We loved the breakfast and how neat the room was. The reception was good, and there were two people whose service we personally loved. Sorry, we do not remember the names, but a black guy with curly hair (not sure of the name, but I think Bazi) when we went for breakfast and one white man with a nose piercing at the reception.

The breakfast was good, bed comfy and the staff mostly nice. It was also handy to leave the luggages before/after check in/out.

The room was a bit too small for three people (when the sofa was sperad it wasn’t possible to use the table or window), there was no space to put the luggages in the room (no cabinets for clothes etc), there was something rusty on the bathroom floor so when you put the towel after shower for your feet it got all dirty. Otherwise everything was good.

The location was very good and convenient.

There was no proper ventilation in the room. For three days I tried to explain to the staff that we had two separate reservations and wanted to stay in the same room for both nights. This had already been confirmed to me through Booking.com correspondence by Lisa, but when we arrived, nobody at the hotel seemed to know anything about it. For around €300 per night, I expected a much higher standard. In Poland, for €250–300 you can stay in a very good 5-star hotel, while here the overall standard and service were disappointing. The breakfast was so poor that we gave up on it completely and went to a bakery next door to get something better to eat. In our opinion, the hotel breakfast was below any reasonable standard, especially considering the price of the stay.

We had to be moved room as the tiles were leaking water from the floor in the bathroom and there was mean to be a baby cot in the room and there wasn’t and when we were more to a cleaner room with the baby cot the cot was missing the base so it wasn’t even usable

No me gustó el colchón que era excesivamente blando. Y eché de menos estantes o cajones o un armario aunque fuese muy pequeño para guardar las cosas.

We ended up with an accessible room ie wet room and not a shower/bathroom, so floors constantly wet and it felt like a hospital room, but clean.

The staff greeted us upon arrival was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. From the very beginning he helped us with maps and taxis. The breakfast was very good and the staff on that duty were friendly and very helpful

Scrambled eggs were a bit too soggy and are probably best being left to order for each guest, there wasn't any plant based butter placed out for vegans or those with a lactose intolerance near to full english breakfast counter and toasters

Absolutely nothing special. Hotel’s operation way below any imaginable level for the paid price.

1. Our room 605 had a tv that did not work at all 2. The A/C did not work. It was hot and stingy in the room after the first night. 3. The person that checked us in at 2:00 am, late arrival, was confused and unprofessional. 4. The toilet was not operational. It had faulty construction that did not allow a man to normally pee without spreading the urine on the toilet covers. The maintenance engineer could not fix it and stated that the entire hotel has the same problem that Holliday Inn Express has never bothered to fix. The front desk clerk who came to see it agreed that the toilet lids did not work properly. 5. To my full surprise the hair dryer was mounted permanently in room and not in the bathroom. So when i wanted to dry my hair and skin on my naked body my friend had to enjoy my naked body, front and back. I experienced this type arrangement for the first time in my life. I have been to more than 50 countries and brits do not understand basic humans needs. 6. The manager on duty must be send to the bootcamp to learn on how to provide the correct service to customers. I was totally disappointed with this lousy hotel

Had a couple of people in neighbouring rooms fighting and arguing but not hotels fault.

The location is superb, and the surrounding environment is quiet.

The buffet breakfast is average, and the juice is too diluted. If possible, I would recommend increasing the variety of dishes available. The mattresses on both the double bed and the sofa bed were too soft, likely due to normal wear and tear. As a result, neither of my family members slept well. This is my second stay at this hotel, and I remember not experiencing this issue during my first visit. Unfortunately, due to this uncomfortable experience, I may consider staying at a different hotel the next time I visit Manchester.

The room had a big glass window overlooking a busy street with a high concentration of people, so it was sometimes a bit noisy and lacked privacy.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. I planned a whole trip with a picky toddler and got his homemade meal with the intention that I have a fridge and microwave in my room. Turns out there wasn't as I didn't comfirm before booking. What could have been a nightmare for 3 days in Manchester turns out great, courtesy of the amazing staff that went out of their way and provided us with steady ice t9 preserve our meal. I truly appreciate that.

The rug in our room needs either changing or a good wash. It gives a smell i don't like

Posizione eccellente, camera spaziosa, la camera veniva rifatta ogni giorno, chech in veloce. Comodo il bar aperto fino a tarda sera. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con l'aria condizionata appena arrivati, ma subito risolto con cambio camera.

