The aircon was keep turning off by itself and itwas so warm to the point that we didn’t sleep for the first night. The tea bags looks old and did not replace them.

L'accueil du départ le matin très moyen et nous avons eu un petit problème avec un sac qui a craqué et personne n'est venu nous aider pour nous demander si nous avions besoin d'aide. Ce qui est dommage. Les serviettes de toilette pas très propres mais peut-être un problème de laverie car le reste étaient très propre.

Good, hot breakfast (complimentary) with meats, egg, and pancakes, along with fruit, bread, and cereal options. Rooms were clean and everything was as expected for this well-established brand. Walking distance to basic shopping (grocery & drugstore) and restaurants. The location was ideal for our purpose - off the highway and near our Surrey destination. Plenty of parking. Front desk staff were friendly, smart, and helpful. We didn't use the fitness center or pool so can't comment.

No complaints. We got just what we expected with Holiday Inn and would stay again.

The hotel was in a convenient location. It was pretty quiet and client. The best feature was the warm and welcoming staff.

Well located for our requirements. Staff were helpful and easy check-in process. We liked the breakfast options.

Our mini fridge was not working and there was a bad electrical smell coming from it. I feel the cleaning staff should have noticed this when they cleaned earlier that day. We unplugged it and told the reception - they were very helpful and gave us an alternative option to store our cold foods. They also responded very quickly when the sports team on our floor was running and yelling in the hallway at 11.30pm. It’s not the evening staff’s fault this happened during our stay and we were happy with the hotel response to the issues.

The staff were fantastic and rooms were ery nice.

What I didn't like so much was the placement of the pool size or hot tub and such as it looked clinical and barron rather than inviting and the feeling as if you are away at a resort hotel. The breakfast was OK, at most times the bacon was absolutely terrible, rock hard infact and uneatable, and for people who really look forward to their morning coffee. Only half and half cream to choose from as opposed to what all coffee shops use, which is 18% cream that makes all the difference from a mediocre cup of coffee and a fantastic cup of coffee. For me personally and many of the people traveling with us made all the difference this weekend and woukd have prevented all of us from having to hurry to find a tim hortons. As a member, It's the little things such as this that make a hotel great.

Hotel management allowed a rock band to rehearse and perform near our room. The band played drums, bass, and electric guitar with belxhing singers in the evening for hours and then all morning and early afternoon. We asked for a new room 4 times and each time were assured the band would be asked to be quiet, but that never happened. What band would turn themselves down? We wanted a relaxing, peaceful stay and the hotel management went way over the line by allowing a band to rent out space near rooms. The hotel should either refuse the band or leave the rooms around it empty, but it seems it wanted to have the payment from both groups, however the cost is that we understand our stay and satisfaction is not as important as the short term revenue stream. Unfortunately will will not go back, and will recommend others avoid the property, so it may not pay off for the hotel. It takes a lot for my family to complain like this, but our experience was egregious, and we tried to help the hotel move us many times. Ultimately we weathered the poor experience and maintained a positive attitude, but feel like there should be a cost to its behavior, which will be poor reviews and we won’t stay there anymore. We also won’t take our youth hockey teams there anymore.

We love how clean the facility is and the staff is very friendly. Super convenient location for us so we've stayed multiple times. Breakfast is decent, nothing to rave about but good enough to get your day started.

There was a strong unpleasant odor in the hallway even before we entered the room. Inside the room, there was an intense smell like wet shoes. We asked to change rooms, but our request was denied, saying that all rooms were the same. They only gave us a spray cleaner. It was the first time we experienced something like this. The smell was so bad that my family didn’t even shower or change clothes, and we left early in the morning without having breakfast. The odor was unbearable. We will never come back again.

Nothing my girl got off work and showed up late they wouldn't let her in and I paid for two people to stay also I was gone most the night working my self it ended up costing me 495 for 20 mins in a room I didn't even turn on the TV soon as they told her she couldn't come in I checked out thx again holiday inn. The eggs were dry and the oatmeal wasn’t refilled especially when you go down after 8am.

After flying in to Vancouver and picking up a rental car it was late when we arrived and so it was great having someone at Reception. They were able to direct us to some food outlets a short walk away, still open around 10.30pm. Big comfortable room, great breakfast included in the price. Easy to get on the road next day heading to the Rockies.

Clean , comfortable and friendly staff. I like that hotel separate bed room and living room. It’s very comfortable and convenient for family.

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would. The staff were AMAZING. I have not had better service anywhere. The room was clean, modern, and smelled amazing, and it was very quiet. Highly recommend. Will definitely be my first choice in the future as well for any stays in the Surrey area.

The room was large and very clean, it was quite. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff very accommodating. My husband has bad arthritis they offered a shower chair. Gave us great advice on how to get around. It was a great start to our days before our cruise

Overall good value for money but breakfast has few truly healthy options (real eggs, yogurt without sugar, whole grain oatmeal, fruit and veg).

I like how the property includes free breakfast. I enjoy how close the grocery store is and I am able to walk oitside and feel safe. I did not like how the rooms were being cleaned at all!!! The towels were never nicely folded and put away, I knew they didn't really clean because I would shower in the morning and i do loose a lot of hair so, at the end of the day when we retun to the room the bed was fixed, but hair was still on the floor in the bathroom. The walls are also very thin and you could hear EVERYTHING.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Holiday Inn in Edmonton. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The bed was excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the in-room amenities (Wi-Fi, TV, coffee station) worked perfectly. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and major routes. Parking was straightforward, and I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. A highlight was the breakfast — a nice selection of hot and cold options, all fresh and well presented. The staff in the dining area were attentive and kind, which made mornings even better. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re in Edmonton for business or leisure, the Holiday Inn provides fantastic value, comfort, and service. We cannot say enough good things about this property! We had such a good time at the Holiday Inn express. It was clean. It was efficient and the staff were remarkable. We weren’t aware that there was a breakfast in the morning, so when we came up from the sauna, we smelled the amazing food and we were able to have a delicious breakfast as well! We have to note this, we stayed at Harrison Hot Springs the very next night. We cannot believe what an outstanding stay. It was at the Holiday Inn express. Harrison Hot Springs was absolutely terrible… And by comparison, and even just on its own or stay at the Holiday Inn express was by far much better! The bed was so much better, the sheets and linens were new and super comfy! We highly recommend this chain of hotels as they seem to be on par for exactly what’s expected from a guest! Thank you thank you.

Location was ideal for my needs. However, telephone support when I called to inform of my delayed arrival was EXTREMELY frustrating. I was put on hold for 12 minutes before I hung up and tried again 5 minutes later. Got an obviously outside the country agent who I could just barely hear who proceed to give me the wrong telephone number for the wrong location after I specified the guildford location, not Cloverdale!

Great stay. Staff were really nice. Good price for Vancouver. The room was spotless. We were facing the main street but did not hear a sound. Pet friendly hotel but no smells or noise. Will definitely stay here again.
