Very clean hotel, staff is helpful and nice. The location of this hotel was very close to our concert venue...within walking distance.
The location was very convenient since my meetings were are the conference center. The beds were so comfortable & maid service was excellent. I love having a Kuerig in my room as well.
The parking situation is terrible! If customers have to deal with that situation parking should be free. To charge for parking is wrong & my company does not reimburse for that so it cost me $60 out of my own pocket. Because of that, I will choose a different hotel for upcoming meetings.
We have stayed here before and we loved our room every time! This time we did not! It was a totally different room for one. Then for two I paid extra for a city view for and all we saw was a parking garage! Then on top of that the 5th floor! What!? How can you see the city on the 5th foor? We should have been 7 or 8!
Comfortable bed
The location had expensive parking nightly and had to walk by trash dumps and homeless people to get to entrance of parking and to hotel with only one entrance to both. It was a long ally to car.
Great Main St location and very nice staff

The lady that helped with my breakfast was awesome and super nice.
Water pressure wasn’t great for showers.
It was in the heart of Main Street
I wish there had been a pool
Nice and clean,in the city
All good
No complimentary breakfast, elevator didn’t work to parking garage. We had to walk up and down the stairs each time to go to the car. Also paying daily parking.
Location
Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It was very hot in our room. Toilet paper holder was broken. Not enough towels or wash cloths
Very clean, aesthetically pleasing and they had on site convenience store. Rooms are spacious clean and huge bathrooms. Loved our stay.

Breakfast was good, though a little slow on busy mornings. Room was comfortable and climate control worked well.
I don't like being up-charged for everything - breakfast, parking, etc. Access to parking was also inconvenient.
Olivia was amazing. Very knowledgeable

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Mattresses were very comfortable. Room was very clean and had everything we needed; closet for hanging items, iron and ironing board, pull-out table to put snacks and beverages on, little fridge for sodas and a huge tv!

Should have parking included or for a reasonable fee parking at Safeway $20 that is reasonable
My go to hotel when I am in Columbia
Convenient location, comfy bed
High price for what was offered, but this was down to it being graduation weekend for USC and hotel was full with visiting parents
Convenient location. Adequate offering
High price reflecting strong demand for visiting parents for USC graduation ceremony
Très bon rapport qualité prix ; chambre et literie très confortable
Salle de bains un peu petite
Hotel very clean. The room was nice.
I did not like the parking area. You have to walk down an ally. There is garbage dumpster and just strangers hanging in the ally. Just not safe. Then you have to park in a parking garage.
I love the hotel cleanliness and the bar.
The elevator to the parking garage was awful and dirty
nice clean and good location
Clean, great location walkable to restaurants, parking garage next door, staff was great, bar downstairs, price was right.
Window looks into parking garage next door but it wasn’t loud, the price was less than others, and we liked the other aspects so it wasn’t a big factor.
Front desk staff exceptional. Room very cozy.
It was such a nice stay I hate to mention this.. only negative, there was no drinking water in the room because the water temp in sink was lukewarm. I did go get ice late last night and it was fine, but the sink water needs to be colder.
Friendly staff and close to our event
parking garage
Convenient to my business meeting
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
nothing
everything
Loved the night light in the bathroom, having to turn on a bright light during the night is bad, also love the coat hooks.
The parking garage has no pedway to the hotel. You have to go down a dim alley and lots of stinky dirty garbage cans.
Clean organized and friendly
Everything was perfect
The room was comfortable. The staff was pleasant.
I had to walk through a parking garage to a filthy elevator to get to street level. Then I walked through an alley filled with overflowing trash bins. In addition, I had to pay for parking that was supposedly on site
The staff were friendly and it was downtown, near everything.
The parking situation is NOT it. It is not connected to the hotel/owned by the hotel and there is NO valet. It does not feel safe at all and the only reason I would not book here again. A lot of wandering travelers….there is not even a side walk from the parking garage to the hotel…it’s a thru alley to the parking garage/dumpsters and no lighting really. Be advised. I missed these reviews, don’t be me.
Left without breakfast
Checked in after dark and my wife was told she needed to push a luggage cart into the city parking ($14). All lower spaces were either filled or or had a warning sign that it was a valet spot. We finally found a space on the 4th lever by which time my 67 year old wife was exhausted. The room was the smallest I have ever encountered in all my many years of travel. The bath was clean butt the hot water was hard to adjust. I slipped on the shower floor which if I had gone to the floor would have been a disaster since I was recovering from brain surgery. The stay was a disaster and I checked out the next morning, ahead of schedule. Never stay here!!
I liked everything
It was clean
Oh my goodness there was so much noise in the morning around 7 a.m. It almost ruined my stay. I was in bed by 10 after arriving after 8 and the parking garage fee was 15.00 on top of being confusing to follow since you had to enter the hotel at street level
Desk staff were very rude and unprofessional.