Colazione migliorabile, spesso la macchina dei pancakes (peraltro buonissimi) non era funzionante, poca scelta dolce. Quello che era disponibile però molto buono.

Le petit déjeuner est classique, assez limité en choix mais il est bon La literie et le service de nettoyage est bon. L'hotel est bien situé pour découvrir Manchester. Les transports en commun sont à qq minutes de marche de l'hotel. L'hotel est propre et calme dans son ensemble.

Nous avons signalé un problème au flexible de douche qui fuyait et beaucoup d'humidité dans la salle de bain directement après 2 minutes de douche. Nous ne pouvions pas régler la température dans la chambre. La réception nous a indiqué que le flexible serait remplacé le lendemain et que le système de ventilation fonctionnait mais rien n'a été fait sur 4 jours sur place. Le personnel d'accueil au petit-déjeuner est courtois, par contre, le personnel qui travaille dans la salle n'est pas souriant du tout. Il faisait humide dans notre chambre et cela se ressentait sur le linge.

Nel Northern Quarter, ottima posizione per girare la città e per avere buone opportunità serali (cibo, bevute, musica live). Buona colazione inclusa. Camera spaziosa, doccia grande. Sono arrivata qualche ora prima del check-in, lo staff ha verificato se la camera fosse comunque pronta e mi ha permesso di accedervi subito.

Due letti singoli invece del matrimoniale.

My husband loves city life so we try to visit Manchester at least twice a year. We stay here every time. The location is perfect for us, just slightly out the way of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are always immaculate and the breakfasts, well they are amazing. There’s everything from a buffet of a full English to continental style breakfast. There’s everything you can think of. Oh, and also all the staff are very helpful, friendly and go out of their way to help you if you need them.

I liked the location. Right near the shops and tram station. Area was pretty quiet and very clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Lovely big shower. I slept reasonably well. Bed was comfortable. I was able to leave my bag after check out for a couple of hours. I liked that our room was also ready when we checked in early. Breakfast was included and was a very large spread. Plenty to choose from.

Breakfast time gets really busy. Lots of people pushing. At first couldn’t find anywhere to sit once we had our food.

Great location, friendly service, and I rate the cleanliness of the hotel—both the room and the bathroom—very highly. Delicious buffet breakfast with a wide selection of cereals, jams, and fruit. This wasn't our first stay with this hotel chain, and we are satisfied with our visit every time.

La struttura all'ingresso presentava un forte odore di non so cosa, credo un misto tra un profumatore e odore di "chiuso". Non era molto piacevole. Moquette presente ovunque e non pulitissima. La colazione era nella media ma l'ho trovata poco saporita. La camera presentava una finestra ma non era possibile aprirla, quindi non era possibile arieggiare in alcun modo. Letto un po' scomodo.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Short walk into the main city, spa shop right next to the hotel, and in a quieter location.

The room we had was small for a twin, and it needed a little updating and tlc. But besides that everything was fine.

The location is great! There are nice restaurants nearby, and the free bus (2) took us to the train station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was nice.

The room was quite noisy; we could hear everything happening in the hallway. The breakfast was decent—a half English breakfast—but during busy times, it was difficult to find a free table. The staff were doing their best, but the situation was chaotic, with a lack of clean spoons and napkins, and just a few pieces of fruit available. The pillows were too high, and the soft ones weren't as soft as expected, which caused neck pain for both me and my partner. When we asked for different pillows, the staff informed us they were not available. Additionally, the room had a strange smell that I couldn't identify.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Its central location made it so easy to explore the city, breakfast was fresh and plentiful and beds were very comfortable. All staff were polite and helpful.

Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena is close to Piccadilly Railway Station in Manchester. Taxis were available right outside the station, and for a very nominal fare, we reached the hotel easily. People with less luggage can easily walk to the hotel from the station. The main shopping area is very close. Lots of restaurants (with halal food choices) are also within walking distance. The hotel itself is very comfortable, quiet and clean. The room was large and the same as shown in the pictures. The staff is very cooperative and courteous. Frankie and Steph made our check-in quick and easy. The breakfast room was spacious, well-lit, and the spread was very good.
