Clean and organized and it smelled fresh. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional!! Shout out to Mr Wright, Lisa, Dwight and Lashawn. They were all exceptional and made us feel at home. The breakfast, lounge space, room appointments, and the location was a plus. Close to everything, Ft Jackson, downtown etc.

The staff were very nice. Martha was very nice at breakfast. Dwight was also a great help. Everything was very clean. The lobby was very nice to use.

The rooms were very humid. We switched rooms for the second night, and while the humidity level was better in the second room, it was still too humid.

Staff was polite, professional, and great with my kids!! So understanding and willing to do anything to make my stay better however they could.

Clean, pet-accommodating (there’s even a basket of treats for them!) and well-priced. Lobby is a great place to hang out with pool table, games, and lots of comfortable seating. Every employee we encountered was a true delight.

The hot breakfast options weren’t great. My other notes are about the Tru brand - I wish these hotels had bigger rooms/suites available and closets in the rooms.

The breakfast was awesome. The lady that was out there was fantastic.

The room was nice & my name was on the TV when I walked in the door!! OMG the hot water is HOT so taking a NICE hot shower was heavenly!! The breakfast selection was good too!! It’s VERY SECURE!!

It’s EXPENSIVE!! I didn’t like how the shower door in my room didn’t CLOSE all the way so water went EVERYWHERE!! NO microwaves in the rooms but they do have them in the lobby though!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, very responsive. The property is pretty new and looks good. Plenty of no extra charge parking.

The staff was friendly and the rooms and lobby was supper clean. We loved that there were board games for the kids and a pool table for added entertainment. It was in a great location foe the activities we had planned.

The pillows were uncomfortable. They were all too mushy.

Visited Columbia to take my Grands to the River Banks Zoo. The location was excellent, within 5 mins to the zoo, close to Restaurants and shopping. Very clean, Good Breakfast, and Staff was friendly and always available for questions or concerns. Would stay here again.

My room was soo clean. As soon as you got off the elevator you smelled cleaner and febreeze . That let me know that the workers cared about what they were doing. There was one lady at breakfast, I believe her name may have been Evette but I watched her take the time to assist children and adults with the waffle maker. She made sure that the breakfast bar was always fully stocked and clean.

Everything! Everything was clean, quiet. No issues, even for a Friday night. We will stay here again, 10/10.

The customer service was excellent from the moment we walked. My mother fell in love with this place last time we visited and also their shampoo and conditioner (she literally ask for it for Christmas) they gave her a bottle before we left this time and it made her whole day. They also care about the dogs as well. Always welcomes them as if they were human guest. They even have little toys and treats out for them at the front desk. We will always stay here when we visit family in the area!

Love everything about Tru Hotels. They have everything you need at a reasonable price. Everyone is efficient and kind. The rooms offer all amenities including a walk-in shower! We will be recommending Tru Hotels and staying in them ourselves as we travel.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Extremely clean. Comfortable all the amenities I needed was there. And pet friendly! Then out in the lobby they sell drinks, snacks, alcohol, and local fair. The lobby has a pool table, a bunch of comfortable seating and board games. The breakfast was exceptional with hot and cold options. I can’t say enough, how nice the staff are from the hotel clerk to the cleaning crew. Everybody was fantastic. They go out of their way to be very friendly to you. Best paying for your Buck financially…. I’ll give it a five star review.

Every thing was good

It was a nice stay. One of the ladies that worked there was so helpful. I forgot my phone charger and she got one for me to use while I was there. I wish I could remember her name. She went out of her way when she was getting off for the day. I can’t say how much that gesture meant.

they charged me a smoking fee and i didn't smoke in the room. i wanted information from them because i left the room earlier than my check out. i feel the staff went in the room after i left. there were 4 house keepers out side of my room all day Saturday and they saw when i left with all my stuff. i called the hotel and noticed when the answered they phone they knew who i was. dm never called me back left 5 messages. im trying to prove my case because 250 is alot to pay for something i didn't do. they could at least answer the phone. staff, Jessica started being very rude to me. will never stay again.

Clean smelled great

Very disappointed with my experience at Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone. I booked a room using a Friends & Family rate and planned to use my employer’s business card at check-in. The hotel ran the original card on file without my knowledge because they claimed occupancy was high, and when it declined, my reservation was canceled shortly after. I missed a call around 8 PM because it showed as “Potential Spam,” but I immediately called back after receiving the cancellation email. Instead of working with me to resolve the issue, the front desk was rude and told me I would have to pay full price to get the room back. When I expressed that I planned to leave reviews and file complaints about the experience through Google, social media, and TripAdvisor, I was accused of “threatening” the employee, which was completely untrue. I was simply stating my intent to share feedback as a dissatisfied customer. The employee also refused to provide her name and claimed she could not legally give it to me. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and willingness to resolve a simple payment issue was disappointing and not what I expect from a Hilton property.

The property is very nice; well-appointed rooms and comfortable beds. Very well-equipped and easy access to lots of things.

The rate. It seems that the going rate is $115 but because it was graduation weekend the price was four times that.

I loved that the facility was very clean and updated. I also loved the complimentary breakfast that was offered.

I was not too pleased with the staff. They were for the lack of a better word, very nonchalant and not very helpful. I found that they were quite appeasing to certain groups of people over others. Take that how you will, but I was observing the behavior and felt very awkward about the subtle mistreatment or standoffish attitude in comparison to the treatment of others.

Breakfast choices were varied and plentiful. Pancake dispenser may not always work but staff will fix it for you promptly. Coffee/Tea always available. Close to Waffle House and 7/11 with other food close in the area. Very quiet and nicely laid out room. Gym on site and pool table.

A guest tried to set the hotel on fire with a lit cigarette thrown on the mulch by a door. There are cigarette butt trays by most doors, evidently they need to be by all doors as well as a trash bin as all guests are not clean or respectful. Staff did respond quickly once notified, fire extinguisher either was not working or staff did not know how to use it so training and checking needs to be implemented. Luckily there was water close by and another staff member to help....

It was different from typical hotels. Pool table in lobby area is brilliant. I didn’t play but others were playing.

It was a clean hotel. It was surprisingly basic for the price. The room was small and some amenities were sparse, including the breakfast being very basic. It has the Hinton name but they really pared down on what is provided.

Das Personal war sehr höflich und das Zimmer was sehr sauber.

Die Klimaanlage ist eine Katastrophe! Man kann sie nicht ausschalten und nicht regulieren. Es gibt einen Hinweis, dass die Lüftung wegen des Luftaustausches aktiv sein muss. Die Lüftergeschwindigkeit ist jedoch viel zu hoch eingestellt und dadurch auch sehr geräuschintensiv. Ich konnte nur mit Gehörschutz etwas Schlaf finden. Für mich ein Grund dieses Hotel nicht mehr zu buchen. Ich habe in sehr vielen Hotels übernachtet aber dieses Problem habe ich nur noch bei einem weiteren Hotel gehabt. Es gibt bessere Lösungen für die Zwangsbelüftung.
