I went back to the lobby and asked for another room. I was told one was available but it was being cleaned and would be ready by the usual check in time of 4pm (we arrived around 1pm). We were told we’d be given the upgraded room at no extra charge since we were celebrating our anniversary. We checked back with the front desk around 4:30pm and it was ready. The room was a lot nicer, bigger and also had a balcony facing the garden area. We enjoyed our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we hardly ever heard those in neighboring rooms. The staff were great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I’d like to give a shout-out to Gerry on the beach and Mickey at the pool bar, who were exceptional. The grounds were nice and clean. Overall, it was a nice stay and the hotel is very convenient to shopping, stores and restaurants.

Upon checking in and viewing the available room, we determined it was not suitable, as there was a view out the windows of another building being constructed, with graffiti on it. Also, the vent by the front door was leaking water on the floor. The rooms are a bit dated and need some upgrading, paint chipping, cracks in the tiles and bathtub area. The vents were dripping condensation in the new room too especially when we had it on lower temps so that seems to be a common thing. Also, the TV in the bedroom had white dots burned into the LED screen. We told the front desk and they sent an engineer to look at it but he couldn’t do anything about it. The TV just needs to be replaced. The outlets need to be updated, they all had slow charging ports and the sockets would fall out of them easily. I also wish the restaurant in the hotel stayed open later, they were only open until 3pm, at which time they switched to room service until 11:30pm. Or you could order food along with drinks at the bar area until around 6pm-7pm, depending on how busy they were and long they stayed open. The smoking area was in the garden, right next to the pool which sometimes if you were in the pool area, you could smell it and we also saw some who were vaping in the pool area too, which was annoying especially for me since I have asthma. Upon checking out, I was given my folio which had an incorrect charge for vehicle parking. We did not have a vehicle during this trip. I told the front desk representative and showed her the receipt for the first day when my brother dropped us off, which he stayed for less than 3 hours and I had paid the rate stated for under 4 hours, which was $27. She took the charge off. The paint in the hallways is very dark, could use something brighter.

It is modern and with plenty of beautiful artwork throughout the property. The staff was the nicest most helpful ever.

Posizione top, pulizia impeccabile e servizi eccezionali! Ho apprezzato davvero tantissimo il mio soggiorno in questo hotel. La posizione è fantastica: proprio di fronte alla spiaggia e, appena si esce dall’ingresso principale sulla Collins Avenue, si trova davvero tutto a portata di mano. L’hotel è molto pulito e ho apprezzato particolarmente i servizi offerti. C’è acqua potabile gratuita a disposizione degli ospiti, sia tramite gli erogatori sia nella lobby e in piscina, dove viene servita in bellissimi recipienti con limone: un dettaglio semplice ma davvero piacevole. La piscina è molto bella e sono disponibili gratuitamente anche i teli. La spiaggia si trova proprio di fronte all’hotel ed è comodissima, con lettini e asciugamani inclusi gratuitamente. Anche il cibo era abbastanza buono. Da buona napoletana, ammetto che per me non è sempre facile trovare qualcosa che mi soddisfi, ma qui ho mangiato bene e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa. Inoltre, la posizione permette di avere tutto vicino: ristoranti, negozi e servizi sono facilmente raggiungibili. Nel complesso ho apprezzato davvero molto la mia vacanza, che è stata piacevole e rilassante. Consiglio sicuramente questo hotel e ci tornerei volentieri!

A estrutura do hotel é maravilhosa, nossa suite era muito espaçosa com quarto e sala, a localização é perfeita próxima a Lincoln Rd, o hotel é pé na areia, bom custo benefício, funcionários muito atenciosos, gostaria de agradecer aos funcionários Luis, Isabela e Melody que foram muito prestativos. Foi minha 4a vez neste hotel, e voltarei mais vezes!

Every year, coming back here feels like coming home. Everything is simply wonderful: the people, the service, and the atmosphere. We always feel so warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. Every time it's time to leave, our hearts ache, but the thought of returning the following year makes saying goodbye a little easier. A special thank you to Melvin, Sheilly, and Melody for their kindness and sweet nature. They are truly wonderful people who made our stay even more special. We would also like to thank Vito and Miki for their friendliness, courtesy, and excellent service at the pool bar. They always welcomed us with a smile and made every moment even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back next year! ❤️

Location was perfect for South Beach. Loved the art throughout and the beach access. The room and bathroom was decent and clean, though there was an iron burn on the bench.

