Dinner in Marco's was great although the steak I ordered was a little on the less tender side. Room service was good, although you were out of stock of a couple items I wanted to order. In the end, the pizza that I ordered (super plain tomatoe, basil, cheese) was great.

Room was not ready at 3pm as expected, and I even called ahead to ask if I could check-in earlier. I understand the volume of room make-ups possibly required that day, but no compensation nor offer for late check-out or anything, was even mentioned.

Great price for the quality of hotel. Perfect location for the East Midlands, fit our need perfectly. Meal was great value and quality, staff were great. The hotel listened to our needs for my partner's mobility issues. Thankyou.

The staff was amazing How clean and relaxed it was

We arrived with our 2 year old at 10pm after a long.journey. I requested a cot and asked for it to be made up on our arrival. We arrived - the cot was made up with a cot sheet and ready for transfer! We booked the Junior suite and all the mini bar items were included which was a lovely surprise!

No pen to request breakfast to be delivered to our room.

The hotel was perfect for overnight stay before travelling from East Midlands Airport, would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

The rooms were great overall however they could possibly benefit from a bit of a refurbishment to the bathroom.

The staff were friendly, courteous, and always helpful. The ambience was apart from the odd aircraft very pleasant and relaxing. The food, portion size presentation and flavour just right. An excellent bar menu after the restaurant closed. Had a really pleasant stay and will be staying again.

We are a Family of 5 in 3 rooms booked in for one night for after a Graduation. Rooms were lovely; staff amazingly friendly and helpful. Fabulous meal in Marco’s that night which was a last minute decision as we were all shattered and couldn’t face the planned evening in Nottingham centre. Best decision. Marco’s was delicious and Service exceptional. Thank you all, you really made the whole day - the icing on the cake :0)

Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. it was very handy to have EV charging in the car park. Breakfast was good too.

The sound insulation within the hotel was poor. We could hear people using the lavatory in adjoining rooms, plus a lot more noise. The shower/bath selection did not work and it was impossible to turn on the cold tap there resulting in a very hot shower. Surely this should have been noticed by the cleaners and reported and the room should not have been used until this was repaired. When we were able to report it the housekeeper was very quick to give us access to another bathroom

Driving up to the hotel it doesn’t fill you with the confidence it should. What an amazing find! Beautiful inside, cannot fault the welcome and the staff throughout our stay. On a hot summer day the cool welcome towel and canned, chilled water were a very nice touch. The bed was so comfortable and air con lovely. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Lovely bar area, the Marco Pierre restaurant was lovely, a few issues with service but no question these were handled promptly, efficiently and we cannot fault this. Breakfast was relaxing and of very nice quality. I cannot wait to return.

First room offered small, smelt of cigarette smoke & positioned next to a noisy generator - not what I’d have expected considering I’d paid for a larger size room

Some of the staff were really nice, while others including the manager were very unprofessional. We had a few issues with staff, and when we tried to follow up our complaint, thats when we realised the manager was no different. It was shocking to say the least. We won't be returning.

We stayed here as a stop between Ipswich and Cairnryan for 1 night. I made a mistake when booking through booking.com and booked the wrong date. When we got to the hotel the staff were amazing. Sophie on reception was able to sort us all out with rooms. She was so helpful in helping me fix my mistake. The atmosphere in hotel was lovely and peaceful. Great value for money. We paid for the Breakfast and it was 1st class everything you could want the mini hash browns were lovely. We brough our dog with us and they were so good with him bringing him water and place to sit and eat breakfast with him. Our room was a family room with more than enough space for 2 adults 2 kidd and our Dog. Kids also used the hotel swimming pool with one of the adults.Highly recommend this hotel , has everything you need and more.

