Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Everything at the property is amazing and well maintained. The staff is really very friendly with everyone. The entertainment team is also amazing with kids and families.
The connectivity is bit tough with no bus connectivity. You will always have to take cab and the nearest bus stop is 1.2mi.
There was an issue with the WiFi. There is no information and how we connect, and we are not able to use wifi during our stay. When at the reception it will connect when we go to our rooms it doesn't show the name they are asking to connect
St Ives was excellent. The entertainment was very well organised, and my whole family absolutely loved it. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and well looked after, and we really enjoyed our stay.
The only downside was the small foldable beds, which were not very comfortable, especially for a longer stay. It would be great if these could be replaced with stronger, more supportive beds to make the stay even more comfortable.
The park is beautiful! Very quiet and clean! The staff are absolutely amazing, they cannot do more for you. Perfect location to St ives town, Perranporth, Newquay, penzance etc! The caravan was very large with a great decking area! We will definitely be back again as the park is lovely! The new swimming pool is fantastic although definitely requires lockers so stuff isn't left around the outside of the pool
We stayed in caravan number 3 with our nearly 2 year old. This van is definitely not child friendly. Cleaning products left in bottom cupboards, a very low fire in the living room, sharp edges etc. There was a large piece of metal sticking out the bottom of the master bedroom door that my baby caught her toe on and the door handle into the second bedroom was upside down and the bathroom door didn't open properly but once we let the park know the staff were amazing and came and fixed it all straight away! There was no gate on the wrap around decking so couldn't sit outside with the baby. Very heavily stained carpet and sofa. For a gold caravan we expected it to be a little more cleaner and up to date. I understand we were self catering but no tea, coffee or sugar was a little shocking as these do usually come as standard. The majority of the blinds didn't work either so some had to be left down permanently.
Central location to get in and around other towns.
Too many cobwebs around the allocated property.
性價比及位置非常滿意,員工態度非常良好!
屋內傳出陣陣噏味,地板非常污糟,又找不到清潔用品,如吸麈機或地拖,期望屋內清潔有待改善!
Location of caravan and caravan facilities.
Lack of seating for entertainment, reported a broken handle on arrival, advised it would be fixed. Unfortunately this did not happen so we couldn't close the bedroom door otherwise we wouldn't be able to get out .
Nothing terrible
Everything filthy cabin no fit for purpose. Nothing on the park the entertainment area was small not big enough for all the families on the park. Onsite shops terrible nothing stocked.
Nothing
Dear John Fowler team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent stay at St Ives Holiday Village, booking reference no....... and to request appropriate compensation for the significant delay in providing our accommodation. We arrived at the holiday village at 3:48 pm, having travelled for approximately six hours to reach Cornwall. Despite the long journey, we were not provided with the accommodation keys until approximately 5:48 pm, meaning we had to wait around two additional hours before we could access our accommodation. This was particularly difficult because our group included young children as well as senior citizens. After an already lengthy six-hour journey, asking children and elderly members of the group to wait for a further two hours was extremely difficult and frustrating to manage. We had reasonably expected that, on arrival, we would be able to settle into the accommodation and allow everyone to rest after the journey. What made the situation even more disappointing was the lack of clear and timely communication from the reception team. During the two-hour wait, we were unable to obtain any firm update about when the accommodation would actually be ready. We appreciate that there can occasionally be unforeseen delays, but the absence of a clear update or realistic timeframe made the situation considerably worse. Given the circumstances, I would like you to formally review the delay and provide appropriate compensation/delay repayment for the two-hour delay. I believe some meaningful compensation is warranted, particularly considering the length of our journey and the fact that the group included both children and senior citizens. I would also like to raise a separate but important *health and safety concern* regarding the accommodation. One of the chairs provided is broken and could potentially be dangerous.