The cost of everything including being beach umbrella being $40 extra. The least they could do for the cost of your stay was include an umbrella. Drink prices are sky high. We also were offered an upgrade to a pool view room which we paid for but there was no pool view. When we checked out I mentioned that and they said it was a garden view. I showed them the email I was sent that read "POOL VIEW" and they said, oh, we'll fix that for next time. That should have been addressed right then and there, esp since we paid for the upgrade but instead they offered a drink coupon. To me, that's poor customer service and should've been addressed immediately by refunding us the upgrade price.

La atencion de llegada no fue tan buena.. Lo que parece como kichtenaid en bungalow no es tal, solo tiene cafetera ni microondas tiene... La pileta es chiquita y media sucia... El servicio de playa con cobro es ridiculo.. porque no lo ponen en el precio?

O quarto não era uma kitchenette conforme anunciado. Não possuía fogão, pratos ou talheres. Estava com uma bebê pequena e isso foi um transtorno. Todo serviço de praia - cadeiras, guarda-sol - eram pagos separadamente. O quarto não era muito limpo, e portas caindo.

Una experiencia lamentable. No entendemos cómo este hotel puede anunciarse como un 4 estrellas. Nuestra estancia en el Sagamore Hotel South Beach fue francamente desastrosa. El hotel que encontramos no se correspondía en absoluto con la categoría anunciada. La habitación estaba extremadamente envejecida y descuidada. Mobiliario viejo y deteriorado, colchón muy desgastado, puertas que chirriaban, falta evidente de mantenimiento y, además, problemas de limpieza. La sensación general era la de estar en un establecimiento al que le hace falta una reforma profunda desde hace años y una limpieza. Las fotografías que vimos en Booking no reflejaban fielmente el estado real de la habitación que recibimos. La diferencia entre lo que se muestra al realizar la reserva y lo que encontramos al llegar nos pareció exagerada. El hotel no está en condiciones de alquilarse. Quieren aparentar un hotel boutique con decoración artística, pero lo cierto es que es una hotel muy muy viejo, con cuadros colgados. Reservamos expresamente para 3 adultos y un niño. Para uno de los adultos y el niño se suponía que debíamos utilizar un sofá cama diminuto, en el que prácticamente no cabía ni una persona cómodamente, mucho menos un adulto y un niño. Nos parece inadmisible comercializar una habitación para cuatro personas si después no existen unas condiciones razonables para que esas cuatro personas puedan dormir. El aire acondicionado merece una mención aparte: hacía un ruido espantoso. Era tan fuerte que resultaba imposible dormir con él encendido. En Miami, terminamos teniendo que pasar toda la noche con el aire acondicionado apagado simplemente porque el ruido era insoportable. Pero si el estado de la habitación fue malo, el trato que recibimos al quejarnos fue todavía peor. Cuando explicamos todos estos problemas, la respuesta que recibimos fue, básicamente, que si no nos gustaba, podíamos irnos. Eran casi las doce de la noche y estábamos viajando con un niño pequeño.

Camera King in upgrade, vecchia, con vista su cassonetti spazzatura, cin cindizionatore che perdeva acqua e che bagnava l'entrata. Niente postate nella cucina. Piscina piccola. Vallet molto maleducati (la signorina mi ha contestatoin modo sgarbato e a torto l'orario di ritiro dell'auto). Molto male.

Overall Rating: 8/10 Beautiful art gallery entry and great suite, but dreary hallways. First impressions in the lobby were wonderful—the hotel functions as a gorgeous art gallery, and the artwork throughout the main entry is stunning. However, the contrast once you head to the rooms is jarring. The elevators are small and slow, and the dark gray, low-lit hallways feel uninviting for an upscale hotel. Thankfully, the room itself was excellent! It felt like a full apartment (minus a stove) with an L-shaped couch, a pseudo-kitchenette with a microwave and sink, a very nice bathroom, and a wonderful, huge king bed in a separate bedroom. Our 5th-floor room faced an adjacent building not ideal since there was no view. Overall, at $1,350 for five nights, having a spacious suite with direct beach access and a fantastic pool right on Collins Avenue was a great value. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel offers bicycles free for 2 hours daily. We enjoyed the bicycling, there's so much to see and do.