Went here for the night before we flew out to Turkey. Room was very clean and comfortable lovely shower with ample toiletries and clean towels. Very friendly lady on reception who has a cat called Gary, AL staff very approachable and friendly. The evening meal was good and not too expensive and the breakfast was well worth the £12 charged. Plenty of parking and reception looked after my keys . I felt confident to leave my car there for 10 days and not worry about it. Reception was very helpful ordering us a taxi to the airport. All in all would definitely use again.

Restaurant at an airport hotel that shuts at 9pm. No coffee or tea making facilities anywhere in the hotel or room. Breakfast was of a decent quality but a poor selection - even though replenished so things were avalible there wasn't much available. The fact that the front desk told us about pool opening times that were not completely correct and Imposing children's pool use times for 12 year olds without it being written anywhere including their official website or told by staff when enquiring. Closing the spa and pool at 730pm on a weekend then being told otherwise. Parking is paid for even though its in the middle of a residential area - and it managed by another company which is unnecessary hassle for those not doing park and fly. Events running into the night in one of the public suites which were clearly audible in the rooms with windows closed.

The check-in staff were very polite and check-in was very efficient. The rooms were like a maze to locate. However, easy. The room was scented when I walked in, no musky scents, exceptionally clean throughout the entire room including very good quality bedding and towels. The amenities in the room were fantastic, quality powerful shower in a compact bathroom, although a sufficient size. Well set out wardrobe, desk area when entering the room with sufficient lighting and complimentary branded canned water and tea / coffee facilities with ample wardrobe space. The bedroom was separate to the desk and wardrobe area and was narrow yet spacious with very clean surroundings. The bedding was incredible. Nothing to fault and not only clean it smelt clean too. The pillows were very good and the mattress I chose a room without a soft mattress and I had an incredible nights sleep. The room had a small window into a courtyard area, so natural light and efficient enough. On check out the staff again were fantastic and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel and with sufficient car parking in made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Great location and air conditioning was great. The room needed some touch ups, more so the bathroom. Amazing breakfast serviced ar 6am, with full english available. Overall good stay.

The staff at Crowne Plaza were phenomenal and made our stay wonderful. The hotel is cozy, clean and had a great selection for breakfast. Massages and wellness centre were also 10/10. Will happily stay again!

The location is great if you’re going to Download Festival and can’t camp…

The beds are too small, ordering a caffe latte… came with a serrated milk on the side, room service after 11 pm includes 4 items only, no other options, the extended “Download Festival” menu was served only at the restaurant, no room service even if you’re exhausted, the hotel taxi service offered at the desk was 3x the Uber/Bolt rate, shower and toilet water pressure could be waaaaay better. This is my second and last time to book the hotel.

It's a really great location to stay at if you have a flight next day at east Midlands as it's easy to find and also easy to get to the airport from there. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. It was very quick to check in and had no issues with that.

The shower in my room was a bit weird, it had a very high pressure shower head and you couldn't get hot water with it unless putting it on highest pressure whihc makes it kinda impossible to use it.

A function based hotel. A tray of cakes was placed at reception. I was neither offered nor would I have accepted not knowing how long they have been left on display. My room was spacious and extremely functional and well equipped with plentiful hanging space. The outlook was disappointing into a light well littered with air-conditioning units. The bathroom was modern but not the cleanest. Good comfortable bed. Sound transmission was a problem. I could hear the toilet flush, showering and all WC movements from the rooms above. Clearly the drainage was either above or beside my bed. Breakfast was limited but of good quality. Small clean pool with health suite. Strange location other than attending a function.

The room was compact, yet had all the amenities required. I didn’t opt for a soft mattress and the bed was perfect. I always wear ear plugs, so I can’t confirm if the hotel was quiet. The individual air con unit was effective. Very friendly staff at check in and check out.