The water pressure wasn’t good
The property was very dirty and smelled of damp. When we arrived we noticed plenty of spiderwebs all over the celling in the kitchen. When we were sitting on the sofa, plenty of spiders started coming out and crawling on us, which completely ruined the stay for me as I’m scared of spiders. Until the end of the stay, I did not sit on the sofa. Spiders were also behind the toilet and on the ceiling in the shower. On the top of that, on the bathroom floor, there were slugs!! Bedsheets need changing too as all were covered in yellow stains. Also, house was a bit cold in the morning, we did have an electric heater provided in the room where we slept but there were NO SOCKETS TO PLUG IT IN!! In the end, we spent most of the time outside and only came back to the accommodation very late, to spend as little time as possible in this dirty place. Equipment in the house itself needs to be refreshed too. However the biggest concern here is cleanliness because even for the price we paid, it was unacceptable.
The property had the basics for the holiday. We didn't struggle.
Despite of being "summer" time. the evening was a bit chilly and only one radiator out of the three was working. We had another two radiators in the property but none of the worked. We had an unfortunate situation during our stay which my husband did a cashback purchase at the bar with his personal debit card that he hardly use and on the same night he had a shopping at Footlocker in the amount of £45 done through his card, late in the evening when we were already in the property watching telly. He started to sort that out with hi bank at the same time he got the message from the bank alerting the purchase. He wrote an email to the manager of the property and until now, one week later no one has contacted him/us to understand what happened. After this purchase on his card we stopped with any expense at the bar. That was deeply frustrating and annoying.
Immaculate, high spec, everything you could possibly need
No bath but that’s just me 🤣
Nice place
Very Dirty, a lot of hair stuck to the carpet
Too Dirty, a lot of hair stuck to the carpet
The location and landscape are particularly beautiful.
It was equipped with everything you need. It was clean and tidy.
N/A
Stunning, in the wilderness, listening to owls on a night, the caravan was amazing we originally had a gold caravan but had to downgrade as we needed to bring our dog so we downgraded to a silver and wow if that is a downgrade I would love to see what a gold caravan looks like
Everything
Good value for money
Easy
Is a very calm area and the property was very nice, very welcoming. I’ll really enjoyed the time spent there.
There are no toilet brushes in the toilet
Great location to explore st ives area , great parking .
Beds could be a tad more comfortable.
Good value for money location good would be lovely christmas time
Its felt damp im the lodge. No mould or anything just felt damp. I would take my own bedding next time
Its a budget friendly place to stay, relatively clean but could do with a bit of an update particularly on the chalets. It was a good location, close enough to beaches and a bus service goes from there so you don't have to drive.
There was nothing really for teens to do (we had 2 with us), considering the size of the park the entertainment area was not big enough for everyone to get a seat and the entertainment itself was not very entertaining, the arcade wasn't great, there is only one place to order food and they either had an hours wait on or they forgot your order completely so you still had to wait over an hour and the food wasn't very good. The on site shop is minimal and quite expensive, swimming pool was freezing and tiny. The chalet we stayed in had paint peeling off of the ceiling and no plug sockets in the second bedroom so an already small space became smaller with everyone having to share a room to get ready in.
The location was perfect, near St Ives and Carbis Bay beach
The chalet was not clean, the dishwasher smelled mould and the fridge door had traces of mould. The floor felt sticky.
At a distance, the lodge looks great, nice, modern, and has a quite spacious living area and kitchen. The location is very good, with a bus stop directly outside and a handy on-site shop. The evening entertainment was okay too. While swimming was always fully booked on the app, a lovely lady on the staff managed to fit our group in, which we really appreciated. Additionally, even though the TV wasn't there to begin with, the maintenance team was highly responsive and quickly brought in and installed a brand-new one in the master bedroom. It has great potential, and we would definitely consider returning to a Gold or higher lodge in the future, hoping the housekeeping is improved.
While we understand the lodge is in the woods, it requires a much better deep clean before visitors enter. The modern look was let down by several issues: Interior: Cobwebs hung everywhere (corners, around the bed, and above our heads), with thick dust and dead, squatted flies/spiders left on the ceilings and blinds. Furniture: The fabric sofas were heavily stained and, along with the carpeted areas and curtains, are in desperate need of a deep clean. Exterior: The decking had bird droppings everywhere, and thick webs hung from the picnic benches; a jet blaster is needed. Maintenance: Although maintenance came a few days in and fitted a new outside light for us, it still wasn't bright enough. This left the area pitch black and made it difficult when returning to the lodge at night.
