The hotel is ideal location for the city center, the room was nice and clean if a little dated bathroom. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms felt a little basic i.e. no biscuits with the tea and coffee and only one bath towel provided, so not ideal for washing your hair. Also the bar prices are very expensive almost £10 for a pint.

Location was perfect walking distance from train station and O2 academy

The bed was too soft didn't sleep so well on it ( personal opinion) . Breakfast didn't have a great choice if you don't eat a cooked breakfast tiny bowls for cereal and only a choice of 3 cereals no porridge.

Room was too hot and the air con was so noisy it was like sleeping in an MRI machine. Breakfast was fairly good quality but slightly disorganised, the restaurant wasn't busy and they failed to keep stock levels up. Tea pots weren't available, there were no teaspoons in sight.

An absolutely ideal location for a lovely day out. Excellent transport links to the city centre and the railway station.

Zero mention on booking of construction and repairs being done to the building but still payed a premium price. Was not happy about that. Couldn't check in till after 2pm

Disappointed with our stay here! Stayed at other Raddison Blu hotels previously but this was the worst. We went to breakfast at 8.00am on Wednesday and the dining area was terrible! Many tables full of dirty dishes not a clean table available! No fresh fruit left no orange juice available very limited selection of breakfast cereal cooked selection lukewarm! We hoped it would improve on our two other mornings but it wasn’t much better! Had to ask for milk, bread and coffee machine to be refilled! They seemed very understaffed! Went to the bar for a drink a couple of evenings barman seemed to be missing most of the time had to ring a bell and wait! One night we waited ten minutes to get a drink.

This was a disaster, booked for my son and his partner as a birthday surprise Wouldn't let them in, wouldn't let them use plug to charge phone. We're rude and looked down on them because they have mental health.problems. a disaster Thought I'd give them a taste of the better life but they had to walk away Everyone should be given a chance, they were only going to be there for 1 night, SHAME ON U RADDISON

Bathroom tub was a bit to tight when having shower. So would of been better with a shower tray in this room.

Everything was nice but you need to get customer parking spaces and allow disable badge holders to park at front. Also you need a better comfy mattress for king sized beds.

Spending that much extra for the view and room and then not having the heating work via ac, therefore, they had to send a heater which was not convenient as this was in the way, there was only 2 plug sockets.

Aircon is not great; cleaning is average. Really noisy and room too hot if you switched it off Hotel seems a little tired. Bar food is only ok, limited menu and food overpriced. Found some bar staff rude. Others very nice. Breakfast, I’d have expected better. Not great fruit and continental selection. Huge stain on my bed sheets when I arrived

Room advertised as suitable for 4 adults with king ans sofa beds. The sofa bed was not big enough for 2 adults. Room very noisy; despite being on 17th floor you could still hear a lot of traffic noise. Air con was more noisy than effective and the room felt very stuffy. We had a lovely stay for one night, while down watching a show it was close to theatre and other facilities, Staff were great and very friendly nothing was an issue, breakfast was good they had something for everyone

Clean large room with comfortable pillows, great temperature (air-con v welcome in summer!), good location for central Birmingham, lovely big bath and good pressure on the shower, good breakfast with well-stocked buffet and options, warm and friendly reception staff.

Excellent location, hotel clean and quiet. Room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. Bar area lovely. Front of house staff so polite and friendly and seemed genuinely interested when asked how our day has been and where we came from etc.

The lady behind the bar was a bit miserable and I had to wait a while to be served as she’d gone out the back and left the bar unattended. Also the shower was just trickling. Bar overpriced. Over £16 for a cider and a beer 🫣

Great location for shopping,train station and Theatre. Comfortable beds and pillows. Complimentary pastries and cold bottled water on arrival was lovely.

The toilets in the main lobby area were very poor,the one sink was out of order and the whole basin unit felt like it was falling forward and left water all over the unit and floor. Needs refurbishing. Not 4star standard The breakfast was very poor,the food was not hot it didn’t taste fresh. Pancake machine was out of order.

Central location near the railway station. We upgraded our room before arriving at the hotel and got a very quiet room on the 16th floor. It was extremely hot during our stay, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were friendly. Everything worked perfectly, the hotel was good value for money.

The mini-fridge didn't work. The continental breakfast could have been more varied. However, there were many gluten-free options available upon request.

The gym was disappointingly closed during our stay, but we could use another local external gym for a refundable price. The breakfast was unfortunately disappointing - choice was good but bacon like shoe leather having sat in the pan for hours it seemed and scrambled eggs cold and 'metallic' tasting...

I really like the location, the staff were lovely and the bed was superb.

The view and window visibility was nothing like what was advertised on the Radisson website for the superior room with a city view. On top of that the tv kept rebooting and there was a very big stain on the carpet. I felt it was nowhere near worth the price I paid of £220.

This is a great hotel .Spacious rooms with 2 arm chairs.Central location and convenient to New Street station.The out look isn’t great but we were hardly in the room during the day time.The down side was the water pressure was poor in the bathroom.There are budget hotels nearby.

I was here for business and would very happily come back. The room was excellent! It was clean and had everything. Great location too. I want to mention Olivia who made me feel welcomed. She was friendly and professional, and went out of her way to make sure I was looked after. A huge thank you to Olivia and the rest of the team for such a welcoming and enjoyable stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my time at Raddison Blu Birmingham where I had my engagement at their presidential suite. The suite was clean, amazing view and most importantly they’ve got great and friendly staff. They made sure I got all that was needed , also got complimentary champagne, cards, drinks, etc. amazing staff there .

