Nothing at all
Very old facilities, the bedroom was so dirty, cheap pillows and one thin bedsheet to cover the mattress, not even a mattress protection it had and the bathroom ... Cracked tiles and toilet seat. A very unpleasant experience, nothing like the photos, the hotel is too old, the breakfast is very simple and with cheap food quality as options. The worst coffee I even tried to drink served in the bedroom and breakfast. Might be ideal only for retired people as the hotel seems to have events across the year for them. Like all the reviews, no shampoo or shower gel. The dirty is seen everywhere in the carpets , corridors, lift. I do not recommend
Location. Breakfast buffet.
Decor needs updating. No window / natural light in my room.
The building was soo tired, dated, grubby, but linen, room was clean enough
Good value for money
Location
Room was not great, was not told there was a music weekend at hotel
The location was good. The room was a good size. Breakfast was very good.
It needs updating, the room was very dated and the carpets in the hallways were threadbare in places.

Nothing.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Some of the rooms don't even have windows! The carpets and walls are in a horrific state. Not just threadbare and worn, but horribly stained and soiled. Unfortunately I left an item behind in my room, which I thought would be a simple matter of a quick phone call to resolve then pop by and collect it. Eight phone calls and 4 days later, having been left on hold or fobbed off, I finally spoke to someone who informed me that they hadn't found anything. When I mentioned the item was tagged and I could see it in the hotel still, they promised to do something tomorrow morning. My property has now mysteriously moved to a nearby address! I'll keep you updated!
Breakfast was not the best found other local place to eat. This was a revisit to this hotel and found it has really ruined all my previous experience. Going back a few years this was my weekly accommodation Sunday to Friday for over a year while working in Bournemouth, the hotel and it's facilities needs major refurbishment, we will not be staying here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Also in the past we had family holidays here.
Sadly we didn't like anything, the lifts was out of order, the staircase dirty with your shoes sticking to the carpets. Entering the room was very disgusting, wallpaper off the walls, paint peeling off, my wife didn't use the bath or shower or walk around without anything on her feet. Staff didn't engage with you and reception area not the friendliness. We're planning more trips to Bournemouth and surrounding areas whilst visiting English Heritage sites but will not be staying at Carrington House Hotel and ensuring none of our friends book this place.
Entertainment
Had a very bad experience with drunk men or on drugs one night till 4am in the morning shouting, stomping ,arguing, I am 74 and was very frightened, left one day earlier,as could not stand another night.,in the hotel ,no phone in room to call reception. Staff said different prices regarding food in hotel.
The beds were very hard and pillows were a bit to soft. But overall a nice stay and the breakfast was lovely.
The beds.
I like the location.
Lack of air conditioning, some staff were rude.
Everything was perfect
They tell you that you can have a locker for your suitcase you pay £5 and then you see that you can only fit your backpack in it not your suitcase ao don't waist your money on that
Good variety of food. Good value food. Suitable for children. Rooms big enough for family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Porter brought up travel cot and set it up for us.
Rooms were clean but very dated. Shower good temperature but poor pressure. Swimming pool very cold, too cold for children and tiles were slippy.
Helen on reception when I arrived was so helpful and understanding of my silly situation .
chose to check out early 01:30. Male receptionist, I handed over my access cards. I was then very aggressively. Rude and totally unprofessional. spoken too from another Male staff member. I explaind i was a guest but checking out. He still continued to be nasty. I was stood at the reception desk as a single female at 01:30. AS A PAID GUEST.. I feel had i not been leaving the man would have continued verbal abuse and possibly violence. My pre ordered taxi waiting outside witnessed/ heard me using not kind words to that member of staff. I was in shock and scared but knew I was leaving. I spoke too Diana today. I was assured I would hear from a manager. To no avail. 🤔
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Lift was not working. Dinner menu needs more imagination.
Good location for where we needed to be
The breakfast room was really badly organised. It was a very stressful experience and very over priced for what you got. The whole self service needs to be redesigned.
Quiet clean had tv and en-suite - what i needed for an unexpected stop over
this is picky, parking gets filled quickly. not enough tea and coffee portions but really that me being picky

It was ok just wanted somewhere to sleep and have breakfast as didn’t want to drive 4 hours to get home during night.
