Fellesarealene var flotte. Tydelig at dette har bært et eksklusivt hotell.
Rommene var slitne- mangler vedlikehold. I løpet ac de tre nettene vi bodde der var det null renhold eller sjekk av rommet. Måtte be om å få reine håndkle. Hårtørker manglet og.
Disgusting !!! Moved rooms 3 times due to broken windows !!! Place was filthy and falling apart !! Drug dealers directly outside offering Cocaine !!!! Stay away !!!!!
Excelente location and great potential building
Not clean.. finger print on the walls, damp smell. Plaster and ceiling need mayor maintenance/ breakfasts was excluded at £250 stay !
Great hotel
No water in rooms or phones
Excellent location
Drinking water for coffee
Nice clean twin bedded room. Magnificent public lounges. Excellent position. Handy car park. Helpful and pleasant staff, though insufficient staff overall for an hotel of this size.
Long queues at reception. No daily room service (we were staying 3 days). No apparent coffee or drinks service in the lounge. Usually only one person on reception.
No hot water for shower, rude staff, noisy guests until 4am and building work starting at 7am so no sleep either
The location is good but everything else lets it down.
The property is very run down, no soundproofing so you hear other rooms and noise from a very busy outside area. It was not obvious from the booking that pets are allowed in any room, a problem if you have allergies. The staff were unfriendly and lacked any empathy. The beds were old and uncomfortable, so not a good nights sleep. The curtains did not close fully so light let into the room early. You have to wait a long time for lifts. We would not stay here again. I suppose you get what you pay for as it was a cheap rate.
Great location, close to everything. The room was huge
Good price and good locsyion near Lime Street Station and local bars.
Over 15 minutes to check in. Only one person and only 4 people infront of me. Had checked in on line but made no difference . The bar in the hotel closed and told to go in the msin lounge fir a coffee .... never saw any staff there.
Read quite a few reviews of people putting it down so booked to check it out . While it may be along way from perfect it's no worse than some more modern hotels we have stayed in it is a beautiful building and yes sadly let down in areas but it did not spoil our stay
Everything was fine
Friendly staff. Large room. Great bathroom. Fantastic location.
'Fast check-in' took too long. Not enough staff? Some of the bedroom features a little worn out. Not enough signage in corridors. Plan of hotel on back of door too small to read.
The manager was really nice, polite and welcoming. The room had everything you need for a one night stopover.
I have never slept in a bed as uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the mattress. Except for the manager, I don't think the rest of the staff know how to even smile.
Loverly hotel
Nice old hotel
The staff were very helpful and it was no problem at all to move us to a different room when I told them that the room we were in had a really bad smell coming from the bathroom. The new room was an upgrade too. The corridors are great and the decor and lights in the main rooms are amazing. It was good value for a comfortable bed for the night. Breakfast was also good value.
The smell coming from the bathroom in the first room was awful and made me feel sick. Shame that the revolving door has gone
Location
Nothing - this is the worst hotel in Liverpool.
Everything - I made ONE request and was refused. Nobody should stay at this disgusting hotel.
Close to railway. Main shopping avenue was across the street. Extensive breakfast buffet. It’s a stop on the hop on hop off route
Bed and pillows were extremely hard. The dining hall for dinner was also a buffet with slow service from the kitchen
We had a fantastic few days. We would highly recommend
central
doors in bathroom and toilets kept sticking No extraction system in toilets
Great location for city centre and Lime street station.
Run down and tired. Room was fine though, sufficient for one night.
Liverpool
Hot water non existent mattress disgusting didn't clean room atal
Outstanding staff very helpful
A larger room than I expected and a good view of the city. A separate bathroom within the room but no bath but a good shower.
Great location, lovely staff and clean
Room was extremely hot although equipped with a fan it was still very warm. TV in room didn’t work and the cold tap in the bathroom was temperamental
Checking in, Breakfast, Friendly staff
The bed felt hard where I am used to softer and felt hard to get comfortable.
Large room
The room
Excellent location great staff good breakfast and fantastic happy hours at the bar. Will be my first choice next time I come to Liverpool.
Weather
Staff and visitors were lovely.. the bars were very good.. my friend and myself were singing Flower of Scotland and we're not Scottish .. great atmosphere.. staff were always willing to help with a smile.. I always feel comfortable here .. Try it ..
There was nothing we did not like.
Last minute booking for a night out as I didnt want to risk missing the last train home. Adelphi is a great central location for a night out on the tiles. Nicely refurbished large rooms, and quiet too which surprised me given the weekend party crowds. Good breakfast. Good atmosphere in general- especially in the bar which was packed for Happy Hour at 4pm and everyone already half trollied! Exceeded my expectations.
Its such a shame - this beautiful, grand old lady is an art deco masterpiece and could be fabulous if only a few basics were attended to. Check-in process was very slow and quite unfreindly (which is untypical of the rest of the friendliest city in the world). Especially annoying given that I had already checked in online only to be told the 'expresss check-in desk is shut' and to get to the back of the queue by a quite miserable chap on the reception desk! Beds average, pillows not great.
Location was amazing, the piece of history was an amazing experience and the price was fabulous.
