price is great, beds were very comfy, staff is very very good, checkout/check in is very smooth and efficient, they have dog rooms. we have come here every Labor day for 6 of 7 years and it is great value for the price. will come back often.

year after year the BOOKING.COM listing says that there is an onsite restaurant. 6 visits and we have never seen it open. It is not a big deal for us ,as there are many good eating places in the neighbornood. However, I think the listing should be more accurate.

What we really like is there nice warm swimming pool And the fact that we can stay with our doggo And you absolutely cannot beat the price

Great price and a good place for a one night stopover

Location was good across from mall with grocery , clothes , and liquor store . Gas station across the street .

Upon check in desk attendant asked what kind of card im using when she can read it . Upon entering room bathroom sink leaked safety issue blood on light switch panel in bathroom and when smoke detector went off no staff checked on room. No we did not start a fire it was steam from bathroom during shower but safety would say check on guests .

Location .. first floor our dog could go out on a long lead … and where it’s located in Vernon central

No coffee maker in one room and the other had one with no coffee etc … the gal At the front desk wasn’t a good choice on a Friday of a long weekend … not personable helpful and extremely slow and had to call a manager several Times. It wasn’t very clean the patio door was VERY difficult to open

Hotel is in rough shape. Doors and lamps broken, bathroom not clean at all. Coffee makers with no coffee, pool cloudy, etc.

Do yourself a favor and don’t let the cheap price fool you. Stay away from this hotel. The room was absolutely filthy: the floors were disgusting, the air vents were full of dust and dirt, and the shower was clogged. After someone at the front desk saw the pictures, they had absolutely no solution for us other than canceling our reservation. He completely ignored our complaints and blamed the previous guests for leaving the room dirty. But what about the cleaning staff? I’ll say it again, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. You’re better off sleeping in your car or in a tent or something.

Was old and rundown. Bathroom cleanliness was questionable . Stayed for 4 days and room was only cleaned once(sign put on door as well to clean room) and still wasnt given fresh towels, beds were uncomfortable.

The beds were comfy and the room was cozy and clean.

The shower drain was very slow and hard to figure out how to use it but got it figured out.

This place is not even a 1 star. The front staff and employees whom we interacted with were friendly to us. We had viewed some guests not get the same respect. Usually because they had complaints that were very warranted. The pictures you see on line are all legit and I don't know even know where to start. Very dirty, from every wall, door, shower, sink, lamp, bed, sheets, window just everything. The pool was so dirty you could not see your feet while standing in the pool. Rooms....disgusting Atmosphere....dissapointment on each guests face. Value.....what do I say here...any monies spent here is a crime The wirering in rooms is a fire hazard just waiting to happen.

Carpet was so dirty like it was not cleaned and smell like damp carpet that was not dried. Bath tub was clogged.

The place was rundown. There was hair on the sheets on one of the beds. One of the 3 hosts where nice. The other 2 were a bit rude. With the price, there should have been breakfast included. It was very hard to get into the driveway from the main road.

Very disappointed, rooms were dirty. During fire evacuation they over charged for rooms and collected pet fees for soiled rooms. I found room rates on booking dot com for cheaper. On a brighter note, the reception and management were very acommodating and nice.

Big bug in my bed, potato chips on the deck, a.c. wasn't working, shower needs and update, floor had stains and we heard a high pitched scream right outside our hotel door. Oh there was a coffee machine with no coffee or coffee cups, or anything for that.

Paying extra for a pet friendly room only for it to be disgusting, smelling of urine with urine stains all over the carpet.

Vernon location Property outside looked dirty and tired in the parking lot. Inside the lobby, dying plants in planters dead leaves. NO elevator Atmosphere, tired dirty walls, inside the room, curtains were not hanging well on curtain rod. Smelly bed sheets and pillows. Asked them to change them. Shower did not work, and tub was dirty looking. I’m a travel agent - mentioned to management they have to take better care of their hotel. It’s the worse looking hotel. 2 out of 5

There web site was not at all accurate there was no restaurant it has apparently been closed for years no convince store or liquor store the pool was so filthy we couldn't use it the room was not cleaned there where empty chip bags under our bed and a used shower cap and the tub was black and wouldn't drain we had to ask for towels because they only provide 2 for a family of 5 on the 3rd day we had to ask for garbage bags and change our own garbage the ice machine had black mold on it and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in yrs there was 1 coffee machine for the whole floor which also was filthy our fridge in the room froze everything no matter what setting it was on so my granddaughters insulin froze and we had to replace it .I did my research on this hotel on line before we booked and it looked so different vthen what it actually looked like Iwas greatly disappointed 😞 Our grandkids had a very rough yr and now are residing with us and we wanted to give them a great vacation which we managed to do except for the hotel. The staff was friendly and did give us garbage bags and towels when we asked

The room was under construction it was dirty. The bathroom was discussting They painted the countertop and the pain was pealing off. The shower curtain was full of holes and we had only two towels no face cloths. The walls in the hallway were all damaged and dirty. The carpets in the hotel were all stain and smell bad. We had a Keurig in the room no pods sugar or cups. We will never stay in a dump like that again.

The location was good for the activities that we did.

No coffee in the rooms Had to go down to the lobby to get coffee. There were Kureg machines, just no coffee. The phone in the room was broken so I had to go down to the lobby each time we needed anything. Only supplied one hand towel and one large towel for the two of us. Asked them if they could clean the chairs on the balcony so we could sit out there. They did not. We had to clean them ourselves.