Clean, comfy and private
A little lacking in kitchen equipment, chopping boards, tongs etc
Spacious and had everything we needed, clean and tidy
Nothing
The location was fine
The apartment was out of date, it had mould on the corners from the bedrooms to the bathroom and toilet. There were spider webs in the bedroom corners, the carpet felt damp and sticky, it looked dirty and could do with a change. The whole apartment had a foul smell, we asked for a change and were told there were no chalets to swap with. I used my cleaning products to cleanup before settling in! We spent most of days outside which was nice but coming back to the apartment was no fun!
We had our privacy, the place was clean and family friendly
You only had one slot 45 min a day to use the swimming pool
Location was good, property was close to club house plenty of parking.
Bed sheet was dirty. Needed new ones. Telly didn’t work kept cutting out.
The vans were all nice we had 3 of them all near each other. Was clean cosy and well looked after
Nothing really
Good entertainment nice location
Accomadation wasnt very clean stained matress no potective cover on materess floors stained and unhoovered showers dirty
Great location
The location and it was nice and quiet
I didn’t like the beds and carpet the caravan smells so bad and the bedding was really smelly, the bed wasn’t comfortable. And we had a slug coming inside the caravan through the side door and we we didn’t like that. I wish it was more clean.
Caravan was in a great location with just a short drive to places of interest. We had lots of days out and explored the local areas. The caravan was really spacious which was great as we took our greyhound dog with us. The caravan was modern with lots of storage space, the shower was good, a big sized fridge freezer, private decking/balcony and a very large TV on the wall in the living room. It was good value for money as we stayed during peak season August. The entertainment on the site was good - the stripey team were surprisingly very good singers and the visiting act Ska Struck were brilliant. The entertainment bar was dog friendly which was a bonus.
Booking.com stated dog friendly but that didn't guarantee a dog friendly caravan and was misleading. When the confirmation came through the accomodation wasn't noted as dog friendly. Luckily when I rang John Fowler site they had suitable accommodation for an additional £80. Not ideal to have cream carpets in the living room, passage and bedrooms of a dog friendly caravan. I didn't like the vertical blinds, especially on the main door and french doors in the living room as they were a hazard for our dog getting tangled in them (and also if staying with small children). Didn't get much quality sleep as the mattresses were poor quality on all beds which was a shame as the rest of the caravan was of a high standard. The shop on site didn't stock a big range but luckily the Asda in Hayle was a short drive away.
Clean caravan and park, bus route in site for easy travel. WiFi included, mart TV, dishwasher, discos for kids at night but music was really loud. Beds and linen were actually really nice and soft.
Pillows smelled like wet dog tere should be caravan for use with pets and without. water pressure was shocking it took ages to have a shower or fill the kettle. We had a loose dog on the park and I'm petrified of dogs after an attack and it was aggressive. Need a bigger park for kids and just better facilities for its size WiFi could be better positioned as it's low and obstructed so not great in bedroom
the WIFI was brilliant in the chalet.
went we arrived the chalet, it smelt of bleach, the day after we figured out why. the bleach covered the smell of urine. we were glad it was warm so the door and windows where open the entire time we were in the chalet.
I like the location between trees, you feel like in the park. All facilities are there, we have wi-fi, smart tv, all kitchen appliances in the chalet. On site is a bar, restaurant, small shop.
Very small bedrooms, just enough space to get in between bed and wall, second bedroom have two small single beds, we stay with 15 years old daughter and the bed is too small for teens, only suit for children. Shower enclosure in bathroom also small about 26”x26” square, so for bigger lad is difficult to take proper shower.
The staff
Very convenient location enabling us to use buses daily with ease from the site . Well organised swim sessions bookable in advance
We arrived at our allocated time , checked in took keys and started unloading to find the cleaners were no where near finished
Beautiful clean pool area and facilities area.
