Paying extra for parking. Poor policy many of you have employed. I spent enough on the room to be penalized for having a car.

Seemed like a temporary airport sleepover place(and truly it is). A bit dirty, a bit poor maintained and chaotic. Pool's water temperature was comfy, but the floor was extremely slippery, must be super careful to survive)

Hohe Parkgebühren für ein Airport-Hotel mit extrem vielen Parkplätzen. Das Frühstück bietet an sich wenig Wahlmöglichkeiten. Die angebotenen Speisen sind hochkalorische Convenience-Produkte. Gut sind die Eier und die Pancakes mit Obst.

Location was good. Rooms were clean. Breakfast!

Fan and lighting in the washroom should be stronger. Should have a fridge in the room. Parking should not cost extra and should be included when you stay at hotel and especially for two nights.

Bien qu'il fallait si attendre vu la localisation de l'hôtel, le bruit des avions la nuit était constant. J'ai déjà été à d'autres hôtels à proximité et c'était moins pire qu'à cellec-ci.

La propreté des lieux, le service de bar, le restaurant collé à l'hotel, le déjeuner inclus, le confort des chambres, la piscine et la salle de lavage pour les invités.

Pas de borne de recharge pour les véhicules électriques. La connaissance des détails de services de l'hotel par les employés : ils n'étaient pas au courant de la véritable heure de fermeture du restaurant, et le restaurant était fermé quand nous sommes arrivés.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’accueil du personnel, malgré le fait que nous ayons dû changer d’hôtel à cause des feux de forêt. Nous avons reçu bien plus que ce que nous avions réservé et le personnel a vraiment fait tout son possible pour bien nous accommoder. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous avons grandement apprécié leur service.

Ce que j’ai moins apprécié, c’est que l’hôtel était assez loin de tout. Il fallait se déplacer en voiture pour avoir accès aux commerces et aux restaurants.

Free airport shuttle

The room was warm and damp. The bedding and our clothes always felt damp. The carpet was very stained and dirty looking

The front desk staff was fabulous. He went above and beyond accommodating an early check in. We had the complimentary breakfast and let me tell you our server, Mandy was the highlight of my trip. I have never laughed more in my life. I hope everyone gets the pleasure of meeting Mandy.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, amazing breakfast.

Can't actually rate the Holiday Inn because it was commandeered by the government for housing people who had been displaced by wild fires. We were upgraded to a room at the attached Staybridge hotel, which was excellent, but much pricier. So we can't speak of experience at Holiday Inn rooms or service, apart from what we saw in the reception area. We had dinner at the Perkins Restaurant next door. It is a basic family restaurant. The food was not great and the wine selection extremely poor. But if you're wanting breakfast there it has the full range of cooked breakfasts and I would have appreciated a breakfast there even though I didn't enjoy the dinner.

We loved the entire stay. Friendly staff, gorgeous clean room with everything we needed. Included an evening appetizer event; delicious and plentiful food...eating in a comfortable lounge area. Check in and out was simple. Very secure location close enough to downtown Toronto that we used an Uber but also super convenient with a shuttle to the airport. Highly recommend

The enviorment

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

We were listening some weird noises outside our room couple of times. We asked the staff to check if everything’s fine. They checked right away but still we wanted to switch floor/room. But, they were a bit skeptical about that and said that everything is good, must be the kids. But, I expected better customer service and they should have moved our room right away. I thought there will be a breakfast buffet but it was just a meal. So was disappointed with that

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, clean, very friendly staff. They allowed me both an early check-in and a late check-out at no extra charge, which was very appreciated. We also used their free airport shuttle which worked perfectly and on time. On-site full restaurant (where you get your included breakfast too), but also within close walking distance to other food choices (both fast food and sit-down options). Very clean gym & pool. Would definitely stay there again.

Liegt in der Einflugschneisse vom Flughafen. Man kann aber trotzdem gut schlafen.

My deposit fee was charged extra for a second vehicle which I didn’t have and I was double charged for the marketplace

It was very clean, even on a sold out weekend. The front desk was easy to talk to and solved any issues I had quickly. The breakfast vouchers were really convenient, and the food was quite filling. Overall a 10/10.