Nothing it served the purpose we needed
"Great value for money! The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were super friendly, and it’s an easy 10-minute walk into the town centre."
It met all my expectations. Summer is over. I had to drive home...
Staff were lovely
should have picked a better room bed and pillows a bit hard but hotel had everything 😴
Nothing.
Room with no windows which would have been fine if there was air conditioning - but none. Just a tiny fan that circulated the same hot air around. Room was dirty. Cleaner barged into the room 5 minutes before checkout time and started yelling at us for not being out.
Near thevtown n beach
My room is located just beside the lobby with night singing- noicy n not suitable to stay.as you need to go through the lobby to get to your room.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Faceas on wall near window, TV not working broken furniture draws difficult to open
We had a heavy flight delay, so the fact that they have a 24hrs reception was really a blessing!
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable.
Location
Room 401 avoid like the plague unless you want to be cooked
Peace and quiet and car park space
Floor was very noisy and cracked tiles
Staff were very helpful. Lovely walk to the beach from the hotel. Bar was well stocked. Good access to bus root from hotel.
Room could have done with painting. Mattress was rather uncomfortable.
The last minute reservation acceptance.
Rather dated with well worn out carpets. A couple of the staff weren't polite. The TV was too small.
The room I was in was much cleaner this time and staff friendly.
Standard
The staff where lovely
Generally hygiene was shocking mold in the bathrooms cobwebs everywhere dust on all surfaces and the swimming pool is a health and safety risk the floors where slimy with mildew and green algae growing on the swimming pool walls there is a safety bar all around the pool which in most parts falls off when touched the floors in the games room are feral this place should be closed down for a deep clean I could go on but it’s the same story around the whole place
Large well staffed reception desk
Parking ,hardly any
Grand hotel feel, great onsite facilities, friendly staff.
Limited parking on site and the street parking fills quickly. Not very close to any bars or restaurants but the onsite bar is ok. I chose the wrong room... cheapest without a window..big mistake..it's a stuffy hotbox.
Good location, value for money.
No aircon in rooms, only one window opens, provided me with a fan that was broken.
Room is spacious and tidy. tiolet is clean. Just carpet in teh corridor that is tired. But excellent place and layout so beautiful. Dining secition and meals are delicious and well served with attentive staff. i will go back there. Very moderate and more than i expected for my price.
Nothing so serious given the amount i paid.
For the location and cheap price can’t complain
Swimming pool wss a tad tad cold
Brilliant room great staff and will always use when in this area. Really good value for money. !!!
Nothing specific.
Good food, nice starf
No water prussure
The staff were amazing
Bed was uncomfortable and hotel was tired
The bar area was good and breakfast was superb
From the lobby to room the decor and the carpets were disgusting will definitely not be staying there again
I like that my daughter could stay for free.
Old deco needs modernising. No lamp in the room and the one on the bed side didn’t work. Quite noisy in the corridor at night. Parking at the hotel was full as well.
Fresh air and the Bath was very good
I got bites alot down to tree pine bugs which was unfortunate but other than that was really good.
Location nice size room all facilities you need friendly staff
The bed and pillows to hard . Very uncomfortable sleep both myself and partner struggled with bed and pillows
only a 15min walk away from Boscombe pier and the train station. Great location. Nice clean room and facilities.
At least the room was comfortable and clean.
To be honest, the room was comfortable and clean, though I didn't care for the hotel hallways; they were dirty and gave the impression that everything was old. As for the included breakfast, it honestly leaves a lot to be desired; I feel they should put more effort into it and be more creative, since you expect something nutritious and tasty to start the day.
nothing
the onsuite was disgusting it was dirty n water stains on the ceiling tiles, the bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor, it was so uncomfortable me and my partner only had a 1hrs sleep all night, so i would never recommend or stay there ever again, if i had my way i would of demanded a refund because it was so awful and disgusting
Music for live😁
Leaving
Swimming pool wasnt opened. Breakfast was cold and poor quality
My room was spacious and there was plenty of shelf space in the bathroom. There was plenty of lighting in the room and every light worked, which isn't always the case even in smarter places. The buffet breakfast was kept well topped up, despite the room being busy. All the makings of a traditional cooked breakfast were there, not much in the way of alternatives, but most people seemed very happy with it. The hotel is generally dated and a bit tired-looking but is being run efficiently and I enjoyed my stay. It is on a quiet street and within walking distance of the railway station and of Boscombe pier and beach.
