Green View Hotel Near Dartford

Positives were large room , with a full size fridge and good walk in shower

1, the beds were extremely hard, pillows were lumpy, no mattress protectors. 2, tap in bathroom was loose, there was a leak from the heated radiator which wasn't heated ! , rain coming through the air vent in bathroom ! 3, blind on window didn't work properly 4, large stain on carpet 5,holes in wall 6, floating shelf was hanging off 7, glass shelf was missing in the bathroom, with fittings sticking out ! We later found the glass shelf in a drawer, dangerous! 8, no fire evacuation plan in our room , this became worrying feature as the fire alarms went off twice! We were on the top floor , ! 9. Reception was not manned till later in the day no one to report to 10 a lot of building work is going on next door which belongs to the hotel the noise was awful 😖 11, the walls are paper thin , you can literally hear people's conversations!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The location was out of the way in a small village, so I thought it would be ideal for a relaxing overnight stay.

Paper-thin walls, you can hear absolutely everything, when I was walking to my room for the first time, I instantly knew what I was letting myself in for - either a couple were enjoying their room a bit too much, or a lonely man was watching his favourite adult movie a bit too loudly - you can imagine the rest! Woken at 1am by a couple laughing far too loudly in the room next door, woken at 3:30am to a couple arguing outside, and once I had actually had a few hours of sleep, by 6:30am I also had the pleasure of hearing another female banging things shouting at the top of her lungs to who I assume is her partner about how he should stop talking to other girls. When I left in the morning, someone had dinged my brand new car’s door so that’s an additional frustration I have to endure. If I wanted this kind of drama, I would have stayed at home and watched Eastenders.

The bathroom is OK as it's fairly new.

It was convenient for my travel needs, the room was nice and clean, the en-suite was just what I needed, and the bed was comfortable

There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, when I opened the door something fell out. Carpet had stains, fridge freezer was dirty and toilet had old marks. They’re obviously mid renovation, no noise disturbance but rooms need tlc and a bit more thought like can’t fill the kettle because it doesn’t fit in the sink and placement of mirrors etc

Location was close to Bluewater and hangloose where we were.

Uncomfortable beds with bumps in mattress. Lots of dust and white marks on cushions and curtains. Late night guests that made lots of *noise* through very thin walls, and their *movements* which also made our door shudder constantly. At check in we were told our room had leaking AC and so did the others but they did manage to find us a small room with a working AC. The wall however was marked brown all down it underneath so had clearly also been leaking. Also worth noting that the water bottle provided in room had been re-sealed and there was a very odd smell.

Great place to stay when you working or on business. A little far to walk to pubs, restaurants. 1 mile from a shop and a couple of takeaways next door. Much much nicer amd totally worth staying if you want a break from Darford Central hotels. The name and view actually match.

I arrived at the hotel following a long drive from Scotland to Kent and expected to be able to have a meal in the hotel but the cafe area was undergoing a long refurbishment, so I had to travel into town to find an Inn/restaurant serving meals. I also asked about breakfast and the member of staff was a bit off hand and said that they didn't do breakfast. However they reluctantly agreed to provide a full english. The advert in Booking . com is misleading, since the cafe/restaurants are not open.

Big room with aircon, fridge and cooker.

The hotel was very noisy. We had an awful night; crying babies, loud tv, loud talking, thumping, banging doors… The bed was too short for me (167cm) and my husband (190cm), we had to put our camping mat on the floor to get some sleep.

Really good budget hotel, uncle at the front was very nice. Air con inside the room was fantastic. Free parking with lots of spaces.

A shame the restaurant next door closed down!

The restaurant was closed and the takeaway nearby the food was rubbish for the money and the takeaway breakfast well I won’t even call it breakfast they could have offered a early breakfast for early check out

Room was very good value for money and had everything I needed. Air con was a god send and had plenty of free parking

No eating facilities or bar. However Longfield was only a five minute drive away where there were plenty of restaurants, takeaways and places to have a drink

Quiet location. Friendly staff. There was a fridge and air con, a kettle, cups and tea/coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the lack of noise. Liked our ground floor room.