Room wasn't very clean and had a sickly smell to it. Wasn't very clean utensils etc and living space. Room got too hot hard to cool down. Not much to do same thing each night which was good 4 us as we used as a Base. But if your intending on going to spend time there you would be bored.
Location
No help, no clear instructions, no facilities… 4/10
We booked gold bungalow but property was in very bad condition all furniture inside has dust and not maintained properly
Property was in bad condition and there was no support from staff
Lovely spacing in between accommodations. Your own little space Loved it xx
The children love the hot tub. The property looks very presentable. It has tv in the living room and bedroom. It’s a very cosy nice looking place and location is amazing. The WiFi was extremely helpful. Staff were very friendly and mostly cheerful. The children enjoyed riding up and down the village. Best choice to bring the bicycles. The pod is close to everything and I drove everywhere for comfort. Asda is about 6mins drive and the best beach, if you ask me is about 4mins drive from there. The best car park to this beach is further in and not the first car park you see. Land’s end is about 35-40mins drive from the pod. Amazing!!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳Carbis bay is about 6mins drive from the pod. Pretty at this beach. Better to park down that steep hill very close to one of the beach entrance and exit. Also close to everything else essential. Be ready to spend for parking though. The pod’s kitchen is equipped with everything. I think I’ll try for one with washing machine and dishwasher next time, if I would. My last minute booking didn’t give me much choice but I like the choice nonetheless. I was pleased with the normal setup. The space is intimate and makes bonding easy. It is sound proof.
We were out till very late on our first day. We returned to the pod of slugs. Errrk! I went alone with three children. I hate slugs and I had to make sure my 1year old is not swimming on the floor with them. They roamed freely around the pod like it’s their meeting place. Pod 282. Argh! I was instantly uncomfortable and yukked up! 4nights in slug village. The reception was obviously shut after our exploration time, so couldn’t report that night. We summoned the courage to go to out the next day and managed to report it. Ugh! Disgusting! They came to jet wash it. The day started looking bright for us on our holiday. It came back and this time, waiting for us at the part of the pod we chose to use as entrance. We went to report it again and I think our complain got lost because no jet wash :(. Did they forget about us? I couldn’t be bothered to chase after this. We had 2nights to go now and I was not going to allow those slugs to get the most of the final part of our holiday. We were disappointed, but we returned to the pod with our own solutions. I could be doing many other fun things or holiday things but I cleaned the yukk - slug’s slime remains - at our chosen entrance (since the jet wash was unavailable) and we all avoided the deck for the rest of our visit. We used the hot tub though. We couldn’t allow the slugs to get the most of our stay even though horrible imaginations of them creeping into the tub haunted us for part of our time at the village holiday. I also feel like parking could have been better organised. I returned one night and I had to find parking. It was uncomfortable to park far away from our pod. I had to walk distance to take our shopping into the pod and then had to create a plan on how to take the children in with me after few trips to the pod, so that they don’t trip on the slugs. This was the first day. It was a surprise when we returned to see that the convenient place we parked was gone! We planned around the parking after this.
Good location and price point
The smell of mildew in the property, mattress, pillows, duvet and bed sheets.
It's nice that it has trees and peacefull surrounding
Horrible smell in the house we stayed very old and not pleasent
Cleaning
Amazing location, beautiful woodland, on bus route into St. Ives. Entertainment was great quality.
Plates and cutlery were filthy, hadnt been washed at all, and the sofa and carpet smelt, when reporting to the lady in reception, she said 'ok thankyou' which wasnt very helpful, but when we reported a broken shower to the out of hours team, a guy from reception came straight over to the lodge.