The beach is very clean and just a short walk over the boardwalk on the beach from the hotel. The beach wasn’t crowded and the water was exceptionally clean as well. Gerry took care of me on the beach. He was very attentive and kind. Made sure I was set up nicely. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Sagamore Hotel pool. The setting was beautiful and peaceful—the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Miami atmosphere. A very special mention goes to Warren, the pool attendant, who truly made our experience stand out. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His warm and welcoming attitude made us feel genuinely well looked after. Thank you, Warren, for your excellent service and hospitality. You made our time at the pool even more memorable!

I bought a Resort Pass to this hotel pool because my hotel pool was not open and let me tell you when this Miami Heat that’s what you gotta do! This pool with the bar and the atmosphere and the art is so nice and it’s very affordable and I appreciate that and they have a great happy hour from 4 to 7 so if you can’t find a way to cool off, come to the Sagamore hotel and come to the Lido pool. It is fabulous.!

It has a great location in Miami Beach, close to many restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also right in front of the ocean, which is a big plus. Additionally, it is very close to the Miami Beach Convention Center, making it especially convenient if you are visiting for an event or exhibition.

It doesn't have any restaurant. The breakfast is very expensive and slow.

Sagamore is a good hotel quite calm and well located, the hotel facilities (rooms, lobby, swimming pool area) are nice and well maintained. But over the top, it is more than a hotel, it is a home away from home, thanks to the lovely peoples working there (Melody, Melania, the bar tender etc...) they are professional and very kind. I recommend and, for sure I will come back!

The rooms and furniture are outdated. A piece of material fell from the bathroom window, exposing rust and build up dirt.

What a great stay at this place, loved every moment with the family in the pool, doing the complimentary bike ride around south beach, the food in the restaurant and just the little things like being greeted by Delroy and his beaming smile every day. Can’t wait to come back next year :)

If location matters the most to you then this hotel is one of the best. It has indeed a vintage charm and aura. The suite was big enough. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and the access to the hotel. The minuses were the dated bathroom, the frosted glass sliding doors that were difficult to open and close and provided zero privacy. It was also noisy due to the aircondition. There is only one elevator that sometimes could not service many people . The valet car service also sometimes took ages to bring the car but that is mainly because of the location.The room was kept very clean. We usually stay near Fort Lauderdale or near Aventura but this time we wanted to experience South beach. So again, if location is your goal this hotel is very satisfying.

Service was great! Delroy and the beach team were absolutely GREAT every single day. They were friendly, attentive, and consistently made our stay enjoyable. Room for improvement: We stayed on the 5th floor, and getting to the room was a bit inconvenient. We had to walk a long hallway and then take a flight of stairs. Since the other elevator was not working during our stay, we also had to carry our luggage up the stairs, which was especially challenging. Unfortunately, we also found a cockroach in the bedroom. The staff responded quickly and cleaned the area, which we appreciated, but it was still not the impression we expected from a hotel considered one of the top options in Miami Beach. On the positive side, we really enjoyed the beautiful Art Deco design in the lobby. Overall, the service and staff were excellent, but the elevator and cleanliness issues are areas that could definitely be improved.

Esas reposeras tan bonitas y esos apartados que ves en la foto no se pueden utilizar sin pagar 200 usd y en la playa igual y las sombrillas también. Te dan servicio de reposeras comunes pero lo que ves en la foto y pensas que podes disfrutar lamentablemente es pago y eso no lo informan cuando reservas la habitación

Eu escolhi esse hotel pelo critério praia. Eu vou cedo a praia e volto cedo também, Cheguei as 8h com o sol já queimando de tão quente e fui surpreendida com a informação de que só inicia os serviços de praia as 09h30. No entanto, os demais hotéis (com exceção de um) estavam prontos as 8h. Também na minha fatura tinha um valor enorme de taxa de resort que eu não entendi pois o que tinha la era apenas uma piscina com muitas cadeiras, mas isso é coisa que todo hotel tem e não se paga por isso. O serviço de praia estava incluído no pacote no entanto o guarda sol era pago a parte. Além disso, o rapaz que trabalha na praia é muito mal humorado, Não tinha um pingo de gentileza ou interesse em tratar bem. Serviço de praia deste hotel ficou muito a desejar. Assim, o meu principal objetivo nesse hotel ficou bem prejudicado. As poucas vezes que fui a praia fui as 8h e as 10h já estava de volta, sentada no chão. No primeiro dia eram 11h da manhã quando ele foi buscar toalhas para os que estavam na praia.

