Something is quite wrong about the flushing systems in the toilet. It made odd noise at night and we had to move to another room because our toilet was faulty

Dim Lighting Very few speaks English I couldn't access the pool due to stairs (very risky and slippery without even handles) Breakfast buffet is not match for the hotel name Room's fridge smells..unpleasant

The Kempinski is in a great location, close to the metro and to many amenities. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Service is impeccable. The rooms are especially comfortable and with amazing views of the city. Breakfast was one of the best I have experienced and the space was extremely elegant. Top notch!

Rooms are spacious, aircon was working well. View from the hotel is amazing and the location is great. The hotel needs some little renovation.

Breakfast was just OK. Great selection, but the quality of the food was rather disappointing. Focus on less, but better quality items. We needed to use translator for everything. You would expect hotel of this caliber to have staff speaking English at least in reception.

Breakfast so good so many choices! Hotel Location is one of the best , I walked 筼筜湖& 白鹭州公园 everyday during my stay at this hotel . Also very close to the best mall in Xiamen 万象城. Walking distance to 禾祥西路，so many good eats that area!

This hotel and the staff were, once again, perfect. Great location, in the middle of most things. Lovely, quiet hotel with helpful staff who go the extra mile, especially Linda who helped me out on a number of occasions. Thanks again and I hope to be back again soon!

I travel a lot around the world due to my work and vacation and can say Kempinski Xiamen in my mind, ranks near the top, in terms of the hotel facilities, cleanliness, surrounding green environment and nearby malls. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, with a guest focus and desire to help and provide a good service.. I had some issues with my mobile sim as well as some logistic issues. The Guest relation Manager, Patrick, went out of his way to help me solve the issues promptly. The breakfast was impressive with western dishes and some regional Fujian dishes. The end result was, I extended my stay in Kempinski. I would highly recommend this hotel.

There is a good tepankaki restaurant in the hotel that's was good value for money. There are also good views from the room windows.

Superbe hôtel. Chambre magnifique et petit déjeuner au top. Piscine de 25 m, bien agréable après une grosse journée. Mention spéciale à la cheffe de partie de la salle à manger qui parle couramment anglais et est très serviable.

Rares sont les membres du personnel qui parlent anglais.

J’y suis résider en 2025, c’est vraiment agréable, propre, petit déjeuné très varié

Ms Liliy Pan, spoken to us about stay on the 20 Mar. which was a big surprise to me. She was helpful and informative too

The front counter check out staff on 24 Mar at 930am. not able to handle customer and calls. Need to better to task and customer management Mr Winson, on the 21 Mar also took a long time to get my booking reservation found.

The front desk upon check in was very slow and poor service, I waited over 15 minutes to be checked in, not something you want to do after an international flight. the hotel is now getting tired, and I have stayed there before, but not again.

This hotel is now tired and has been overtaken by new offerings. A refurbishment of the premises and management will help. The Kempinski brand is one of my favourites, but not the Xiamen offering. Staff do not seem motivated, check in was a slow experience. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Food offerings are good but not memorable.

Great location and an architecturally interesting hotel The room was nice but the bathtub drain was broken There was poor communication from the reception staff For Hilton which has been my favorite brand so far the experience was not the best compared to other countries

Poor welcome and an overall disappointing experience The check in felt unprofessional and there was a lack of basic information about the hotel’s services and facilities which is something you would expect at this level During breakfast one staff member in particular behaved in an unprofessional way While it was only one person it negatively affected the overall impression The pool was also cold which made it uncomfortable to use The most serious issue happened when the hotel arranged a taxi for me The driver scammed me by demanding double payment claiming he had no change and manipulating the situation I wanted to give him the correct amount but I was missing just 2 yuan and he insisted aggressively He became confrontational and even looked into my wallet which was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate This left a very bad final impression I do not understand why the hotel uses these specific brown taxis instead of standard city taxis which I used throughout my stay in Xiamen without any issues The driver should be reported and penalized This incident took place on March 9 at around 9 45 am Overall a very negative experience especially at the end of the stay

The gym and pool were good. Hours were long. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, old but everything worked well.

