Great view over the ocean. A cozy apartment with all the facilities that you need. The property's cat Pepita was the cutest and came to visit us every morning and night :) Would absolutely stay here again!

La vue, la propreté de la chambre, le personnel plutôt conciliant, le chat.

L'environnement autour de cet hôtel qui est glauque à n'en plus pouvoir. Plus particulièrement le chien qui a aboyé une nuit entière sans interruption !!! Il n'est pas normal qu'en tant que résidence hôtelière, les propriétaires n'aient pas fait quelque chose avec les voisins pour que la nuit puisse être silencieuse !! Je n'ai absolument pas pu dormir la dernière nuit à cause de ce chien et vous pourrez trouver d'autres commentaires qui viennent confirmer mes propos. Il a commencé à aboyer dès 21h30 et il ne s'est pas arrêté depuis !!! Si vous voulez dormir paisiblement, ne serait ce qu'une heure et demie, passez votre chemin et allez dans un autre hôtel.

Located right on the water at Simpson Bay, but not really beach access. Beach access is 100 feet left or right from location. Several condo units in the same Tradewinds Apartments. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and SXM airport only 10 minute taxi ride away.

I really enjoy plane spotting but if you don't, all the aircraft depart either left or right or the Simpson Bay area so could be a drawback.

Great location easy to walk to food and nightlife.

Street in front was quite small and a little dirty. There was an early morning rooster I wanted to murder, but what can Tradewinds do about that?!😁

The location, the property is a beautiful little apartment complex in the hustle and bustle of Simpson Bay.

The bed was not very comfortable and I would recommend investing in better linen especially the sheets.

Facilities and sea view were good

Unfortunately each night during our stay we were subjected to very loud noise (music) from a nearby bar which continued from 8 pm until 3 am or later. We were advised by our neighbours that this happened every night, and they too were disturbed by the noise. After three sleepless night we checked out early and found a quieter place to stay. We are still waiting for the promised refund for the unused part of our original booking.

All in all it was a wonderful stay! Hugo is an amazing host, definitely would recommend this place!

Muchas Gracias Hugo y Adrian, they are so welcoming and friendly and thank you for arranging early check in and late check out to suit our travel plans. Everything was perfect. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, and a very comfortable large bed. The location was also ideal for us and the pool area is lovely. We also loved all the Christmas lights that decorated the property at night. We will recommend you and will return.

Everything was amazing! Hugo was an incredible host (also Pepita 🐱). Communication was clear, and we were provided with great recommendations of what to do in St Maarten. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and conveniently located in Simpson Bay.

Das Apartment war geräumig, das Bett bequem. Das Highlight war die große Terrasse direkt am Meer. Es war sehr ruhig. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und hatten gute Unterstützung bei der Organisation eines Taxis. Es sind zu Fuß viele Restaurants, Bars und kleine Supermärkte erreichbar. Sehr gut fanden wir Secret Seafood gleich nebenan. Man kann zu Fuß in ca. 1 Stunde zum Maho Beach gehen und mit dem Minibus nach Phillipsburg fahren.

Es sollte etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck zur Verfügung stehen (jeweils St. 3 von allem).

Cleanliness top tier and Hugo was simply amazing! My communication with them was so professional and they met all my needs with such ease and convenience. I literally wish I never liked this place so much cause can this be even real! I didn’t “like” anything I LOVED EVERYTHING!

That I didn’t book my whole stay with them! That I didn’t stumble sooner!

L'endroit est superbement bien situé, on est près de tout. Les divers restaurants et bars, super marché, plage, le centre-ville, le shopping, le cinéma, etc. L'aéroport est à 10 min en voiture, le logement est impéccable, la vue sur la mer, la plage accessible juste derrière, lee couchers de soleil à couper le souffle, le calme, la paix, la gentillesse du personnel, j'ai rien a dire. Un merci a Hugo qui était présent, gentil, efficace. Un coup de coeur et nous avons super hâte d'y retourner. Aucune mauvaise note, tout était parfait❤️ merci à tous pour le merveilleux souvenir

Breakfast was not included but the location was excellent. It was easy access to everything, even night life. The hosts were very hospitable and understanding. Hosts were also very helpful in giving us information about how to get around since we didn't have a car.

The facilities were great, the apartments very well located and the views beautiful. The staff was wonderful and very kind.

If you are sensitive to noise, and the bar next door is open, you will hear music and people talking in the evening. If it’s windy, you’ll hear the tree branches hit the roof throughout the night too as well as the roosters in the morning.

The property is extremely modern! It is a short drive to the airport. It is near a beautiful seafood restaurant on the water. In addition, if you don’t mind walking, it is a short walking distance to Kim sha Beach! The owner and housekeepers are excellent and very kind! Even Tony the taxi driver was amazing….I will return. I stayed here with my two daughters, my 16 year old and my 15 month year old. The area is extremely safe!!!

If you have never traveled the Caribbean, you may be thrown off by chickens and dogs who roam on the street. Also, there are a few ruins and locals who have not renovated their property. It was great for me, as I travel a lot. It’s so much rich culture!!!

I loved the localisation. The appartement was very nice. And pépita the cat of the residence makes me feel like at home :)

This is a great vacation spot in Simpson Bay. My wife and I celebrated our 25th here. The location and views are perfect. Walking distance to everything Simpson Bay and a great starting point for the whole island ( you need a car). Accommodations are as they look in the photos and the owners are attentive to all needs. Fully recommend. You won’t go wrong.

This was our second year at Tradewinds and won’t be our last. Love staying here. Peaceful, relaxing and love just watching the boats and hearing the waves. Near everything but not bothered by large groups. Love this place.

We loved our stay, the place is beautiful! We hung out a lot by the swimming pool. They put up a perfect baby bed for fee 🙏🏼 When there was a problem with our payment Booking sent a scary email that our reservation could be canceled, but the owner very kindly stopped by on our final day so we could pay in person. He also let us checkout later, which was perfect considering our baby's nap time. We love this kind of trust and care from a host! Would definitely recommend this place. We also loved the cat Pepita!

There were unfortunately some really loud neighbours playing music in the night, the host of course can't help that! So if you read this, please take into consideration there are other guests 🙏🏼 And not everyone enjoys your techno and whatever you're smoking when peacefully watching the sunset ✌🏼

Very good location. Friendly welcome, clean and good sized appartement, excellent view.

With a direct access to the beach it would even be better. There is a gate, but it seems the sea had eaten the stairs. Anyway, you walk five houses to the left and can access the beach.

We had to clean the property ourselves. No dryer on site.

I was staying for two days of business. But the apartment is very well located on Simpson bay. Close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

The location was great. Very close to the airport, and right on the beach. There were also many great restaurants within walking distance. There was also caretaker on the premises.

There is currently construction nearby but does not take away from the property but there is noise during the day.

Adrian and the manager were very accommodating and the stay was amazing. Close to everything and can walk to shops and restaurants. We got the 2 bedroom first floor unit and it was very clean and smell good. Definitely recommend to families, couples etc.

Cute and quiet hotel. Plenty of privacy. Short walk to the strip with restaurants and bars. Little parking options but worth the stay!!

Tradewinds was a great place to stay. it was close to dining and grocery shopping. It was very clean and Hugo was very helpful if you needed anything. It was beautiful to watch the sunset from the deck.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, good internet, good location near town & perfect studio apartment for working. Great value for money.

There’s no access to the beach from the apartment. Some noise at night coming from neighbour bars/restaurants. Shower water pressure is a little weak.