My room was on the first floor and for some reason very hot, despite not getting any sun and there not being a heat wave. I think maybe hot water pipes run under the floor? It was possible to get used to it though and I slept OK.
Its a very rundown place. Very old and dated. Moulded bathroom and shower curtains. No AC and broken small table Fan for 4 people in one room
Friendly staff.
Dirty sheets, filthy carpets. Needs a major refurbishment. No duvets in room.
We liked the fact that the room had a balcony, extra bonus.
The car park facilities
Nothing asides from the breakfast. The stay did not meet a reasonable standard of comfort or customer service.
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff were rude, unhelpful and showed a very poor attitude towards customer service. At one point, after repeatedly calling reception without getting the help I needed, I became so frustrated that I had to go downstairs personally just to ask for the bin to be emptied and replaced and for the room to be serviced. Instead of arranging proper room service, the lady at reception told me she would give me a bin bag and that I should take my rubbish out myself and leave it in the passage. I was shocked, but even more surprised when I later noticed that some other guests had actually left their rubbish bags in the corridor, which suggests this may be treated as normal practice there. The carpets throughout the hotel were old, worn and had a very unpleasant smell, making the whole place feel poorly maintained. The hotel was also not disability-friendly, and the general standard of customer care was extremely poor. The way some staff spoke to and dealt with guests was unacceptable. I genuinely feel the relevant hotel regulatory or inspection body should visit this property and assess its standards. I regret not checking the reviews properly before booking, because having now seen the overall rating, I understand why it is so low. Unfortunately, my experience only adds to those negative reviews.
I ordered a double bed and got a single bed. Call park was Rory full couldn't park it even though I told you broken.com arm guy and buy a car, there's no car parked spaces, so I'd park somewhere else.
Very run down hotel. Staff ok but not well trained. Did not give directions to rooms etc. Staff were unsure of where facilities etc where tea coffee were located etc. Poole clean but needs modernisation.
Jestem mile zaskoczony pisali mi źle ale było fajnie
The room was basic, and very hot due to hot water pipes running under the floor boards, no air conditioning at all, just an open window and a small fan when you went to use the toilet, when you stood on the tiles on the floor, you burnt your feet due to tiles being so hot, Breakfast was basic, fried eggs everyday, were rock hard and so were the sausages, the bed in room was acceptable.
We stayed bed and breakfast and evening meal, like I have said, the breakfast was very average and the evening dinner was not good at all, food was warm and very basic, even the evening entertainment took the micky out it, plus so many people were complaining amongst each other. Also there was some very strange characters hanging around the hotel, came back to hotel after being for a walk and a young man was outside totally out of his head and high as a kite. He just looked at me and my partner as we walked into hotel and just said, F*** Off. Not good at all.
Location, value for money.
Room allocated without enough ventilation for family and no air conditioning or temperature maintenance causing difficult to sleep in hot temperature.
Free parking
They gave me a room on the ground floor that was right by the entrance to the other hallways, very noisy. Loud music heard kids running up-and-down all night.\n Holding the curtain and a big flood light outside and curtains didn't fit. What happens with passion and expertise? Bed was really uncomfortable.
Very nice and convenient
Plz next time provide small freezes in the room so we can keep drinks and milks over there.
Friendly staff. Nice location
Very basic and pricey. Matress was very uncomfortable. Our room didn’t get cleaned daily.
Good location. Breakfast was excellent, although had to ask for more items.
Building was in poor condition. Carpets had many bald patches, and bathroom was in even worse condition. Not value for the money paid, in my opinion. Won't be booking there again. Disappointed.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast, great entertainment on the Saturday night. Large spacious family room.
Shower was not working but the manager was very helpful and changed our room. He was very accommodating.