Dirty rooms

There was blood stains on the duvet, pubic hair in the shower, a broken brush folded in the bedding. The room was dirty and had other people’s clothing on the balcony. This is a health hazard. When staff were contacted and inspected the room, they took pictures, picked up pieces of half eaten licorice off the floor, and didn’t offer any help. It was terrible.

It’s dirty. My room had branches hanging out of the air conditioning vent. Ice bucket had long black hair in it (mine’s red). Dried blood or shit on the walls. Stained towels and sheets. The front office staff were unprofessional and the hotel rips people off.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious but there was no coffee maker in the room, the shower drain area was corroded/rusted, the towels were not fluffy and the floor was not clean.

Staff had no idea of my reservation and had to scramble to find me a room. Told me they would bring up towels. 1.5 hrs later I called down to the front desk multiple times slung to have towels brought up. I had to call from my cell phone the last time and be put through to the manager before they finally brought towels up. By that time I had already been told I would need to pay for a fork and spoon to eat my dinner. I've never in my life had to pay for cutlery. I walked over to petrol can to get free cutlery! The room was dirty, floors stained, staff did not care at all. I stayed for 2.5 hours while I found a hotel that I then went to as this one was filthy and not worth staying at. Bathroom was dirty and stained. No coffee machine in the room. Just a poor place that has horrible reviews that I only learnt of after. I will never recommend this place and will let anyone I speak with know to not stay at this business. I asked to speak to manager and they told me "he" would call me the next day.... no call was had. Waste of time

In terms of value, this hotel is a good choice for the area. However, the service is somewhat slow. We experienced a delay in receiving our room towels, which didn't arrive until 10:15 the next day, just before we checked out. The bathroom sink also had a slow drainage issue.

I booked 2 rooms and they put them on different wings of the hotel. Hallways were poorly lit.

The room was a little small. The bed barely fit, didn’t leave much space on either side between the bed and the wall. No amenities close by and almost no dining options.

The cleanliness on the property is questionable. Each floor feels different maybe due the price of the room. The corridor makes you realize this is the first mistake you made booking this venue. The room is unpleasant to look at. Especially if you book the superior room. The carpets in the bedroom are so old its time they change it. The walls look dreadful with the vintage popcorn texture and the amenities in the room are lacking from a basic hotel. Maybe spend more and get a better room or find a different place. The gap in the door invites flies and insects and there is no privacy due to the sound leaking from there. If you can sacrifice the comfort privacy hygiene and cleanliness this could be a good choice if you shell more for an upgraded room

Loved the pool and rooms. Large, clean and comfortable.

The elevator broke during checkout so we had to lug our luggages down 6 flights of stairs.

I had booked through Booking.com What I thought I saw and intended to book was $41.00 a night but as I never saw an itemized invoice from them or you I have no idea what I paid. My son and I stayed here in October 2025 and my room was much nicer and cleaner. Both times I had to go to the front desk for towel and face cloth. Both times I left the Please Makeup Room sign on door and was not made up was hoping for clean towels etc as at home I never use soiled towels twice and having to use them 3 days in a row was disgusting. Great price! Close to Walmart, Superstore, a mall right next door, and lots more. Beds were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I honestly didn't expect anything over the top being at the price it was at, but I've been to this hotel 3 times because it's affordable. Sink was super clogged on the first stay, third stay the sink emitted a foul odor whenever you ran water down the drain. Definitely old plumbing or a terrible clog, smelled literally like feces anytime I ran water in the sink during that third stay. We stayed in a "pet friendly" room as well because they were on the ground floor and we were able to go to their outdoor smoking area via a sliding glass door. So it's nice you could bring your pet and not have an issue, they had doggie bags and a bin. My end point is the carpets were gross, felt dirty and stained. Even in the halls and in the room on our 3rd story room, all the carpets need to be replaced. It's not great. They have better rooms and I bought the cheapest one so I understand that you get what you pay for. But still lol

The pool and hot tub were great. The pool was so warm you didn't need to get used to the temperature. My room was disappointing and not what was advertised. It opened to a decrepit courtyard with garbage, random clothes laying around and children's toys and a dirty and decrepit chair. I didn't have the energy to complain and did not spend much time in the room anyway. I read in the reviews that there were no facecloths in the room so I brought my own. The price was excellent, 3 nights for $150 plus taxes. The coffee machine was good. The hallways and the front of the hotel were a mess, overflowing garbage in the entrance, leaky water cooler, dirty floors. Some people live in the hotel and you could smell it when you walked down the hallway. My room was clean enough. The fridge was decent. The front staff was nice. The key here is you need to ask for stuff. During a 3 night stay I asked for towels for the pool and room, toilet paper (I declined housekkeping) and wooden cutlery. The staff will happily provide. Overall, with the rates I paid, I think the value was decent.

Honestly it’s a hotel, hanging a bit but the pool was nice, even a working Sauna that no one seemed to notice! Hot tub was a million degrees which was nice. Room was all good and clean and great for a night or two stop.

Location could be better but most people driving through will have a car so it’s not a big deal.

It’s a good place to stay. Needs renovation though. The bathroom was not the cleanest. Also the hallways had over flowing garbage. We were there only for one night. I would not go back unless renovations happen. Staff was very kind.

Old facilities, the room was set very cold when checked in, when I closed the air condition there's always a urine smell, later I found it's from the bed sheets, faint yellow stains, clearly the sheets are not cleaned. Very horrible experience.