Perfect location for my travelling needs
It was a little noisy at night
I like the room and staff
Nothing all was good
I had a fantastic time at the Adelphi Hotel, spotless clean rooms and the staff were so helpful and friendly
I have limited mobility and travel with a small mobility scooter, but the lifts kept breaking down
the location is close to everything you need
the staff are disgustingly rude and unwelcoming and have some really out of date policies
It's central for us as it's near the station and a short walk to pubs and shops
There was some entertainment on but it finished just after 8.30pm and the other bar wasn't open so we had to go out to another venue
The Art Deco interior is fabulous & size of our bedrooms with original features are amazing. The bathrooms had a modern refurb with a good hot shower. Everything was spotless clean in all areas.
There’s nothing to dislike!
Rommet stort, luftig og pent og badet var rel nyoppusset.
Veldig trege heiser. Be om rom lengst nede.
Very good stay looked after we'll by The staff as a wheelchair user accessible room facilities Lovely food
Lovely Historical hotel oid Railway Hotel close to lime street Railway station
Cleaniness and good atmospheric design to room
Myself for leaving important documents in room on checkout . However a few hours lafer after enquiring with reception I was able to retrieve with no issue and reception kept documents safe and was grateful for that.
The location is great, beds comfortable, staff friendly.
Breakfast could be improved, when the coach trips come in its hectic. And the curtains could do with bigger ones they didn't meet so could see straight outside.
Location
Everything Place was dirty
Beliggenheten
Dårlig, service, veldig skittent, STAY AWAY
Lovely location and good sized room

I chose the Adelphi due to location as we were moving our daughter into Uni halls right next door, and also pure Nostalgia of such a prominent hotel. The bathroom was to a beautiful high standard, and the room was pleasantly decorated with a huge fire place and gorgeous seating. Tea and coffee facilities were adequate and thankfully there was a fan supplied as we could not open a window, and for mid September it was very warm. Plenty of storage too if you were staying for longer than 1 night. The Bar was lovely and the young lad working was delightful. This is also a great hotel for location in general. You are within minutes walk of everything. Bus stop to airport is 3 minutes up the road, shops are right in front of you as are lots of bars and restaurants, museums to the right, Liverpool lime Street 3 minutes away. You cant go wrong with it.
The lifts, oh my days, what an absolute nightmare, when we arrived one was already out of order, by the evening 2 were out of order. By Sunday at checkout we waited as lift after lift was packed and we had 3 large suitcases and multiple bags of home items for our daughters move. We had to pop our cases in with strangers as my husband ran and waited downstairs for their arrival, thankfully the other guests were very helpful. There were 3 elderly Scottish ladies waiting, 1 was clearly quite frail and they ended up taking the stairs which is just disgusting. Over 400 rooms, 6 floors and 1 working lift! I also know its not a one off due to a member of staff being very vocal about how often this happens. I know its an old building, and things break, but lifts are hugely important in a building that size. Also there does not appear to be disabled access/ramp to access the building, I may be wrong, but I saw a few couples struggling with prams at the entrance.
Salongene, beliggenheten og atmosfæren.Stort og luftig rom.
Litt slitt på rommet.1
Location was fantastic, staff were great.
Only 1 lift working all our stay.
It is centrally located and well positioned for my needs. Bathroom and shower were excellent
The bed was rock solid no give and the pillows the same. Even sleeping on top of the duvet doubled over didn’t help. The room was so hot it reminded me of student accommodation where you have zero control of temperature. There was a freestanding fan inside which helped a little. There was only 1 lift working and a very long wait for that. When I tried to use the online check in it tried to charge me an additional amount to what I had already paid and didn’t work anyway! Lots of loud doors slamming somewhere Late night. Also the WiFi and the TV didn’t work and they only allow 2 x 20 minutes free anyway. Was going to call reception about the TV and realised there was no phone and couldn’t bear to join the queue for the lift again!
Lovely old fashioned rooms, beautiful looking building our room was very clean and spacious, mattress was very comfy.
Check in seemed a tad unorganized and took much longer than expected as I'd already checked in online before hand and my bed was Overly squeaky which made it difficult to sleep.
location, pleasant staff, evening music was pleasant must have been amazing in its day but sadly totally neglected
breakfast was constantly tepid or cold, Dinner was appalling. Cold and tasteless. Only one lift working for the whole hotel. Room decoration was dreadful with much decorating and TLC needed. Windows were open and impossible to close or adjust.
I liked the beautiful lobby and ballroom with it,s amazing atmosphere. To get that experience in central Liverpool somewhere else in such a large hotel you would have to pay a lot more, especially at short notice. The size of the room was just right for me staying overnight on my own.
I would of liked more evening meal choices later on, as the night I stayed the restaurant closed at 8pm.One of the bars only had crisps and peanuts. The other in the hotel I didn.t really investigate but thought it didn.t offer later evening food.As a woman guest on my own going out into Central Liverpool to find a meal wasn.t successful. I wasn.t really hungry but would.ve liked more of a snack choice.in a hotel bar.More than crisps, peanuts and a drink. That was cosy though in one of the hotel bars.Breakfast was good.
The location was good. We had no breakfast
Lack of lighting. Lack of power sockets. The room was near a busy road
