Dass es am Pool im Park keine bewirtete Poolbar gab. Die Tennisplätze müssten ein bisschen gepflegt werden.

Service and location was great, as was the pool - although you had to walk over the road to reach that.

Very dated and tired, especially the room. I'm sure 50 years ago it was beautiful.

Un hotel stupendo in una cittadina stupenda. L'hotel è in una antica casa nobiliare, con un’atmosfera mitteleuropea novecentesca meravigliosa. Le foto su Booking non rendono la bellezza degli ambienti: i pezzi di antiquariato alle pareti; l'affresco antico con l'elefante sulla facciata; la vista delle montagne mentre si fa colazione... La piscina coperta è corredata da ben due saune, curatissime, una secca e una umida. La piscina esterna è immersa in un grande parco con le rose, con tante sdraio dove leggere. Agli ospiti vengono forniti borsa, accappatoio e asciugamani da piscina; sauna e piscine sono incluse nel prezzo, senza limiti di orari. Che altro? Colazione buonissima. Letti comodissimi, lenzuola e asciugamani di alta qualità. Personale leggermente scoordinato nelle comunicazioni ma molto gentile. Ero a Bressanone da sola per assistere una persona infortunata in ospedale e questo hotel mi ha davvero permesso di ricaricare l'anima.

Nella stanza singola numero 32 c’era un rumore di ventola che proveniva da una bocca di aerazione al piano di sotto. Dopo una notte in cui ho fatto fatica ad addormentarmi a causa del rumore, ho chiesto di cambiare stanza e lo hanno fatto senza problemi, assegnandomi una camera doppia al prezzo di una singola.

Hotel iconico dii Bressanone, dove la storia si è fermata a un secolo fa, ma tutto conservato e ristrutturato perfettamente. Parco con piscina bellissimo.

La mancanza dell'aria condizionata nella camera assegnata, seppur rimediao con ventilatore.

Das Hotel Elephant ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit viel Charme und Atmosphäre, und gerade deshalb war unsere Erfahrung umso enttäuschender. Wir hatten das Hotel für eine Nacht auf unserer Heimreise gebucht und bekamen bei einem Zimmerpreis von rund 360 € ein Zimmer ohne direktes Fenster. Tageslicht und Frischluft kamen lediglich über eine vorgelagerte, verglaste Veranda. Da es an diesem Tag sehr heiß war, war die Luft im Zimmer während der Nacht entsprechend stickig und unangenehm. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir dies an der Rezeption angesprochen. Die Antwort, man könne das „bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt gerne berücksichtigen“, fanden wir wenig angemessen. Bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie und diesem Preisniveau sollte ein Zimmer ohne direktes Fenster entweder klar als solches ausgewiesen sein oder zumindest beim Check-in transparent kommuniziert werden. Ein wirklich schönes Hotel, aber dieses Zimmer und vor allem der Umgang mit unserer Rückmeldung wurden dem Anspruch des Hauses leider nicht gerecht.

Schade. Denn die Lage ist super; auch der Wellnessbereich innen und der Pool in der Gartenanlage außen sind sehr schön.

Leider enttäuschend: Das Bad in die Jahre gekommen - ohne Fenster -, für das Zimmer selbst nur ein kleiner Ventilator zur Kühlung, beim Frühstück wurde oft nicht wieder aufgefüllt, selbst wenn die Frühstückszeit noch längst nicht beendet war, teils sehr unfreundliches und blasiert wirkendes Personal, schon sehr früh am Morgen Lärm durch Putzpersonal. Das Hotel müsste darüber hinaus an einigen Stellen generalüberholt werd

Just excellent personal service

Excellent location on the edge of the old town. Beautifully maintained hotel, parts of which are from the 16th century, absolutely spotless and with sumptuous decor. Outdoor pool across the road in beautiful gardens, indoor pool and spa downstairs (which, unbelievably, I had to myself for over an hour..) Robe, slippers, bag etc provided for when using these facilities. Extensive breakfast choice. Breakfast area, restaurant, bar all beautifully decorated. Staff all excellent and keen to help - I arrived before check-in time and this was no problem.

The only negative is that I couldn't open my bedroom window for some air flow, and there wasn't any AC, so the room was quite hot in the morning with the sun on it. Obviously, this may not be true of other rooms!

The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. The spa and pool are top notch. The breakfast is amazing.