It was absolutely amazing. Only thing I didn’t like for kids we have to pay for swimming. And definitely I expect a shopperstop inside where we don’t need to travel far for get regular things. Specially my mum 74 she enjoyed throughout stay do meditation morning walk, evening walk. But for sure next time we will book the stay with attached small pool. Overall i felt great. Thanks.🙂
I didn’t feel anything negative with JFHV. Only when I went to CARBISBAY we couldn’t manage to go there because the person in parking asked £20/- just for an hour which sounds they doing business by asking huge money specially I feel the nature is not someone’s private property where we restrict to visit. That’s my genuine opinion.🙁
I didn’t like that there wasn’t extra sheets and not towels at all. Otherwise was great experience.
The fridge wasn’t closing properly and our food went in bin. And there should be extra sheets and towels.
The environment was clean and very refreshing
Everything about the place was perfect. Our children enjoyed the most
Nothing
Location is good.
Feels a little dated. The outside bench area in front of the cottage was not clean, so we could not use it . The room and bed were just ok. We could not use facilities during our 3-day stay, as most of them are booked much in advance.
We stayed in a Gold 2 bedroom caravan. It was clean & fairly well equipped . Swimming pool looked nice but we didn’t use it due to the booking system where you have to pre book the day before. The site was clean. Good location, easy enough to reach St Ives, Penzance & Marazion by car. It looked like there was a bus direct to at Ives but we didn’t use it. We drove to st Erth fir the park & ride.
Considering it was to sleep 6 it was a tight squeeze to fit 6 around the double for meals. There were only 5 glasses. Was not aware the site is quite hilly, which would of been a problem for us had my elderly parents came as originally planned. Arcade was awful. Everything was £1 as in most places but you didn’t seem to get full games. For example pac man £1 got you 1 game with 1 life only. The 2p coin drop that most children love to use just to get the sweets or key rings - well there was no sweets or keyrings to try & get. Tried having a go on the pool table to find no ends on the cues. Walking around the site at night was difficult if you didn’t take torches.
Booked a Silver Chalet. Nothing to like about it.
It smelled awful, very damp. The area around the chalet looked like it was a forgotten part of the holiday part, very unloved. However, we did go to reception to see if we could be moved into a property that wasn’t damp & the next day we were given a platinum lodge. The lodge was lovely, large & comfortable. Not sure I’d of paid the price these usually are though purely because of the poor facilities of the holiday part itself.
Spacious and peaceful
Could be cleaner. No tea towels or wash towels
Location and facilities
Unable to go for a walk (down to the beach) for example as the road outside doesn’t have a sidewalk/pavement
Lovely place with nice greenery and excellent wifi. The lady at the pool was unfriendly and never smiled. Reception was already closed, and the man who looked like security saw us waiting while he finished talking to someone, but instead of offering help, he just walked away quickly. Staff hospitality should be a must in this kind of business, it’s such a shame as the location itself is really great.
Unfriendly staff
Very bad signal Wi-Fi Dirty windows....
The chalet was not clean and had a noticeable unpleasant smell. There were spiders inside, the beds were very wobbly, and no cleaning service was provided during our stay. Overall, the accommodation was disappointing and did not meet expectations. Another challenge was the limited reception availability, as it was only staffed between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Since guests often leave early and return later in the evening, it was difficult to get assistance when issues arose. I made several attempts to contact reception by phone and did not receive an answer or a callback. Although I raised this concern at reception and was advised that someone would contact me, I unfortunately never received a follow-up call.
The park itself was really lovely, with a nice swimming pool, leafy woodland walk, shop, bar, restaurant etc. The children's entertainment was great, our 4 and 7 year old loved the morning activities and the evening discos. The stripey kids entertainers were brilliant.
Accommodation was very basic, no hot water in the kitchen so difficult to wash up. A hoover would've been handy as the floor got very dirty very quickly. One bedroom had no plug sockets in which was a little awkward. Swimming pool very difficult to get into as it was so busy and booked up.
Lovely lodge clean and spacious inside nice balcony and not too close to other lodges nicely spaced out over looking grass, lovely location on site. Nice and quiet, pleasant site, we stayed an extra night and reception were very helpful with accommodating this. The take away pizzas from restaurant was nice. We used it as a base for visiting different areas of cornwall and didn't use the pool or club entertainment. The lodge was the best part of our holiday. The site is close to the St Erth station where you can catch the train into St Ives just 5 mins away, lots of lovely places nearby.
