Everything you need for a cheap overnight stay. Comfortable, clean convenient
Some features in the bedrooms are a little tired. My room had a weird plug socket system where you had to turn the plug socket on and also flick the light switch above to on for the socket to work
Near Blackpool centre Very quiet
Nothing
When we walked into the Savoy we were greeted by 2 very friendly members of staff and we were checked in very quickly and given key cards to gain access to the toom .The room we were given was superb ,i booked a twin room for 2 of us and we were given a family room ,2 double beds and a single bed ,I asked in advance if we could possibly have a room with a bath and that was given to us with an overhead shower . The room was very spacious with a seating area and the bathroom was spacious too a lovely deep bath with plenty of hot water and the shower was very powerful . The room was light and there were plenty of lights too & plenty of pillows ,and things like tea ,coffee ,sugar ,milk .There was a nice clean newish looking kettle too .The TV was a good size too .The room was lovely and warm too . We weren't worried where our room was in the hotel and as it was we were given a room in the middle looking across to other rooms so the windows were frosted so we had plenty of privacy ,and there were small widows at the top of each window to let fresh air in if needed . The hotel was in a quiet area of blackpool north from the tower has free onsite parking aswell as free on road parking in bays running along the side of the hotel . Free wifi throughout hotel too which was easy to connect too . There is a small lift to all floors can only hold 5 people and not for use if you have large mobility scooters or prams etc . You room isn't cleaned whilst you are staying so if you need anything like tea ,coffee ,milk , toilet roll etc you just ask at reception . There are tram and bus stops right outside the hotel so you don't have to worry about walking or taking your car ,the trams run about every 15 mins ,We were in Blackpool for 5 days so we bought 7 day saver tickets that were £25 each and we could get on and off the trams and buses in Blackpool all day every day . The hotel is an old building and still retains old features inside it really is beautiful .
The Bathroom was a little smelly smelt like BO ,possibly coming from the overflow pipe in the bath . The bed mattresses were a bit lumpy you could feel the springs but it didn't spoil our holiday and we managed to sleep
Nothing. Avoid at all cost
Noel is dirty, cracks around door in bedroom, no house keeping done. Shower was like somebody was spitting on you
The Savoy was perfect for a mid- week stay for a senior couple such as ourselves to enjoy a quiet 3 day break . I enjoyed the breakfast and the service . Our small room was fine. Plenty of hot water . Staff at reception were welcoming . The seafront hotel location is very convenient for trams and bus services . It’s possible to arrive early and leave bags in a safe storeroom at reception .
No real issues or serious complaints . We do not nit pick to find faults . The hotel has ongoing exterior renovations. But it is good to see investment in the building . The outside smoking and vaping area needs a good tidy up . On the 3 rd of my stay I could seem not connect my device to hotel wi-fi . It was fine for first 24 hours .
Bed and spacious room.
Dining was unfortunately on a schedule 6pm no later.
Location and I have a relationship with this particular hotel having worked here when I lived in Blackpool some 35 years ago
It has lost its “sparkle” as once a premium venue. As with many larger hotels in Blackpool it is beginning to show signs of age and disrepair. However it’s ideal for my needs as it’s location is close to where my family live
Amazing staff, very welcoming. This hotel despite having scaffolding and repairs done to extetiria of building everything was spotless. Hard job for housekeeping to keep up with.
There was nothing to not like. Old buildings take alot of up keep. Its was nice to see that this is a priority! Yet still perfectly clean with lovely staff!
Very friendly staff and respectful guests
Cleanliness & value for money
Beds not comfortable, not guaranteed for sleeping as premier inn & Travelodge hotel, in my view I don’t think it’s recommended to my friends & family members
rooms great ,lift is playing ball for a change.
its too far now for walking to town centre so found local shops and restaurants/takeaways which were nice. sunday lunch in savoy was terrible, soup had no stop and one ingredient affair, main dinner roast meat was tough, tatties and veg tough.never tried sweet.
Great location. Bus & tram stops right outside.