Traditionelles, stilvolles Hotel, freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Restaurant kann ich empfehlen, das Personal ist kompetent und freundlich. Der Park mit dem Pool sind super.

The location of the hotel is ideal, walking distance to the centre and easily accessible by public transport. The staff are kind and helpful and the breakfast is outstanding.

Die Frühstücksterrasse ist einfach Klasse...

Ein wunderschönes Hotel, das bis auf das Jahr 1551 zurückgeht. Traumhaft schön ist der riesige Park mit alten Bäumen, Obstplantagen, Pool und Tennisplatz. Dir vielen Blumen und blühenden Bäume duften herrlich. Die Lage ist nah an der Altstadt. Wir haben in der dazugehörigen Villa im Park gewohnt, dort gibt es zwar einen Fahrstuhl, aber der hält nur an den Treppen zwischen den Etagen. Das war beschwerlich mit dem Gepäck, aber man konnte sich Hilfe holen.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Info gegeben über die BrixenCard..Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Abendessen in Restaurant sehr lecker. Frischer Nudelteig und Gerichte. Toller Service. Angenehme Atmosphäre im Hotel. Italienischer Flair. Der große Garten mit Pool. Es war für mich ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Certo, qualche disagio dovuto alla maleducazione degli ospiti che parlano con tono di voce altissimo alle 6 del mattino in corridoio mentre lasciano la camera o cani che abbaiano a lungo in camera. Ma non dipende dall'albergo quindi confermo recensione ottima.

Il ragazzo presente alla reception durante il turno notturno è stato sempre estremamente gentile, professionale e disponibile ad aiutarci per qualsiasi necessità. La sua cortesia e disponibilità sono state particolarmente apprezzate durante il soggiorno.

Desidero segnalare alcuni aspetti del soggiorno che mi hanno lasciata perplessa. Eravamo quattro colleghi in trasferta di lavoro, ciascuno con una stanza indipendente e presenti a colazione separatamente, non come gruppo. A tre di noi (due persone del Sud Italia e un collega di origine indiana) è stato chiesto il numero di stanza prima di poterci sedere, mentre al quarto collega, trentino, non è stato richiesto. Inoltre, non abbiamo osservato la stessa verifica applicata agli altri ospiti presenti in sala. Non posso conoscere il motivo di questa differenza di trattamento, ma la situazione ci ha fatto sentire a disagio e trattati diversamente dagli altri clienti. Ritengo che eventuali controlli debbano essere applicati in modo uniforme a tutti gli ospiti. Desidero inoltre segnalare che l’offerta per persone celiache a colazione è risultata piuttosto carente, soprattutto considerando l’elevato livello qualitativo del buffet destinato agli altri ospiti. Quando ho chiesto informazioni su cosa potessi consumare, mi è stato risposto che erano disponibili soltanto pane e un paio di prodotti confezionati senza glutine. Avrei apprezzato indicazioni più complete sui prodotti compatibili con una dieta per celiaci, ad esempio quali affettati, cereali o altri alimenti fossero sicuri da consumare. Una maggiore attenzione e una migliore informazione su questo aspetto contribuirebbero certamente a rendere l’esperienza più inclusiva.

Era la prima volta per noi all'Hotel Elephant! Che dire, non vediamo l'ora di tornarci. Colazione eccezionale, staff gentilissimo e struttura incantevole, con innumerevoli riferimenti "elefantini". Spa davvero di alto livello. L'ampio giardino/parchetto riservato ai soli ospiti dell'hotel posto di fronte all'edificio è una piacevolissima chicca. Su richiesta abbiamo anche ottenuto gratuitamente la Brixen Card, che ci ha permesso di utilizzare gratuitamente i mezzi pubblici della provincia e visitare il simpatico Museo della Farmacia e l'abbazia di Novacella.

Die zentrale Lage. Vor allem aber der Charme des Hotels mit einer Einrichtung, die nicht alt ist, aber an vergangene Zeiten erinnert. Wir haben das sehr genossen. Ebenfalls zu erwähnen ist die hervorragende Qualität und der Service im Hotelrestaurant, was nur noch durch das Erlebnis in der Apostelstube übertroffen wurde.

Eine separate Dusche im Badezimmer hätten wir begrüßt. Das Duschen in der Badewanne in Verbindung mit der faltbaren Duschwand hat schon etwas Akrobatik erfordert. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas größer sein. Teilweise wurde auch nicht schnell genug aufgefüllt.