We were surprised that the shop was often shut which is odd for July which is hardly out of season. We went to get some groceries on the Saturday morning to find the shop shut and it was also shut on another occassion during the day, this was annoying when you just want some milk. The restaurant was ok but the outside eating area was a bit run down. We were surprised they don't do a breakfast or lunch option. The lodge was amazing apart from the boiler was not working when we arrived so we tried to ring reception on and off for a hour or so but there was no answer, luckily my partner worked out how to fix it.
Quiet and clean
Sofa slightly uncomfortable
There are so many activities for kids. It’s good for kids to enjoy swimming too.
It was out of supplies of water one of the night. We can’t bath or even no tap water to clean hands etc. I was expected the gold caravan newly furnished however it seems not.
The location
It had a lot of insects and spiders because of the plants outside. Maybe that needs to be clean. The property had few spider webs which is not pleasant.
The location of the property was fab, it had everything we needed inside.
Shower pressure wasn’t great and I did have two bites from two seperate nights sleep in the mornings not sure what from otherwise absolutely gorgeous site lovely staff relaxed fun atmosphere will definitely be back.
The entertainment team were amazing, as always. The park was clean and a lovely environment
The place we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest and it was riddled with spiders
I liked the caravans, well equipped with everything that you need. The swimming pool was always available daily. You just need to make sure you have booked a slot a day before. I loved the parking too, plenty and close to the caravans. The village is just beautiful.
I did not like how too strict are they when it comes to photos at the pool area. My 5yr old autistic was extremely excited as it was her first time in the water after not liking it for the past years. I really wanted to capture that beautiful moment. It was so special for us. We even asked to get a photo when everyone was out but they refused. I understand it's to protect privacy of people in the pool. However, after a request l believe they should try to adjust their rules especially after we asked to get a pic when everyone had gone out.. Myself and my husband were very dissapointed.
Staff were amazing, very helpful!
The arcade was rubbish, most machines not working!
Good location
Around the house long bush not cutting and not clean
When in the description it says sofa bed but the sofa doesnt turn into a sofa bed
Location was fine
None all good
The woodland location was nice. It was convenient for getting to local tourist sites of interest.
Having our car nearer the lodge would have been better.
My Shelley was fully equipped I mean everything you need in one place you get there
I liked the swimming facilities. They seemed to be kept clean with the naked eye, I believe it’s newly refurbished. Parking is good as you can leave your car outside the chalet.
We went for a silver chalet. Not cleaned enough and low maintenance, upon arrival I found a pile of cigarette butts on the grass next to the chalet, a dead fly on the floor inside the chalet. Then when going to make the bed I found stains of dried blood on the duvet! As well as lots of hair and other bits of fluff and dirt on the pillow and duvet. Also the beds were very uncomfortable, just from lighting bouncing my baby on the bed I was then touching the hardware underneath the mattress! There are no reception staff/ maintenance/ managers or cleaners on site in the evening, I believe ether from 5pm or 7pm. So I had to complain to the bar staff who said nothing can be done till the morning. As well at this I found multiple thick cob webs inside the chalet, grime and what looked like split coffee on the wardrobe and wardrobe handles. I was staying with my partner and 7 week old newborn. With the dirt I could see with the eye I can only imagine what other dirt and bacteria was there that I couldn’t see! The next day we went to use a knife and that was absolutely disgusting too. The next night the volume on the TV wouldn’t work, again no staff to help with the problem till the morning. Also one night my partner went to get us some pizza from the site. Was told there was only 9inch pizza but still will be charged the same amount for 12inch?! He ended up waiting up to 30 mins to then be told that the cook had forgotten to put the pizza in. Also no pepperoni.
The scenery and surrounding places were gorgeous! Even the lodges/buildings used for accommodation themselves were beautiful! It was within great travel distance from shops/beaches/towns etc.