Breakfast was OK on the weekend, but they give you fewer choices on weekdays The toilet looked like it had not seen any bleach in weeks; see picture The so-called sea view. Maybe we had one; who knows, you can't see through frosted glass; see picture Mould in places in the bathroom; see pictures Uncovered electrical box had a shock warning on it, so it should have been covered; see picture Floors in poor state & had dirty carpets; see picture Wi-Fi unreliable Rooms are not serviced during your stay The Hotel could be really top-notch & I'm sure it once was, but it's been allowed to run down. Some work is being done on the outside, but it needs to be done inside as well. The door Frame was damaged badly at the top. see photo The door into the room is difficult to close. No mugs or glasses in the bathroom. Extremely overpriced for such poor quality, but if they did the place up, they could add 50% to the price & I doubt if anybody would be unhappy to pay it.
We liked the size of the room. Separate entrance to the bathroom was great. Location was excellent as well.
Nothing.
GOOD TIMES .THANKS

My husband & I had dinner one evening & the waiter brought us our main before we had even finished our starter. I appreciate staff want to get home early when the hotel is quiet but it was a little rude.
Been 4 times always clean tidy, friendly staff and guests
Only complaint shower was tiny
It was false advertising with pictures of a hot tub bathtub in the family room pictures and there wasn’t one. There was dust everywhere and it was not dust from works like they state in the hotel it was like cobweb dust. I won’t be back.
Stayed here a few times and I have always been comfortable
Areas of the hotel could do with updating but it’s such a big place it’s understandable that areas are well worn. Food was a bit of a let down this time compared to previous visits
Better than what I was told
It was all ok.
The room was ready before check in time. With no additional cost. The staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing
Location, free parking, easy accessible tram and bus locations. Food was good with plenty of selection.
The fact that there was no entertainment. Hotel was a bit 'tired' and needs decorating in some area's.
Everything is good really enjoyed our stay food is excellent good choices staff are lovely michelle in the restaurant is so lovely and helpful.. Rooms are excellent ... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The only issue is there was no lunch and no evening entertainment i do understand there was only a few people staying when we stayed
Hotel clean staff pleasant
No entertainment on an evening.
Nice comfortable bed,bar area and seating was nice , nice large telly in room .
Could hear dripping outside my bedroom window, broken gutter pipe ,looked, grubby when looking outside the window, also toilet needed a good clean
Location great close bus tram services close town centre great ho again 😀
No probs hotel
Very poor stay will not be staying there again
Everything
clean and tidy , room door needs attention.
Staff were helpful in finding another room
The first 2 rooms were filthy and not clean and the second room hadn't been cleaned from the other guests. Took us ages to get another room and made us late for our dinner resignation which we missed
Comfortable bed, Decent size room Iron and ironing board Only 1 but a comfy chair
The distance from the lift to our room, as a disabled guest, I asked for a room near to the lift, I couldn't get my scooter into the lift which was small, for a large hotel the 1 lift held 3/4 guests maximum. Buffet breakfast was ok, though with it being a buffet, the food was sitting in grease, there was no bacon, staff said it would be done in another 8 mins,
Public Rooms very nice. Staff very friendly & House Keeping staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Really friendly staff, excellent location.
Pillows are like bricks, rooms are quite noisy, could do with an upgrade.
Not much looked like it had been out to long all dry and somme of it was cold
Breakfast shower not clean grotty around tiles
The room was spacious clean and tidy. All staff were helpful, friendly and happy to help.
Breakfast was a little bit sparce and the bacon was very overcooked.
Breakfast
Bar shut early, rooms in poor condition, homeless people living in hotel
The place was clean and the staff was great we had a family room was good space for 2night stay
The lift was small I had a double pram was a tight squeeze and we was on the 3nd floor around the back so the doors in the hallways was a nightmare with a double person too
nothing
the lock on my door in the first room didn’t work the front doors didn’t get locked and staff were not say on front desk all the time
Breakfast fair accomadation fair
Breakfast was good
Rooms very basic and dated toilet didn’t flush corridors smelled musty Noisy throughout night
The hotel was placed near to a venue we wished to attend, easy access to the trams, which meant we could park the car for the weekend.
