of service here did not meet the same standards

The central location is great and the staff is very friendly.

It’s a bit dated. The rooms could use refurbishment.

Loved the location

The water from the bathroom shower would start brown and then clear up as the water ran

Glass elevators and room location looked directly at Time Square!

How busy it was, and the cost at the bar

Location, amenities, efficient check in, early room availability, breakfast, luggage and porter service and the View were all excellent. Service is top tier and one feels safe and secure in tbe bustling centre of Times Square

Our room was not cleaned on the 1st morning. Initially we thought it may have been a language barrier with the housekeeping lady so even called housekeeping services to request this after we returned to our room in the afternoon around 2pm and it was still not cleaned. They assured us they would handle it. We then left and returned after 11pm again, to find a roon still not clean and nothing replenished (coffee etc). This was raised with the cleaning staff the next morning, who stated we said she must not clean the room to which we disagreed. So this was the one blunder of our stay

Great Location. Staff friendly. Clean, felt safe with the security of the hotel.

WIFI did not work at the hotel for half of our stat.

On y retournera.

Lovely property - spacious and clean bedrooms. Comfy beds, restaurants are lovely also

Check when booking if WiFi is included within your stay when booking with booking.com.

It was central to where we wanted to be for our trip

Nothing really

This is in the heart of Time Square. The hotel is very close to food stores and vendors. If you like African food it’s few walk from Lagos TSQ. Very close to all attraction’s sites be it by walk or cab. Ensure you master the pick up zone 46th street or 47 street and you can always look at the hotel exit to confirm to avoid the cab parking far away and you have to figure out where the cab parked. The hotel staff are very nice and respectful. Room service is very prompt and they do a good job. Breakfast is top notch. There Starbucks on the Ground floor. There’s so many lift for everyone to access. Can see time square from the room as it has a time square view. They would give 2 attraction tickets which is good. You can access room service 24/7. The hotel has a good view be it in the lift or outside the lift.

Nothing.

Impeccable! 100% satisfait

I really enjoyed everything

Excellent

Good

One can’t get a better location than this especially if you’re visiting NY for the first time. You can visit most iconic places via a short walk or the subway. While checking in we were recommended a “paid” upgrade, and the magnificent Times Square views from the room made that extra payment absolutely worth it. Thanks Susy for that ( hope I got the name right). The staff were warm and caring across the board. In particular, Javier at the Broadway Lounge was absolutely awesome and made every session there so memorable for us.

Nothing to not like

La ubicación es fantástica.

Necesita una actualización, pero está bien mantenido.

I liked the property because it was close to Times Square and all of the musical theaters

Bed was comfortable

Just average for the price. My view was air conditioners on a roof.

Close to everything in Times Square

It's all about money. No personal touch at all. Our room was so small we ended up upgrading so,we could have storage for our bags.

Beautiful spotless hotel and and such wonderful staff. Such delicious food and. Extremely comfortable room. 10 checks

Everything is beautiful

The beauty, the clean and attention

This hotel is great. It's in the heart of Times Square.

The shower floor is slippery and there's no grab bar. I had to use a hand towel on the shower floor to keep from slipping. Also the elevators are neat but sometimes it's too many people assigned to the same elevator.

This is a great hotel with a dedicated and engaging staff. The pleasantness and focus that you experience with the staff is consistent and a direct reflection of their focus on the “customer experience”. In particular I would like to commend “Nesha” in housekeeping who welcomed us to the hotel and proactively focused on ensuring that we had everything that we needed for our stay. Nesha is a superstar.

Excellent hotel, right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Staff very welcoming and room size was great for such a central location. Room service was not amazing but the view from our room of Times Square was superb. Would definitely recommend this hotel, easy access to subway.

Excellent location, right in the heart of times square. The size of the room was good as well, nothing really to complain about at all.

Great Hotel and view. Staff were very friendly

The room was fine. Gym facilities were good. Location was central.

Reception team was unhelpful- especially Jordan. We had an issue with inclusion of breakfast in the cost which was finally resolved with help from booking.com. We got a bad choice of room- although it was claimed to be Times Square facing- we had minimal/no view of Times Square.

Location & amenities

Cleaning staff left their belongings in my room and

Walking distance to Times Square, nice views. Friendly & helpful staff.

Great location

Hotel with great location

I paid for an accommodation with a view of time square and they put me on the right side in front of the clock I requested the change of room for a better view from the stairs I was moved to another room with signs in front taking away all the view the windows were very dirty I didn't have a good view outside 😰

Nothing

I must say, that the New York Marriott Marquis is a very beautiful, lively hotel in the center of everything in Times Square. In addition, the Marriott Lounge for Elite members was very welcoming, cozy, and the door staff were pleasant and friendly; especially Michael. My husband and I initially had a room issue during our check-in and were told prior to our requested checkin that no upgrades were available, but the room check-in issue situation was resolved and we suddenly received an upgraded room with an absolute amazing view of Times Square. The hotel location is very convenient as it right in the center of everything and right across the street from Junior’s Restaurant. We also enjoyed our reservation at The View restaurant (rooftop floor), as it moves into a circular rotation showing NYC. The food was pretty decent and the views were great, although the lunch menu was somewhat limited in options. Overall, my husband and I had a great stay at NYC Marriott Marquis and we would definitely return when visiting again.

Super!

This was our first time staying at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, and the location couldn't be better — right in the middle of the action, with incredible views of the city. The property is impeccably well-groomed and clean throughout. From the moment we arrived, the luggage staff were helpful, and the front desk team was incredibly accommodating, arranging connecting rooms for us without any hassle. The rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable, a nice surprise for a Manhattan hotel. The food was excellent — high quality across the board, with great variety to suit everyone's taste. The property is well maintained at all times of day, and the rooms were kept spotless throughout our stay. Beyond the practical comforts, the energy of the location added so much to the overall experience — being able to step outside into Times Square itself made the stay feel special. We're already looking forward to coming back.