I understand it was a self catering holiday, but for £325.80 it feels ridiculous to me that we can not even get a bath matt. The shower room was awful, no hand soap, no bath matt, then the tv room, the television controls did not come with any batteries. We had to make our own bed and the bedding didn’t even fit the bed sheets correctly, we found vape liquid and other various stuff in the cupboard, showing the place obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was a very disappointing experience considering the place is so beautiful on the outside.
The woodland environment. The well designed swimming pool The very helpful staff.
The cabin was not the same as the one in the photograph which I thought I had booked. It was much poorer quality. It smelt musty, especially in the bathroom. I wouldn't like to stay there in damp or rainy weather. The bathroom needed a shelf on the wall and some hooks, as there was nowhere to put things. There was no toilet brush, so we couldn't keep the toilet clean. When I asked about this I was told that " for hygiene reasons " a toilet brush and cleaning fluid were not provided! Who takes a toilet brush on holiday?
We had an amazing stay here...great location to main attractions...helpful staff... Highly recommend!!
Accommodation
Shop not open until later on the Saturday, no bus service
Nice little bungalow
Needed a bit of dusting but didn’t bother me
The privacy was excellent. I was able to relax and take it easy without any interruption.
The lodge was ideal for us the camp was ok the entertainment needs updating massively the kids shows go on for far to long into the evening
The entertainment was very childish
The second caravan we had was great, good size, well maintained.
Our first caravan was terrible. Full of cobwebs, large spiders and little black bugs. Very rundown and dirty.
Very spacious lodge, everything we needed, comfy bed, great shower.
Drinks in the bar were expensive.
Położenie, czysty i zadbany domek, miła obsługa
Delikatnie problem z parkingiem. Czasem trzeba było zaparkować trochę dalej od domku
Has i booked a gold caravan and paid then it wasn’t available and had to pay £76 more money i was expecting the beds to be made up like the gold caravan .i went to make the bed up and found someone else tissue paper that was stuck to the duvet cover also dirty decking area and litter around the caravan i did complain to the receptionist but no apology from them just said they would clean it . They cleaned the decking area and i collected the duvet cover later. I was a bit disappointed the staff didn’t apologise for the dirty caravan but looked a bit put out as if i should’ve not said anything i wasn’t very happy also on the website it’s got lovely walks but most of it is over grown trees had fallen on path ways very neglected it’s a shame because it could be really nice walks . So overall not very good .so i didn’t like it the location probably the only good thing
Disappointed in the hygiene of the property
In the current weather this week the location was good because it in a woodland setting, which made it feel a little cooler.
A little out of the way, if you didn't drive a car you would be stuck because there's nothing close by,no bus service because it's been taken off the route, but if I'm correct on the website it says there's a bus service, wrong. The local supermarkets are about 4 miles away, there's a shop on site, but not a lot of stock on the selves, so if your thing of going take plenty with you.
The location was peaceful with friendly helpful staff.
The mattress was very uncomfortable
Location is good
Room size and cupboards are not sufficient to accommodate things
Location is 10/10
Don't supply towels, extra toilet tissues, extra dustbin bags if needed. Otherwise everything is lovely
The property was very clean and organised, the beds were made and clean.
In general the property was good, nothing to complain.
The location itself is perfect for proximity to St..Ives and Hayle and the woodland around the site is great for dog walks.
The caravan is showing signs of age: rust around radiators etc. I booked a silver caravan lodge but the interior was that of the bronze on John Fowler's own website.
The location it was stunning and peaceful
Lack of facilities cafe / food wise during morning and day
The lodge has everything you need for a long stay. The staff were helpful friendly with a big smile every time you asked them a question about something, they are great with children.
What a shame, the weather was chilly and rainy
Loved the setting, kitchen was lovely, double bed was comfortable, single beds were not so much, bathroom adequate.
The bench outside the property was very old and was worried to get a splinter from it. Better garden furniture would be nice.
We enjoyed its woodland surroundings once we had been moved.
Very dirty, not sure it had actually been cleaned since previous visitors left. Floors sticky and black, duvets and pillows dirty, kitchen cupboards and utensils dirty.