Having peeked into other rooms as we checked out, it was clear our room had not quite had the refurbishment like the rest of the hotel. Our carpet was sticky to walk on, the mattress was old and very uncomfortable, the sheets had blood and other dubious stains on, which I took to reception to be changed. The marks and dirty bathroom floor, I cleaned myself, and the toilet did not flush properly. The shower was appalling and the water was so difficult to manage a safe temperature for our 7 year old child.
No comments for this hot there in middle building improvements outside we have no problems hotel what's so ever
Extremely disappointed leaking ceiling in bathroom bird excrement on window .facilties in the room were poor no milk 1 tea bag no coffee
Everything..we paid for a sea veiw but recived a veiw of a scaffolding construction in its place. We want a complete refund
Bar and car park
Scaffolding and workmen from 8.00 am
Location staff
Basic
The hotel the staff the area.
The hotel was quiet and not busy and staff were lovely let us check in a little earlier than 3pm as the room was ready and the family room was a good size
It was either really hot or cold, the door made lots of noise at night despite it being locked, it was very uncomfortable and the window ledges were filthy, the bath made a clunking sound when in use and they are currently having building work completed and builders started work very early in the morning disturbing sleep even more
Staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy.
Aĺl
Nothing
I didn’t have breakfast
Late check in / early departure time
Staff very gud, allowing our earlier arrival for a different room.
The weather lol.
Thanks
Didn't have any breakfast, the location was excellent
When I booked I asked for a Disability Room & Accessible Toilet, the Girlfriend is in a Wheelchair she as Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Severe Arthritis & Lymphedema, & it was a tight squeeze to get her Wheelchair in the Lift & her Wheelchair wouldn't fit through the Bathroom Door
Being generous, it’s in a decent location.
Very tired and dated Needs a total refurbish.
Staff were nice , room was large and clean
Scaffolding outside window (no warning) payed for a Seaview. Food wasn't a good standard. Free parking, if you're lucky you might get a space within 2 streets
Every thing was just lovely well pleased recommend it
Nothing to say was very nice 👍
Location was good, struggle to find parking. When request for parking on the reception they said use pay and display parking we are unable to help.
Mattresses were not comfortable at all. Cheap economy mattresses were installed in the room even used duvet as topper still felt springs.
Peaceful and quiet
Everything was good
We were given a seaview room which had a living room which I wasn't expecting, bed was comfortable and clean, the jacuzzi bath is great after a day of walking, overall it was value for money.
I couldn't find anything I felt let it down, anyone who says it's not the Ritz, I've stayed at the Ritz and wasn't impressed.
Nothing really
Food terrible bar prices extortion no entertainment no parking place outside like a building site food terrible never again
Room size was good Staff friendly
Creaking floor in bedroom was so loud Staff smoking on fire exit stairs outside bedroom Springs popping out mattress Bar little expensive Had to keep slamming room door to shut was all cracked so was my parents room Parents room shower was disgusting
Comfortable bed, good shower, nice sea view, friendly staff on reception and the bar, free parking on site.
Location was a little too far from the town centre. For the price paid for the room, breakfast should have been included. For £12, the buffet style breakfast wasn’t the best value - the coffee tasted cheap and the food (e.g. cereal / eggs / sausage) was sub-standard quality
Staff were helpful
Had to move rooms not acceptable
The pricing was good.
It is very dated, the rooms are very basic. Fire alarms went off at 1:30am in the morning everyone evacuating from their rooms. Quite a walk from the bars

Service
8.5/10Generally praised: numerous mentions of friendly, helpful reception and efficient staff. Some service issues (housekeeping walked in, inconsistent room servicing) but staff friendliness is a consistent positive.
Location
8/10Good for attractions and expected location; family rooms near Pleasure Beach cited as convenient. Some negatives from scaffolding/limited parking but location is overall a positive.
Room Quality
5/10Several guests report tired, dated rooms, small bathrooms, no windows, lumpy mattresses and scaffolding views; a number of rooms described as needing updating.
Amenities
5.6/10Amenities are limited: little or no entertainment (contrary to website claims), one small/slow lift, bar/canteen issues (opening times, cashless bar) and limited housekeeping offerings.

Overall Experience
8.1/10Mixed overall: many guests enjoyed their stay and praised staff/value, but cleanliness, room condition and limited amenities lowered the overall impression.
