I didn't like the way there plates of food in the all the halls and they wasn't very quick to clean the place

Great location for what I needed. Staff particularly the young blonde lady on reception were very kind and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable.

The cleanliness of the room was not up to standards. When I arrived both the coffee mugs were used and had remanence of drinks in them. The coffee station was also pretty empty. There was hair all over the bathroom.

Bed bugs my son had about 8 bites over his legs and back after being in bed, we had to change room about midnight. I did find a flea looking bug and took a photo of that and the bites!

The room was very comfortable.

Nothing - all good. I was charged for parking, but that was immediately deleted.

Receptionist was very helpful, room was clean and spacious for our family, pool was great.

Dinner service was absolutely dreadful. Hardly any tables in but the 3 young staff didn't seem to have any support to manage whatever was going on the kitchen. We had to get our own menus, find cutlery from another table, find someone to take our order. An hour after arriving the adult meals arrived. I asked where the kids meals were and the impression I got was that they hadn't even started. So my kids waited over an hour for their meal. When they did arrive they were very basic cheap stuff which wouldn't have taken long to cook. The staff did apologise and gave us drinks for free , but I had to ask repeatedly to find out what was going on. No sign of a manager. When you have families with children you need to make sure kids meals come out promptly and first. We didn't bother with dessert as kids were exhausted by that point.

It's a nice hotel with lots of space. The bed was comfortable.

The sink in the bathroom was damaged, I think that a room with a damaged sink should not be used till it has been replaced. I also think parking should be included.

The walls are paper thin, I know that’s normal but hard with toddler who was woken up because it sounded like a party next door!

Location was good, common areas nicely kept and staff very helpful. Food was average.

We had a family room, whilst the two double beds were fine, the sofa bed was almost unusable, the mattress was non existent and the springs could be felt through it. All of the pillows were old and lumpy which meant it was difficult to sleep. Bathroom was in dire need of renovation though, fittings from the 90s and heavily used.

Although big and clean, our room was quite dated and the bathroom especially had seen better days. Fine for one night but I would not have been over the moon if making an extended stay. The cost of the room was very reasonable but possibly worth upgrading to a deluxe based on the photos.

Brilliant location for hopping off the M25/M26 (we were headed for the Channel Tunnel). We loved the free kids buffet offered in the restaurant, and the fact that the family room had a bath in the bathroom - with 3 small kids this was excellent. The service from Hannah in the restaurant was brilliant.

It was a bit of a hike up to the 2nd floor with 3 little ones and bags, on various flights of stairs.

Originally in a double room which was comfortable. Unfortunately had to move rooms at 1am due to drunken couple arguing in the room next to us. Staff were fantastic and apologetic in finding another room for us but unfortunately the single bed was extremely uncomfortable for me so only had a couple of hours sleep Also worth noting that parking is £6 for guests

Een goede uitval basis om zuid-oost Engeland te verkennen, en via Sevenoaks met de trein naar Londen te gaan.

De accomodatie heeft geen Laadpalen terwijl Booking aangeeft van wel, dus opletten, er zijn er ook geen in de buurt en je moet voor het laden naar Waitrose(supermarkt) in sevenoaks gaan. Ook is het precies de gewoonte in hotels dat er geen toiletborstel zijn, wat met kinderen soms wel sporen achterlaat die je dan niet kan verwijderen. Voor de rest is het hotel aan de buitenkant aan wat opfrissing toe, zo ook de parking die je 6 Pond / dag kost.

Loved the staff and hotel location. The pool and gym were lovely, very clean and not too busy.

The sofa bed was awful. The staff did provide an extra duvet to make the mattress more bearable, but it was not the heat night's sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights in a comfortable family room with two of our grandsons aged 2 and 5. The temperature outside was 35C but the room had air con and was lovely and cool. All of the staff were friendly and professional from reception, bar, housekeeping and breakfast staff. There was an extensive choice at the buffet breakfast. As a coeliac I was able to request a few breakfast items from the chef which was reassuring. Dinner in the evening was very good, although there were limited gluten free choices, and the kids are able to eat free if adult meals are purchased. The children loved the swimming pool which was a bonus in the hot weather. Please note that there is an £6 daily charge to park in the car park. All in all we had a lovely stay. Thank you so much.