Location was a bit far from nearst mall. Some of the concierge staff were very young.. They were friendly, helpful but not very experienced. Some are lacking in local information.

Front desk staff very professional and cordial. Location quite good.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. Primary problem is they disable air conditioning except during peak summer. Consequently room was too hot to sleep well ( AVG 25 Deg C night) and unbearable during day to work. Strongly complained to management multiple times. Only adjustment they would make is turn on AC for short time to cool the room, but then it is disabled again and room becomes too hot again. This hotel advertises that rooms have AC but they intentionally disable it. After 3rd complaint I was told it was hotel policy. Booking.com should NOT sell rooms that are falsely advertised

Need to renovate. It's a stunning building, in a perfect place but it looks so old and worn.

The room was very nice and big with great views. Staff were always very courteous, and although language was sometimes a problem, they did their best to be hospitable and very professional.

You could smell the smoke often in the hall ways and near the rooms. would have been great to be on a smoke free floor.

Asking to deposit security that huge amount seems to be unreasonable It shows your lack of trust on your customer I stayed earlier also in some other countries but nowhere this was asked

This is our second stay at Kempinski. We love this hotel, amenities and staff. The rooms are large, the food is wonderful and we especially love the massive indoor heated pool. My wife and I never want to leave. I think it's the best value in the world and I travel a lot. Thank you to everyone that always takes such good care of us here. We'll be back very soon!

As GHA Titanium member, we were upgraded to a club room and were given club access, which we enjoyed. hotel drop-off was not available during our arrival. we had to park in the basement, walk quite far to the lift, and bring our own luggage up from there Lounge only had one choice of fruit juice. Maybe more choices of fruit juice would be good. Tea selection was not available during evening canapés/happy hour, and staff seemed unsure of what tea was available. Would also be nice if hot cocoa/hot chocolate was available Room had strong smoke smell. Perhaps crackdown harder on people smoking in the hotel rooms. Apart from that, we had a great experience, the front desk staff were all very friendly, room was very nice, view was great Overall, This was a much better then an earlier stay that we had at the Guangzhou Kempinski Residences. I feel that the Kempinski Xiamen is definitely befitting of a Kempinski brand. It is a model that other Kempinski hotels should strive to follow. Breakfast had a large quantity of food and Sunny at the restaurant was very flexible and friendly, clears plates timely, able to make hot chocolate (other staffs couldn't, and there was one breakfast staff who was very inflexible) Mark Ma gave us more coffee to drink when he knew we drank a lot Cleaner Jiang Zhu decorated our room and left us a nice message, which was very sweet of her. We are very pleased with our stay at Kempinski Xiamen, and we would definitely return if we have the same benefits as this stay. 作为GHA钛金卡会员，我们被升级到行政楼房，也有行政酒郎待遇。前台服务也很周到，还给我们茶喝。我们很满意 抵达酒店的时候，大堂外没能停车的地方。导致我们要在地下库停车，走一段路到电梯，然后自己把行李带上去。可能当时住客比较多。 行政酒郎的果汁只有一个选择。可以有多一点不同的果汁。茶在开胃餐时就没有了。员工也不清楚行政酒郎有哪种茶。如果有热可可/热巧克力就会很好。但是，开胃餐的食物很不错 房间的烟味很重。可能酒店可以采取一些更较有效的措施来防止客人在房间里面吸烟。 除此之外，我们入住的体验非常棒，前台很友善，风景很不错，房间也很舒适。 总体来说，这跟我们在同期时住的广州凯宾斯基简直是天壤之别。厦门的凯宾斯基非常像样，真的是给凯宾斯基集团长脸。简直是一个楷模。 其他的凯宾斯基应该尽量多模仿，多学学。 关于早餐，食物有很多选择。Sunny 能变通，很友善，清理很快，会弄热巧克力 （其它员工不会。我们还在早餐时候遇到一个非常死板的员工）。 Mark ma 知道我们喜欢喝咖啡，就给了我们很多 姜诛帮我们装饰房间，也留了一封信给我们。非常贴心 我们对这次的入住体验非常满意。假如能一直有同样的待遇和好处的话，我们一定毫不犹豫的回来。