We got the human touch! Unusual these days not to use common sense. We arrived very early wanting to leave our bags but the guy on reception found that our room was ready so we were welcome to check in early FOC. That doesn’t happen at a Premier Inn! Also late check out being 12 noon, was able to have a wander around the city without bags before checking out too!

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Birmingham in a City View Suite for the first night of our family holiday. The hotel itself was pleasant, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very convenient for Birmingham city centre. Unfortunately, we had a couple of issues which took the shine off the stay. We had planned to relax in the evening and watch a family film with our children, but the Chromecast on the TV would not connect. When I tried to call reception for assistance, I then discovered that the room telephone wasn't working at all – there was no dial tone, which also meant we couldn't use it to order room service. I eventually had to search for the hotel's telephone number on my own mobile and go through the options to reach reception. I explained both issues and was told that the hotel may have been going through an update which was affecting some TVs. However, nobody was sent to the room to investigate, no alternative was offered, and the faulty telephone wasn't addressed either. Technical problems can happen, but I was disappointed by the lack of effort to resolve them, particularly as a Radisson Rewards VIP member staying in a suite. It was our first evening away with our children and we had specifically planned a relaxing movie night. Overall, the hotel and suite were nice, but the response to the problems could have been considerably better.

First room had 2 single beds pushed together to make a double, we kept falling through the middle. Second night we were allowed to change rooms to a proper double bed.

Can't believe some of the complaints, we've stayed in hotels allover the world and can't fault this one. Nice staff (nate) good central location, nice clean well maintained room, good cold pint of staropramen in the bar. What's not to like? Will stay again

Great location just few minutes walk from train station and shops. Room was a good size with air conditioning. Good check out time of 12pm. Great views over the city. Comfortable beds. Hairdryer, small fridge and iron handy additions to room.

Few stains in carpet and holes in bedding. Asked for a £50 deposit for damages that was refunded on check out, surely this is unnecessary as any damages would only be found after the room was cleaned?

The staff is very nice and friendly. This is the one of very strongest side of Radisson Blu Birmingham. The location of this hotel is cherry on the top if you’re the person love to explore the city centre and rounding area. I love the choices for breakfast especially if you have picky eaters with you.

Just outside are room the ceiling had collapsed. There was a huge tub underneath it. If there was a fire this would be very dangerous. The wires hanging down and a fire exit sign placed on the wires. There was hairs in the shower.

We had suite kids had put up beds in the living area at first walk though it looked really amazing . Main bed so comfortable handy for both theatres.

Cracks started to show grandsons didnt like beds it was like sleeping on wood. Fridge didn’t work. Bathroom bath mat fell apart . Shaving mirror went everywhere but where you need it so no good for purpose . TV cast would not connect . Phone would not work. Had to go to reception for room service. As did not answer to mobile. Such a shame as you expect suite to be a bit special. We were rang b4 arrival to say AC not working and given a discount then had to be given drinks free as room not ready took 1 hr and they said it had been ready all along. Breakfast nothing special sadly . So sad as staff were lovely and what you think is a treat of a nice room . Especially as I was going to re book for a future stay but would not pay that price they charging on that day for that suite. We did spend a lot of time in it as we had come to it for a purpose and didn't need to leave in between

The staff were uniformly lovely and helpful. The breakfast range was good. Location is fantastic, hotel is well-priced and the rooms were spacious and clean. Drop off parking area is helpful as is the nearby NCP car park.

It is unacceptable that a hotel of this star rating targeting business travellers has such a long-standing problem with its air conditioning. Numerous guests were talking about how it had been this way for months at least. It made things exceptionally difficult for the staff because during the heatwave, this was particularly felt and understandably made guests extremely dissatisfied. They were trying their best but there was little they could do against such a systemic issue. As I was pregnant the staff kindly accommodated by upgrading me to a room where the air con was partially functioning- this meant that so long as the curtains were closed all day, the room stayed in the low twenties in temperature, albeit the machine made a Darth Vader-esque death rattle. It was (much!) better than nothing but still far from ideal. Further, I had to advise on a number of occasions at breakfast that milk should not be left out by the coffee machines unrefrigerated as this was a food poisoning risk. Each day for three days I would nonetheless go down to breakfast to see that this was still being done, for convenience, so guests did not have to go the 1-2 metres to the fridge. It seemed fixed by the end of my stay after around complaint number 3 but I have no way of knowing if this has led to long term change or if they just did it whilst I was there to shut me up! Otherwise, breakfast had a good range and was very tasty.

The Aircon in our room (possibly the whole hotel) was not working at all. We were told on arrival that this was the case but it was much too late to change hotels as we had a busy program.

The location of the hotel it was central to everything we wanted to do and it suited my wife`s mobility needs. we also had an accessible room which was good.

For a 4 star hotel the breakfast was appalling. It was a buffet breakfast and all the cooked food was stone cold. only scrambled and boiled eggs were on offer and the continental stuff had been out so long that the ham and cheese was dry and uncovered. for a 4 star I would expect the hot food to be cooked to order and a wider choice of how you want your eggs