The family room was excellent, with the two double beds and the pull out sofa.

Didn’t like being put on a floor that we had to do 3 sets of stairs with 3 children and two pushchairs due to no lift and thought it was cheeky being charged for parking which looked like there isn’t car park.

Property had super efficient air con which could be adjusted independently in the room. Bed was huge and super comfy. We slept really well. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day really well.

The room (and bathroom in particular) was in need of a refurbishment. Fixtures and fittings were clean, but tired and rather dated. Spa facilities were equally in need of a refresh we felt. Steam room was not working during our stay. Some basic items on the menu were unavailable.

The location was good. Car parking was good.

The room was quite basic, and very bland - not at all cosy, unlike other Holiday Inns that I have stayed in. Breakfast was until 10, but at 9.20 the cooked breakfast was sparse and looking very sad. It also wasn't very hot. There were no coffee cups readily available and when I asked a member of staff for one she knelt down and rummaged around for the last two that were lurking at the back of the very bottom shelf. I could not drink my first cup of coffee from the machine as it had a horrible after taste. I tried for a second cup, using a new cup, and waited whilst the machine was doing a cleansing cycle, however this was just as bad, so I left that too. I don't know if it was the water, or something specific to the coffee machine, because my wife's tea was ok for her.

Super Lage für unsere Reise nach Cornwall. Wir haben gut geschlafen und das Frühstück fanden wir super, es war alles vorhanden. Personal war freundlich und das Familienzimmer ausreichend groß und klimatisiert. Der untere Lobbybereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Bad sollte jedoch wirklich mal renoviert werden, wurde ja schon wohl längere Zeit hier immer wieder angekündigt. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden mit unserem Zwischenstop hier.

The location was great and the facilities were generally good. We had a family room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed which was perfect for our family! It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom - very small, and almost no ventilation which made it very steamy after someone uses the shower. Better ventilation needed. Room lighting - The mirror is on a wall next to the bathroom and there is no lighting close by. Lighting is limited and it was always dark in that area. No lift - this is a big issue for us, as we have a young one who had to climb 2 flights of stairs to our room on the top floor. With luggage and bags to carry, this made it quite cumbersome. Also, thinking about older people and people with mobility difficulties, these stairs are quite a put off. There should be a lift available as an alternative.

Breakfast was lovely, very good. Bedroom was very comfortable.

Our booking wasn't last minute. We really found the stairs hard work. (Room 238 ).We are senior citizens , in our 70s, and not usually complainers. However, we were exhausted and found in future we will be enquiring about a lift before we make a booking. We felt a ground floor room eould have made such a difference to our stay.

Het was best vies. De algemene ruimtes waren vies, er zaten vlekken op de bank, tafel en grond. Er stond vieze vaat in verschillende gangen, de badkamer was verouderd en stonk ontzettend naar riool. Bij het campingbedje zat geen matrasje waardoor onze baby op houten latjes moest slapen. Onacceptabel.

My room was too cold as a result of the Air conditioning, which i switched off immediately, but could not get warm. There were no blankets/throws to use so i asked for a heater which staff kindly brought up immediately. That saved the day. Some biscuits would have been a nice extra, and access to more milk.

The pool was nice and not too small for the kids to play in. The breakfast was nice and felt like more than just the standard breakfasts at hotels usually. The coffee was good, and the staff was so nice and helpful. The lobby was clean and tidy and felt welcoming, and there was AC for these hot summer days. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the pizza was great for the kids, and our meals were nice as well. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

We order breakfast in our room because the long walk to the restaurant was an issue for me with mobility issues but it didn’t arrive at slotted time. We eventually rang down to chase it up after waiting for 30 mins ghey said no record of it but gathered together a breakfast which they bought up to us but forgot thr tea and coffee we had ordered! When asked for it ghey again hurried to get get it and when it arrived neither were drinkable because ghey were both little more than hot milk, so were left !