المواقف مدفوعه وبعيده من الفندق مما اضطرني ل حمل الحقائب بنفسي المسافه بعيده ولايوجد لوحات ارشاديه من الموقف إلى الفندق
Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel has a fairly nice location, especially if you are attending events at the convention center or visiting other downtown attractions. It is also situated directly next to a police station, which made the area feel safe and secure during our stay. Unfortunately, our main issues began at check-in. We had reserved a two-bedroom room, but when we were given our key and went upstairs, the room only had one bed. We returned to the front desk, explained the issue, and were reassigned to another room—only to find that it also had just one bed. This happened a total of three times before the issue was finally resolved. On the third attempt, we were given the correct room with two beds. While the front desk associate was polite throughout the process, the repeated inconvenience was frustrating and time-consuming. Once we were in the correct room, the experience improved significantly. The room was very clean and well put together. The sheets were fresh, the bathroom was clean, and the room was stocked with basic amenities such as soap, shampoo, and air conditioning. The hotel also has a pool, which is a nice amenity if you’re a swimmer or simply want a place to relax and cool off. The hotel does not have a bar, so adult beverages are not available on-site. However, the complimentary continental breakfast was surprisingly good and offered a solid variety of options. Items ranged from cinnamon rolls to different sausage selections, bacon, eggs, and more. If you’re looking to cut costs, this is a great benefit, as you can skip breakfast elsewhere and eat at the hotel—assuming you wake up early enough. Parking was another challenge during our stay. Some days the parking lot became very full, making it difficult to find space. If you have a larger vehicle, such as a truck or a truck with a trailer, I would strongly recommend arriving early each day to secure a decent parking spot. Our final issue occurred on the last night of our stay. The parking lot was completely full, so we asked a hotel associate on duty whether it was acceptable to park in front of the hotel on the street. We were told that it was fine. However, the next morning when we came down for breakfast, there was a police officer behind our vehicle. That situation was uncomfortable, especially since we had parked there based on guidance from hotel staff. Overall, aside from the room assignment issues and parking complications, the stay itself was decent. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and the breakfast and pool added value. If these issues—particularly the room mix-ups and parking miscommunication—are resolved, this could be a solid place to stay. However, if those problems continue, I would be hesitant to recommend this hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Needing to use a key for the elevator( although I understand why it is needed).

Breakfast was ok. Could do with more variation.
Size of restaurant.Parking.
The location and the room was very comfortable and clean.
There is no direct access from the parking garage and you have to walk down a very sketchy back alley filled with dumpsters and homeless people to get to the hotel. Also the fact that they hid the $100 security deposit all the way at the bottom of the "legals" section and didn't know about it until I arrived.
On Dec 30, I checked into Holiday Inn downtown Columbia for two nights. I went to dinner and came back to holiday inn. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer from the bartender. Olivia poured me a beer and then accused me of opening a beer which I purchased next door. I showed her the beers were still unopened and had a lock cover on the cans. I told her I didn’t open a beer or attempted to open a beer and was reading the label. She continued to accuse me of opening a beer. I firmly and tersely told Olivia I didn’t open a beer. She tabbed me out and said if I said anything else she would kick me out of the hotel. As for the room, we paid extra for a city view which our room had a nice view of the parking structure and an alley. Rooms very small, refrigerator was broken and the room was dirty. I read a lot of reviews after checking in about the poor customer service, small rooms and dirty rooms. I should have read the reviews before booking this hotel. I will check out a day early and lose the money but I will not tolerate disrespect, rude and unprofessional from Olivia. I hope Elie maalouf (CEO) of holiday inn and Jody reads my email.
Perfect location to township auditorium
Parking garage not being attached to the property is rough. The rooms are very small. Also, no free breakfast like majority of holiday inns was a big let down.
Bueno lo que no está incluido
Great value, exceptionally clean, close proximity to restaurants and shops. Great staff.
Liked everything

Location to downtown
The front staff were very disrespectful on the phone and when checking in.
I liked nothing because I didn't stayed. They tried to take extra money from account. Because the funds were not there, my reservation got cancelled. I am soooooooooo highly pissed. Then booking. Com took $108 from my account.😞😞😞😞😞

Central location, room was “clean”
Staff was unprofessional, speaking to us as if we were stupid. We arrived after checkin time and room was not ready until 6:15. We were offered a free drink for the inconvenience but were ignored. Weird odor in room

Ease to find and free street parking, do not pay for parking
I called the property before booking to ask if the restaurant was going to be open on Thanksgiving night. Because I wanted to make sure I could eat when I arrived and they said “yes, it will be open 6-9,” I responded “great, because I want to make sure I can eat after a 10 hour drive on a holiday.” Upon arrival, “the kitchen isn’t open because of the holiday” I asked “where can I get food” response “I don’t know.” Walked around and found Hanabi open thankfully. I had also informed them that I had a registered service dog who I need prior to arrival, which was fine at arrival but in the morning the staff (Tanya) wouldn’t let me in the door after they should have seen us walking and knew we were staying there. When we got in and then tried to order breakfast since the kitchen was finally open, the person would not go near me saying that she is scared of dogs. He lay down and she came to take our order, but tried to tell us we had to take our food to go, because “see the sign” the sign read “only service dogs allowed” I read the sign to her. She told us to move to the other side near the door, which is very upsetting since we shouldn’t be told where we can and can’t sit and then of course when an employee was pounding on the door to get in my dog barked to protect us from someone trying to break in. Then Tanya says “see, that’s why I am scared,” very I told you so attitude. I have MS and it isn’t appreciated every time someone questions me or my dog and treats us negatively. Definitely won’t stay here again since the staff is not trained how to appropriately treat people with service dogs(with disabilities), like everyone else.
Parking is down an alley. Not well lit. A vagrant yelled at me. Very unsafe for females. Definitely not for someone traveling alone!
Parking is $20 extra & you have to walk a distance down a poorly lit alley.
Very clean
Parking was odd. Homeless in the stairwells
Nice location and everything was clean
Had to pay for parking
Bien situado
El aroma de alfombra húmeda en la primera habitación q me asignaron
Easy check in and a great overall experience.
Location
Tiny king room. Cramped, only 1 bedside table and the only chair was a very uncomfortable desk chair.
The check-in that should not be right at the front entrance it's too much confusion too much traffic very uncomfortable.
I didn't like that the checkout desk was at the front door and I didn't like that the bar was at the front door

I didn't like the parking garage. It was hard to get in and out. It was also confusing getting on the elevator to get to the room. Other than that, my stay was good very clean room and location was perfect,