The room was advertised as having a garden view but there was no garden. However, not exactly the end of the world because it was quiet which is what we had hoped for. The radiator in the bathroom could not be turned off or down and burnt to the touch, so I hung out towels over it. There were no toiletries, as advertised, in the bathroom. No hairdryer either but we were given one on request. The shower stall was very slippery to stand in but it was a good shower. Room a little ‘tired’ but large and comfortable. Disappointed the restaurant appeared to be permanently closed. Disappointed (a) our charge was more than that currently advertised (b) we were charged in advance. I expect to pay on arrival and would not stay again if expected to pay before arrival.

TV didn’t work properly , bed was a bit hard.

The sheets were dirty, downstairs was a building site, the Indian restaurant had been closed down for hygiene reasons and when I asked for my money back so I could go somewhere else as it was so poor they marked me as a no show so I’ve now paid twice. Avoid this place like the plague it is awful

Everything, the staff were warm and friendly, the cooked fresh breakfast was excellent! I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting London 💯😍

Place was nice, big room. Had air con, fridge, table and chairs. It was very comfortable and staff were helpful. There's also a microwave downstairs people can use.

Being a restaurant downstairs it was a little noisy up to almost 2am. Other than that nothing else I would say about this place

A fantastically appointed room - fantastic to have both a fridge and an air conditioning unit in the room which were amazing bonuses. Gorgeous modern bathroom with a super shower.

My only gripe was there wasn't a hairdryer in the room (but thats only because I forgot my own!)

The air conditioning was an absolute joy after a hot day's racing at Brands Hatch.

It was a really large room with an excellent shower.

The blind didn't work very well. Bedside cabinet was damaged.

Keine klare Adresse. Ohne Hilfe von Einwohnern hätte ich das Hotel nicht finden können. 1. Tag: kein Frühstück weil Rezeption nur stundenweise besetzt war. 2.Tag: englisches Frühstück, erübrigt sich jeder Kommentar 3. Tag: Frühstück wurde in einer Tüte gebracht, Abends um 22.30 Uhr. Was soll das? Zimmer wurde nicht aufgeräumt, Betten wurden 3 Tage nicht gemacht. kein Reinigungspersonal, keine frischen Handtücher Für über 110 € die Nacht, bei diesem Service, masslos überteuert. Mikrowelle auf dem Flur, ebenso wie ein Toaster und den "Kaffee" kann man sich auf dem Zimmer machen, Heisswasserkocher vorhanden. Instant Kaffee aus der Tüte. Wie das Haus 3 Sterne bekommt ist mir ein Rätsel Im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels mit 3*** das schlechteste in dem ich bisher war.

It's worth the money and the location is good. near by motorways and near to city as well. The cleaniness also okay.

The AC (Air-conditioner) is not working in our rooms. we went there on summer, when the climate is 30 degree, really a hot sunny. when we enter the room, it's full of cooling and chillnbess. once we check in and start sleps by the mid night they turned off the AC. The room became Oven then. we all were sweting. When we tried to reach the reception, No one is there., I know everyone needs sleep, but at least they wouldn't have switch off the AC. we took several rooms, all the rooms were smae. AC turned off after 12:00 at midnight. This made us really a horrible night for us. other than this everything was so good. Thank you and sorry if I hurted you, but this too - Green view managemnet please care about the AC as well..

The bed was too short. I am only 5f5 and my feet were touching the end of the bed. The bed was very uncomfortable and not of hotel quality. More like a build your own from Argos. The award winning restaurant was under refurbishment but according to locals it has been closed for many years. The hotel has no bar and the two eateries next door do not sell alcohole either We could not have breakfast in the morning as the kitchen was closed (on Monday morning). We had to travel a good distance to find a pub, however they had stopped serving food at 4pm. Therefore, we did not manage to find any where to eat our evening meal. The hotel does not offer a vending machine or snacks/drinks to purchase. We paid for rent of a bed really and even that was so uncomfortable I didnt sleep and had a bad back the following day.

Basic room on a budget, shower with clean towel and toilet, zero toiletries so you will need to bring your own soap etc.

Room was too warm hard to sleep! Aircon switched on but absolutely didn't work at all! Room above you could hear noise easily, even could hear them snoring in our room at night!

Good location

Like - very little to like. A sparsely appointed and poorly prepared room and no other facilities. Staff noticeable by their absence and having to dialma phone to get service is mot worth £140+ per night.

Parking was good but then it went downhill fast. Certainly not worth the money asked. No restaurant, no breakfast - not even emergency proceddure notices or any other information on rooms.
