Die Zimmer und Einrichtungen sind fantastisch, das Frühstücksbuffet ein Traum! Als mein Mann krank war und ein paar Tage im Spital war, haben sie sich so rührend um uns gekümmert! Einfach gold wert. Vielen Dank und hoffentlich bis bald!

Sie haben sich so gut um uns gekümmert, auch als mein Mann krank wurde und ins Spital gebracht werden musste, haben sie uns sehr geholfen! Auch das Zimmer und das Bett waren hervorragend - sehr sauber und bequem! Perfekt nach einem Vulkantrekking! Das Frühstück war auch erste Klasse, es hat für jeden was dabei!

We booked two rooms, asked for early check in at 12:00hrs but the hotel allow us to check in at 10:00am already. It was really great service! Love to stay there and looking forward to be back again soon.

Reviewed May 31, 2026The room was excellent, comfortable bed and silent. Bathroom had all you could wish for. The Jamoo restaurant provided a nice dinner buffet, and especially the breakfast buffet was extensive, and even with local live cooking stations. Miss Fio, at the breakfast reception welcomes you with a wonderful smile, and the manager Mr. Khusaeri made great effors in welcoming you, and explain details about the food. Very pleasant experience!
The gym is quite basic, but it will do. And the steam room in the Spa was way too hot, so be careful. Since they have closed water bottles, they might as well can provide more than 2 bottles in the room as better service.

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026Shangri-La Surabaya is still the gracious Queen of 5 star hotels in Surabaya, with impeccable service from qualified and well-trained staff, excellent facilities - a really nice, large resort pool with kids' pools and water slide not interfering with the main pool, a good spa/gym area with free and bookable table tennis - comfortable rooms with large windows, expansive views and very comfortable beds providing firm support with a soft topper. Wood fired pizza oven in the Italian restaurant meant yummy fare there too.
Nothing to fault. My dream weekend getaway whenever I have the time again in future. Desperados was closed when we were there, so we'll try it on our next visit.

I really enjoy the staff who are very friendly, call me and my wife by name and we have conversations during our stay. I use the executive lounge and staff are truly excellent. The gym and changing rooms are excellent something I always use during my stay ie the gym. Pool, breakfast, dinner especially in the Chinese and Italian restaurants are excellent also.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Staying in Shangri-la Surabaya is very comfortable and the room is spacious. We choose room with horizon lounge access and the lounge service and facilities are excellent. Staffs are also very accomodating. Looking forward our next stay in Shangri-la Surabaya.
Walking to the car park building is not sheltered and must use umbrella when rain.

這個比較偏向個人偏好，個人覺得Buffet 的晚餐沒有很好吃，反而早餐的菜色很棒且價格合理，建議想吃Buffet 的可以吃早餐的即可.

The facility is very clean and the staff’s service was exceptional. The check in and check out was fast, and the requests were accomodated promptly by housekeeping, concierge, and restaurants. SUPER comfortable stay!❤️

The breakfast is reasonable.. The food at the access lounge is not good although I hardly use it during my stay, The gym equipment needed upgrading for a 5 star hotel rating.
