Excellent emplacement au calme et à distance raisonnable de l'agitation du centre ville de Hoï An. Le personnel était très accueillant et chaleureux et aux petits soins pour nous recevoir. La carte des repas est courte mais avec de délicieux produits.

Beautiful property, such lovely staff, in a stunning location. Only about a 5/10 minute grab ride from old town or the beach and amaznig spa around the corner. This is the perfect place to slow down and relax.

Beautiful property, very unique and eye catching. It’s further away from the busy old town area (which I preferred) but you can easily get Grab cars from the main road. The rice fields that the property faces are so stunning! The pool was lovely too, and our room was spacious. Everything was very well maintained. Thuy and the other hosts were SO kind and helpful!! The cafe is incredible too, the coffee was delicious. Would recommend this place for couples or those who aren’t keen on the loud/super touristy areas.

The room wasn’t super sound proof which was fine for 90% of our stay but on the final night the people in the room next to us had their tv on all night so this is something to keep in mind. It was easily fixed with earplugs though.

The property is designed beautifully, with large balconies. It has a great view of the paddy fields.

Absolutely everything. I love my stays at SHB and never fails to impress with amazing staff being attentive and eager to help in any way, rooms are simply divine and spacious, bed incredibly comfortable with amazing pillows and an incredible outlook on the balcony for rice paddy views This place is a glorious find 🫶🏼

Le style artistique et l'ameublement de ce logement étaient très originaux et beaux. Literie hyper confortable, vue très apaisante depuis la chambre king size sur les rizières. Super petits déjeuners en bord de rizière. On a aimé la gentillesse et la prévenance de notre hôtesse Thuy et du gardien, toujours prêts a nous aider. Super piscine rafraîchissante dans un cadre patio exceptionnel. Les vélos pour se rendre en ville étaient prêtés, bien pratique pour aller dîner par les petites voies typiques dans les quartiers, ou à la plage a 15 mn. Bref, un de nos meilleurs logements au Vietnam, on espère bien revenir!

What a peaceful place. We had a great time at Secret House. Thuy was so kind to us, letting us order the local noodle breakfast at the last minute. We are definitely coming back and staying longer next time.

The location was beautiful and serene. The lush green rice fields instantly relaxed us. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thuy was always asking what she could do for us. She remembered our names and found us great deals on transportation and other things.

Really nice place to stay in Hoi An. Right next to rice fields, beautiful view. Room was big, very clean and bathroom very nice, good size shower. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was great and fresh. Pool was enjoyable too. The art gallery is an added bonus, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Not far by car to Hoi An old town, we walked it one day and took about 40 minutes, but they will let you use a bicycle which is much faster. So nice to walk/bike through the rice fields. Highly recommended.

This was our home away from home! The location looking over the rice fields was perfect and peaceful. We loved the king room with the balcony view. Thuy was such a warm and personable host making sure everything was ok for us every day. We loved Salt making our amazing coffee! I think the best in Vietnam! The breakfasts are just lovely especially the granola bowl and smoothie! We used the beautiful pool daily and loved purchasing our lovely artworks from the gallery. We will now only ever stay here when we return to Hoi An! Also walking distance from Om Day yoga which we loved. Such a small intimate boutique stay and felt like we are welcomed in the lovely owners home..

There is a wooden adjoining door between the two king rooms which may allow some noise.. we were lucky our neighbours were quiet.. next time I will just book both rooms or consider the studio room with views

Beautiful property overlooking the rice fields! The room was spacious and modern. The hotel itself feels like a work of art and guests can also visit the gallery next door, owned by the same family, which adds to the unique and tranquil experience. A special thank you to Thuy, the manager, who was incredibly kind and caring throughout my stay. When I wasn't feeling well, she regularly checked on me and even brought me ginger tea, which I truly appreciated. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Hoi An — surrounded by nature, yet still close to both the beach and the Old Town. I actually stayed here twice during my trip because I enjoyed it so much! I highly recommend this property and would gladly return again.

Beautiful property and helpful staff like Thuy

I rarely leave bad reviews, but people need to know what to expect. The reality is totally different from the pictures, and the property lacks basic upkeep. The pool area is ruined by the heavy construction happening right next to it. The absolute dealbreaker, though, was the bed. It was basically an antique spring mattress with lumps all over it. Additionally, the bicycles they provided were ancient and completely unrideable.