Because of the heat, I had opened the window—which made the night a bit restless. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have wanted a modern air conditioner in the room.

Die großartige Kombination aus Historie und Moderne im Design und speziell im Spa Bereich. Exquisites Frühstück! Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man auf Sauberkeit, Hygiene, Eleganz und hohe Qualität bei den Speisen wert legt. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die zentrale Lage im Ort

Siamo stati 3 notti dal 14 al 17 Maggio 2026. Avevo letto di quest'Hotel in una "Guida all'Italia del cuore" del 1988 e da allora volevo andarci. Finalmente dopo aver girato il mondo ci siamo arrivati! Albergo 5* storico e di gran classe. Credo abbia mantenuto intatte le sue caratteristiche e qualità allora descritte così in modo affascinante. Curato nei dettagli, personale preparato e molto cordiale. La nostra camera "Suite Marianne" era composta da una camera matrimoniale molto ampia e un salotto altrettanto grande con un comodo divano (trasformato per una sera in un altro letto matrimoniale che ha ospitato mia figlia ). Un bagno elegante con vasca e doccia e un secondo servizio con WC e lavabo. Dalla camera si accede su un ampio terrazzo con vista sul parco e dintorni. Abbiamo cenato due sere nel loro Ristorante Stübe perchè in quello loro stellato non c'era posto. L'atmosfera trasmessa dall'impatto entrandoci era data dal calore dell'ambiente con tutte le classiche pareti e soffitto in legno scolpito raffigurante diverse scene; il personale capace, cordiale, elegante nel suo fare ed un tipico menù, ben curato che ci ha fatto uscire davvero soddisfatti. Perfetta la sala Bar, dove abbiamo bevuto i nostri aperitivi. Gentilissimo e cordiale il personale della Reception, che ci ha dato delle indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare. Qualora tornassimo a Bressanone, sicuramente terremo presente questo Hotel

Im Elephant wohnt oder übernachtet man nicht, dort residiert man. In jeder Ecke kann man die Historie des Hotels wahrnehmen. Die Lage ist ideal, in ca. 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Dombereich, wo es viele exzellente Restaurants gibt. Tipp: Finsterwirt, Traubenwirt, Kutscherhof.... Im Hotel selber gibt's die mit einem Stern ausgezeichnete Apostelstube, dort muss man allerdings weit im voraus reservieren. Daneben hat das Hotel noch das Restaurant Elephant, wo man kurzfristiger einen Platz bekommt und: Die Küche des Elephant und der Apostelstube ist die selbe. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist vielfältig, hier findet wirklich jeder was. Kaffee, Rührei mit Speck etc wird durch das sehr freundliche Personal am Platz nachgefragt und frisch zubereitet.

Gar nichts, denn besser geht's einfach nicht. Hier ist einfach alles super. Service und Leistungen sind auf höchstem Niveau.

Ich fand es etwas viel, 20 € für einen Parkplatz zu bezahlen, der draussen auf einem Kieselplatz stand. Wenn schon 20 € dann wenigstens gedeckt.

Nell’incantevole città di Bressanone, Hotel Elephant è un albergo storico, gestito dalla stessa famiglia dalla fine del 1700. Ha un’atmosfera di elegante tranquillità.

Ein ausgesprochen angenehmes Hotel mit einer schönen Atmosphäre, sehr liebevoll ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen: Eine hervorragende Küche, ebenso der Service. Die Speisekarte bietet eine schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Weinen. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Wir haben am ersten Abend im Hotel gegessen. Atmosphäre, Service, Essen absolut Top. Preis eher etwas zu teuer.

Gutes Frühstück und günstige Lage am Rand der Altstadt von Brixen

The building is itself an impressive and historic structure.

The room was sparse and despite being a recently refurbished suite it was missing furniture and basic amenities. The bedding was synthetic and not pleasant. Breakfast was a selection of cheap cakes and yoghurt with muesli. There was some cooked scrambled eggs left in a self serve bowl but they were old and dry. Coffee was terrible. Staff and service in general was poor. I asked for a couple of wine glasses to be sent to the room and was told to fetch them myself from the restaurant. The bar was not staffed, after waiting for 10 mins I had to go and get someone. Service wasn’t great at all.