Bathroom was tired to say ghe least and the toilet was so fitted so low as to be almost impossible to use ! But the towels were soft snd clean as was the bed linen

Wir sind heute ausgecheckt und ich muss sagen, dass das Personal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und professionell war. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Aufzug, aus gesundheitlichen Gründen benötigten wir ein Zimmer Nähe vom Erdgeschoss. Das Team hat es vorab organisiert und hatte das Familienzimmer so toll vorbereitet, die Kinder waren super happy. Der Pool war für uns vollkommen ausreichend . Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und die nette Dame am Empfang hat uns mit Geduld alles zu dem Sytem für Londons Straßen und so Autobahnen erklärt. Sollte das Ziel sein, London zu erkunden würde ich nicht ohne Auto anreisen. Die einstündige Autofahrt war super für die Aktivitäten vorher und nach den vielen Schritten. Parkplätze kann man ganz einfach in der Innenstadt mieten. Frühstück ( unter anderem typisch englisch) war ebenfalls super- uns hat nichts gefehlt obwohl wir kein Schweinefleisch essen. Insgesamt macht die Anlage einen sehr sauberen Eindruck, ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist das Badezimmer. Das ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und war nicht wie alles andere einwandfrei gereinigt. Eins ist klar- Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder- danke für alles liebes Holiday Inn Team .

Over priced and several add ons when we arrived, partly our fault for not wanting breakfast both mornings. We stayed for 2 nights, if we had pre-booked breakfast for both mornings it would have cost £50 extra. However as we only wanted it for one morning we were charged £42. Parking also charged. No lifts to rooms and a rabbit warren on stairs.

The staff were so obliging by giving us a lovely ground floor room, as I had just had a bad fall before we arrived, and couldn't use the stairs. I was so grateful for this. The room had easy chairs, a large and very comfortable bed, and a lovely bath. As I was injured, I appreciated the handles! Also a fridge with cans of water, which was good, as the weather was hot. Very good buffet breakfast in the light and airy dining room. Being just off the motorway, the hotel is in an ideal position for travellers.

We didn't like the all day menu at all. There were few gluten free options, and although one lunch was fine, other menu choices were disappointing, to say the least. But this didn't spoil our most enjoyable stay, as we were mostly eating out with family.

It had a fitness centre (apparently).

I wasn’t allowed to use it. The 9pm cut off entry was set in stone, despite the gym being open until 10pm. There is no good reason for this - my health and safety was given as one non-reason, but even the woman telling me agreed that was absurd. As the fitness centre was the only reason for choosing the hotel, I find this level of petty-mindedness infuriating, especially when there are posters saying well do anything we can to make your stay 100% successful.

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen, Autobahn war hörbar, Fenster alt, daher kaum vernünftig zu schließen.

Ausser den unten aufgeführten infos, war der Aufenthalt so wie wir es von holiday inn gewohnt sind gut.

Das Frühstück war für meine Frau unzureichend. Sie wollte etwas Glutenfreies zum Frühstück, es war aber nichts vorhanden, obwohl wir per Mail als auch bei der Ankunft nachgefragt haben und mit 8:00 Uhr morgens war es ja nun zu spät. Die einzige Kaffeemaschine, war dann auch noch ausgefallen, konnte aber repariert werden. Der Rest war in Ordnung, so wie wir es holiday inn gewohnt sind gut.

FOOD!!! we had dinner on our first night stay limited Menu I had the pie and mash couldn't eat it awful my wife had the Fish and chips Fish smelt strong my wife ate it and was sick afterwards, My son had pizza and fries off the children's menu 2x little au bite size pizza,s and a few fries not even cooked properly. Breakfast!! First day we got in early food was there but average to poor second morning was a total shambles everybody queuing waiting for the slop jockey to bring out the food one item at a time was,nt worth waiting for I waited nearly 20 minutes for some scrambled eggs that arrived cold I ended up with a couple of mouthful,s of egg and a piece of bacon followed by a trip to McDonald's on our way out!!. Our last trip we stayed at Holiday Inn was Birmingham it was exceptional that is why we booked don't expect the same standards at Maidstone. Won't be booking again. Save Money book Premier Inn up the road and have Dinner at Mings Chinese absolutely fabulous.

Hotel agradable y tranquilo donde disfrutamos de la piscina y el jacuzzi.

Reservamos una habitación con cama doble y nos dieron una habitación con dos camas individuales. Cuando pedimos un cambio en recepción, nos dijeron que el hotel estaba lleno sin ofrecernos ninguna otra opción. La excusa fue un fallo informático y no del hotel… inaceptable! La relación calidad-precio del desayuno es mala, no hay mucha variedad.