I have come to this hotel the second time as being absolutely a great privilege to be back every single staff husband we feel welcome the rooms are absolutely tidy the food is absolutely great very well organised I just can't believe how clean the place is the manager Mohammed who was very very helpful to me up on my arrival and the reception yasin I'm very very helpful as well I recommend this to everyone very well organized place makes you feel welcome even if you are going on holiday from here we will be a great start to begin your journey Thank you so much I see you soon again

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only tiny negative was the bathroom shower, otherwise it would have been 10/10. Breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We liked everything about the hotel. Clean and tidy, nice decor. Breakfast selection had decent options. The swimming pool and facilities were top notch. Special shout out to Yasin and Leanne, they provided exceptional customer service and made sure our stay was fruitful.

Although it didn't apply to myself as I am a member of IHG, it would be better to not charge guests a parking fee to park securely at their car park. They didn't have a large TV screen in the lobby area, it would have been nice to have watched the Champions League Final there. the swimming pool had a separate closing time for children (6.30pm) it wasn't a big deal to be honest, but some may find that a bit annoying.

The Spa Healtclub is excellent

Everything in the hotel was clean. The room was a good size and had everything we required. It didn't have a fridge but we were able to get fresh milk to the room when needed. The spa facilities were excellent. It wasn't too busy and was again very clean. The pool is a good size for swimming.

Pleasant hotel, just off m1 motorway. Staff pleasant and friendly. Leanne receptionist, very helpful and lovely. Booked a premium queen room with combination shower / bath. Room on arrival had walk in shower and when I queried it ,I was shown an alternative which was clearly not premium , older furnishings and the carpet didn't look great( confirmed by pictures on the website) so stayed in the room already allocated. Premium room had everything you would expect- hairdryer, ironing board, iron , safe , tea and coffee BUT there was no fridge ( there was a cupboard that looked like it was designed for a fridge). For the cost of the room and comparison on previous hotel stays at Crowne plaza and similar standard hotels a fridge has been included. For this reason that's why I've given 4 and not 5 stars (sadly) as we were staying 2 days and wanted somewhere to keep our drinks and snack cold ( room was very warm). The hotel is clean, nice decor. We ate evening meal and breakfast and both were great quality at a fair price. The swimming pool. Sauna and steam room, again these were great, clean and enjoyable. 10 EV chargers ( take your own lead) available but we did notice non ev cars parked in the spaces, despite having spaces available in the large car park. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would recommend a stay here.

Wow what a place . We were met by Sophie at reception, who is very friendly, then when we read the reviews about Marcos we were wary but it was amazing. The food was to die for , no complaints at all. The drinks are very reasonable and the staff excellent, Rachael and Kerri at breakfast are lovely ladies . The only negative was the £15 taxi to the airport , not anything to do with the hotel , but Kegworth is such a lovely village we will use the crowne plaza again but take the car to meet and greet in the morning.

Comfortable beds

Booked this hotel for kids to use pool, was closed to kids after 7.30, waited quite a while for food so pool was closed when we finished!!! Would have gone somewhere cheaper if I had realised

We booked a family room with a crib and despite calling beforehand and checking at reception on arrival no crib was set up. The room was nice enough and clean. We were placed next to the stairs and due to a function at the hotel us and our baby were kept up until after midnight with music, fire doors banging and drunks roaming the corridors. A few weeks after staying we received letters threatening legal action because we had used the car park allegedly without staying at the hotel, despite sending evidence to the parking company we had stayed it took several phone calls and emails to the hotel to get it cancelled. Breakfast was ok but some of the hot food had run out early and not replaced and the remainder was lukewarm.

Our room stank of stale tobacco smoke, was disgusting … no other rooms available do we had to endure it. Was told if we booked breakfast the kids would eat free - we were charged however £7 per child which was disappointing

Generally, the room was ok. However, there was hair on the bathroom floor when we went to the room, and also on one of the pillows. There was also a beetle in the room, which made this a bit more inconvenient. We informed the reception, and hopefully, they will take care of it before the next guest goes in.

We only stayed for one night, and cleanliness was the off-putting part. The rest was ok. I have been to Crown Plaza in other countries, and this was not a similar experience.