O que é um absurdo pois já pagamos taxa de "resort". Algo muito simples que gera negativa desnecessária.

Nije mi se svidjelo sto do novijeg dijela zgrade ima stepenice i ne mozete nikako doci do tamo osim da kofere ne nosite kroz 2 para stepenica. Lift do soba ima, ali da bi dosli do soba morate ici niz stepenice. Nije ugodno s koferima. Takoder, bazen je malo prljav i pun dlaka od kose.

Un hôtel bien placé mais qui vieillit. J’ai trouvé que les alentours de la piscine étaient sales et mal entretenus. Même les vélos sont à moitié cassés . Les chambres sont grandes mais ont besoin de rénovation. Attention, certes chambres donnent directement sur un mur, on se croirait en prison. Heureusement, nous avons eu une chambre avec une belle vue sur l’océan .

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand von South Beach, mit schönem Poolbereich. Man kann für zwei Stunden Fahrräder ausleihen und den Ocean Drive erkunden. Das haben wir gemacht und war wirklich toll! Das Zimmer war riesig und hatte sogar eine Küche mit Bartheke. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Dunkle Gänge in unserem Stockwerk und es wird renoviert/gearbeitet. Hat uns nicht gestört, aber erklärt den guten Preis für so ein schönes Hotel in dieser tollen Lage.

Rooms could be better maintained: safe was not working and had a broken drawer. No cupboard to store our clothes during the stay (only a few hangers…) We received a non renovated room and the staff did not respond appropriately to our disappointment: only offered late check out and a drink voucher.

Atención en front desk , pagamos para tres adultos y en la habitación había dos sillas , dos tazas, dos vasos, dos camas . “Tienen todo contado” dijeron, así que teníamos que comer parados y tuvimos que comprar cubiertos y platos descartables. Los empleados argentinos atienden mal, el del restaurante hasta me negó agua caliente para mate. Los empleados de la playa , algunos muy mala atención, me tiraban las toallas en la reposera y cobraban 48u$ x día para sombrilla. Me compré una en fivebelow a 40u$.

I was with my family on vacation with my family! Everything went very well! The location was fantastic, just walking distance from the Lincoln Road, many restaurants and entertainment for the whole family. The hotel was clean, the rooms and all the facilities! The staff were just superb, always kind and ready to help, an especial thanks to Ariel who made the stay enjoyable and pleasant. I definitely recommend the hotel.

We had a great experience at the Sagamore! We’re a family of 4 with two young children (2 & 4) and sometimes hotels aren’t the best fit for us but this was different. The staff were kind and helpful. Jamal & Mickey especially made our stay memorable. They made sure we always had extra towels and a spot in the shade with the kids. We also had great conversations and interaction with staff and visitors. It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel, even for a family like ours. Cant wait to come back! Shoutout to my guy Jamal. If you like hoops, that man knows ball and was fun to talk with about it.

Such a cute hotel/resort!! my girlfriends and I got a day pass on resortpass for a cabana that came with a free bottle of champagne and service!! It also came with use of their bikes to ride around for 2hrs! Mickey was AMAZING!! Such a sweet guy and provided us with great service! He’s very personable and took the time to get to know us and we learned a little about him as well!! He also makes great drinks so shoutout to Mickey!!

La atención de Ariel el encargado del resto y 1 recepcionista.. después todo mal

Pague la habitación más cara.. que está ubicada en el piso 6 y no se puede acceder por ascensor lo cual tenes que subir 1 piso por escaleras una locura, los aires acondicionados funcionaron mal toda mi estadía, no te dan sombrilla para la playa(salvo q pagues). Cuando otros hoteles te la incluyen con las 2 sillas de playa. No soy de criticar hoteles pero este me decepcionó mucho mucho en su precio calidad
