Un hôtel parfait. Tout le personnel est sympathique, dès l’accueil jusqu’au départ, ils nous ont bien conseillé et aidé pendant le séjour. Les chambres sont spacieuse et très confortable, le lit est super, la douche également. L’isolation est parfaite, on est au calme et aucun bruit extérieur est entendu. Le petit déjeuner est très complet, il permet de manger salé et sucré, avec une grande variété, et des bonnes boissons. La terrasse avec la piscine est jolie, le grand + est le sauna ! Il est très grand.

Le seul point négatif est la lumière d’urgence dans la chambre, elle est assez forte et garde le chambre éclairé pendant la nuit.

Nothing. The hotel bathroom is old and not clean, poorly placed and very bad staff. One of the worst. I had to move to another hotel and lost 2 paid days.

Very noisy I was on the 15th floor. People were shouting and screening and ringing bells all night. We called the receptionist 3 times and nothing has been done. We could not sleep. The second morning they wanted to change our room rather than notifying the other guests to stop shouting all night. The breakfast is very bad all Indonesian food and nothing international.

The rooms are big, beautiful and very clean. The breakfast is amazing and could cater for gluten free (even gf biscuits and bread!).

Check out is 12pm but they were trying to rush us out at 11.30am, calling and sending a porter for bags. Not what I expect for a 5* hotel. The pool was nice but always in the shade and not heated. It would be good to have cold water dispensers around.

First of all, we found this to be a GREAT stay for the price! The desk staff was so kind and sweet. I wish I remembered his name, but he was training another employee and I thought he did a great job! We are Movenpick members, so we were able to enjoy a free chocolate hour (but we did not have to show proof of membership at our other Movenpick stays for this?). But chocolate hour I think was from 5:00-6:00 and we were grateful for that little addition. The television in the room was HUGE. Our view of the city was nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. Good for our one night stay.

The hotel was mostly very clean. Our shower did have a distinct mildew smell, but otherwise very clean. I wish that the TV with information about the hotel was on when we got to our room. We did not know that there was any information about the hotel until late at night when we turned the TV on. Therefore, I did not know that the sauna was in the men's bathroom and I did not know that I needed to let the staff know 1 hour before intended use that I wanted to use it. As a woman, this was very confusing for me. I went for a late afternoon swim, but the pool did not seem to be in a position to ever receive direct sunlight, so it was very cold. I went for a brief swim and was anticipating an enjoyable warm sauna, but I could not find it! (only to ask later and be told that it is in the men's bathroom). So, that was pretty disappointing, but overall, it was still a good value for the price of the hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Movenpick di Surabaya come base per la gita sul Monte Bromo, ma ci siamo trovati benissimo. Hotel moderno, molto curato, con personale accogliente e gentile. Stanza impeccabile e letti molto comodi. Bellissimo anche il piano con palestra e piscina sul terrazzo! Abbiamo mangiato spesso al ristorante dell'hotel ed è stato ottimo. Colazione con grande varietà di scelta, con opzioni sia indonesiane che occidentali.

Beaucoup de bruit a mon etage (21) surtout des portes qui claquent meme le soir. Le petit dej a bcp trop de choix les instructions ne sont pas claires ca m’a perdue. Le room service est top mais les plats salés que j’ai commandés n’etaient vraiment pas a la hauteur (pizza immangeable) et chers. Les desserts etaient bons.

La chambre était juste parfaite ! Lit confortable, la salle de bain avec de bons amenagements et une vue sur la ville. Le buffet du petit déjeuner etait delicieux. La salle de sport propose divers machine. Dommage que nous avons passés que 1 nuit... Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Surabaya City and came away feeling that this is a very good value-for-money 5-star hotel. The rate was very affordable for a property in this category, yet the overall experience still felt very much like a proper 5-star stay. As an Accor Platinum member, I was happy to receive the usual recognition, including a complimentary room upgrade to a Deluxe Room, welcome amenities, and free breakfast. Another nice touch was the complimentary afternoon tea at the Level 7 restaurant, which added extra value to the stay. The room was modern, comfortable, and nicely designed. I liked the overall feel of the room, and it came with a work desk that, while not very large, was still just nice enough for me to set up my laptop, MacBook, and gadgets comfortably. For a short business stay, it worked well enough. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks provided in the room. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Service was warm and professional, and that always makes a difference. The gym was also quite decent. It is not huge, but the equipment looked well maintained and perfectly adequate for a proper workout. The pool area is another highlight, with a modern and relaxing atmosphere that suits the overall upscale feel of the hotel. That said, there are a couple of points worth mentioning. For a 5-star Accor hotel, I was a little surprised that there is no executive lounge. Normally, that is something I would expect from a hotel at this level. Also, although I received a room upgrade, there was no in-room coffee machine, which is something I usually enjoy having in similar hotels. The complimentary beverages and snacks were appreciated, but personally I do not drink Coke or Sprite, and the snack selection was not really for me. Even with those points, I still think this hotel delivers very good overall value. If you are travelling to Surabaya and looking for a modern luxury hotel with good location, friendly service, and an affordable rate, this is definitely a property worth considering.

Het restaurant was erg goed, goed internationaal ontbijt. Op de begane grond, hebben ze hele lekkere koffie. Personeel is heel vriendelijk.

Prachtige kamer met uitzicht op de stad. Heerlijk bed, kussens, lakens en handdoeken. Kamer was schoon en modern. Ontbijt enorm uitgebreid en van hoge kwaliteit. Zwembad en kleine gym aanwezig.

Ver van de oude stad.

The spread of breakfast was crazy. Omelettes. Pastries. Local delights. Jamu! and for me the turkish coffee.. a must try. There was also free snacks corner with choc fondue in the evenings. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is next to a shopping mall.

De locatie: in de reviews lees je dat tegenover het hotel een shopping mall ligt. Maak daar maar rustig schuin tegenover van: je moet een kwartier lopen. De weg er naar toe in de avond Is niet geheel prettig en zeker niet voetgangers vriendelijk! Verder is er om het hotel weinig te beleven. Geen restaurantjes of iets dergelijks.

Excellent Team Members here at Mövenpick in Surabaya City. I made sure to share this with Mr. Toat, GM, whom I met as he went about on his walks around the floors. Mr. Toat was indeed impressive as a hands-on, approachable and visible leader. My room was excellent, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was world-class, thanks to Mr. Dian and his Manager, Mr. Kiki. A highlight was the F&B Teams, who went the extra miles to look after me. Thank you indeed to Mr. Otto, Mr. Vidi, Mr. Dimas, and Ms. Dwi. Front Office were very accommodating, particularly when I extended my stay. Excellent team service led by Mr. Sam, including my regular interactions with Mr. Febri, Ms. Mila and Ms. Syarifa.