The complimentary breakfasts, the shuttles had reasonable times, staff was nice, Asian snacks/drinks that were available, and the decor for the event.

Booking doesn't always share the hotel's info. One year, we came in and didn't know you needed to pay as you book. This year, we came in and they needed a 100$ deposit. These things need to be better advertised and communicated. We also didn't have our room attended to for cleaning right away. Took almost 2 days before someone came. We did communicate with the cleaning staff and straightened it out. They were all super nice.

Didn’t stay here. Got relocated and then got charged more for our stay. It put us out as we were further away from the congress center. Ended up paying $60 more. I want a credit. It’s ridiculous.

There is no warning that you have to pay 25 dollars for parking and the lobby was really dirty, fruit snacks on the stairs, just not a great entrance.

The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and fresh. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel has a restaurant on site, and the hotel has a great variety of snacks non alcohol refreshments

Arrived back from Cuba Jan 21 at 2:15 am and had a reservation at holiday inn 600 dixon. Shuttle service on reservation was 24/7 so I phoned and they said no shuttle service until 4am. I was left stranded so I called a taxi to hotel. Complete incompetence...

When I arrived, they first took my info like a normal check in. Then they proceeded to tell me I can’t stay at the hotel for some unclear reason and they will send me elsewhere. I said I was going to have dinner at the adjoined restaurant with friends and the staff member who was helping me said I could stay for that and then they would arrange taxi for me. Another staff member comes up and hears that, and says ‘Well, can’t the friends drive you?’ in quite a rude way. I tell him no they can not, and then ask where they will send me. He just says ‘South’ in a cold tone and walks away. They also wanted to keep my passport and didn’t transfer my breakfast booking to the new hotel and now I had to pay for breakfast again since they wouldn’t pick up the phone to confirm that to the new hotel. Staff could really try to be a bit more kind and helpful.

It was too many people just lurking around my room every time I left out of my hotel room someone was standing by door if I sneezed someone could hear me in the hallway it wasn’t a pleasant experience not going back there….. police were at the hotel every day homeless people stayed in the parking lot and trash was in the parking lot bad.

There were a lot of restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly at the front desk. The room service was nice. I thought we were out of luck using a microwave, but front desk had one delivered to the room.

My only complaints were that there was trouble with the slidig doors when we first got there and also possible miscommunication with the maid service. One of the maids walked in on us. Luckily, it wasn't a big deal.

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. De pendelservice naar de luchthaven is ook erg fijn.

Het water in de badkamer was een beetje lauw en werd niet warmer.

Awesome service after being shafted by Porter Airlines. Special shout to housekeeper Lucy! She made our hellish trip much better! If you get a chance to talk to her, you will see how much of an Angel she is.

Long wait for check in while second clerk acted busy instead of checking people in. Parking was extra $20. Breakfast that I searched for was not included, another $50. My great deal turned out way overpriced

Holiday Inn Toronto-airport East by IHG is quite ok in case a stopover between the flights is required. I've stayed there for 1 night only. Good thing this property provides a free airport shuttle and it takes around 10-15 minutes to get to hotel from Toronto Pearson airport. Many hotels in Canada and the US still offer free of charge transportation, while in Europe in most cases you need to pay for it. Check-in was quick. I've booked a standard room with 2 queen beds. Room was all right but in general that property definitely requires a refurbishment. Breakfast was not included in my rate but there is a Perkins restaurant (diner styled) at that hotel with many meal options available. Pancakes with a syrup were actually pretty tasty. I can rather describe my stay at Holiday Inn Toronto-airport East as neither good, nor bad. It was quite an average experience. But because of a free shuttle option I may stay there again in the future.

Stayed here due to proximity to Pearson. Checkin was easy as well as checkout. Staff was professional and explained the breakfast for guests at the restaurant, as well as parking.

Stayed mid week for a conference for two nights. Was woken both mornings at 5:30am by the garbage truck outside my window, as were all my companions on that side of the building. Room was tired, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, toilet pipe just jutting out of the wall, wallpaper loose over it. Tub plug not working, clothes drawer constantly rolled open. Poor water flow. Staff had no uniforms, just a lack of professionalism. Polite comments to front desk were not well received. Would not stay again.
