We were given a top floor harbour facing room, but could not see very well through the windows. The seals are done and humidity has gotten between the panes of glass. Too bad it was a nice room.

Some guests in a neighboring room were being loud in the hallway outside our door around midnight. This was not the fault of the hotel and was only a few minutes of noise. I can't think of any issues dur8ng our visit.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026I didn't eat the breakfast (not a breakfast eater) but the staff were very accommodating in giving me lots of extra coffees and such for my room. The bed was so comfortable -- always is. Firm without being hard and with pillows of different materials and thickness, so you can find what's just right for you. PERFECT at regulating body temperature -- i.e., didn't get too hot even if you sleep in one place all night. The location was perfect for me, and for those who like to stroll to the centre of things (called "uptown" in Saint John) it's literally a 20 minute walk and Saint John now has new pedestrian/bike dedicated lanes from the north end to "uptown".