Great place to stay and experience the rice paddy area of Hoi An. If this is your first visit to Hoi An and you desire more tourist attractions you may want to stay in town. However this is a great out of the place to chill and relax if you are already familiar with the area. The staff were super attentive and went out of their way to address our concerns. Great value and we would will stay there again.

I stayed here for 2 months and it was largely a very comfortable stay and I’m really going to miss this place! The owners are super lovely and talented, the staff here go out of their way to greet you every morning and try make sure you are satisfied. Thuý was a gem! The location was everything I was after. Quiet location on the rice fields between the beach and old town. Because I had my own motorcycle everything and everywhere was accessible to me and I enjoy the rides. There is also a spectacular art gallery attached and you’ll love wondering through it and admiring the art!

There were a number of occasions where the water would cut out and no evening showers could be had. Bicycles are provided like everywhere else, but they are not well maintained. If you get my room, the cafe blender will probably wake you up.

Secret house is a true hidden gem. Firstly its location is in a beautiful area of the rice fields. We used the hotels free bicycles to get into old town which takes around 10 mins and also to the beach 15mins. Secondly the property itself is stunning. An oasis of calm and decorated beautifully with artwork and luxury finishes. We had a king room with balcony and it was incredibly comfortable. The best mattress and bed linens of our trip so far! Spotless and tastefully decorated. And thirdly, Secret house has the best customer service I’ve ever encountered. This is all down to Thuy. She is the kindest and most helpful lady. She ensures you have everything you need, goes out of her way to assist (she came to work early to bring us a breakfast to take to the airport!) and greets you with the biggest smile every day. Honestly, Thuy is a credit to the hotel. She made our stay perfect in every way. Book!!!! You won’t be disappointed at all. It’s beautiful.

Diese Unterkunft war die schönste auf meiner gesamten Reise durch Vietnam! Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind super schön! Die Betten sind bequem und die Bettwäsche roch soo angenehm frisch. Das gesamte Personal und die Besitzer sind so lieb und freundlich. Besonders Thuy war jederzeit erreichbar und super hilfsbereit und hat mich bei all meinen Anliegen unterstützt. Danke nochmal!

Magnifique endroit ! Bel hôtel intimiste dont le propriétaire peintre nous a fait un mini concert privé.

Peu de choix dans le petit déjeuner par rapport à l’établissement de 4 étoiles. Pour moi, le matelas n’est pas assez ferme.

Nous avons ete super bien accueilli. Personnel adorable. Il règne dans cette maison une ambiance très apaisante. Piscine très agréable et ce côté hacienda donne un charme fou a cette maison. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et décorées avec goût. Literie confortable. La propriétaire très gentille, est une artiste. Vous pourrez observer tout son art dans la galerie et de partout dans la maison. Le coin est très calme. Un peu excentré mais parfait pour profiter des rizières et de la ville de Hoî An. Coup de coeur de notre séjour au Vietnam. Merci pour votre accueil Nous recommandons votre établissement sans hésiter.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with an amazing view of the ricefields. We loved our stay so much that we actually turned around in Hanoi just to come back and stay here for another two weeks. Thuy, Salt and the rest of the staff are always incredibly helpful and kind. If you’re into art and music and looking for a calm place to stay away from the busy centre of Hoi An, this is the perfect spot. This truly became our home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back.

Booked a room with a bathtub, but received a room not matching the booking……a super tiny bathroom with no bathtub (see attached photo). The hotel said it was the same type and that all rooms were fully booked, so I was forced to take it with no alternative. Bad experience.

Die Lage zwischen Strand und Altstadt war für mich ideal. Ruhig an einem Reisfeld gelegen, aber trotzdem in der Nähe von allem. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und es war mir rundum wohl. Gerne buche ich wieder hier, sollte ich in Zukunft wieder nach Vietnam reisen!

Les hôtes ainsi que le personnel, tous aussi gentils les uns que les autres ! L'atmosphère artistique et paisible du lieu, les propriétaires sont passionnés d'art et d'architecture, n'hésitez pas à aller faire un tour dans la galerie d'art, vous y croiserez peut être monsieur en train de chanter au piano. Les chambres étaient très bien décorées et la literie très confortable. La secret house proposait l'emprunt de vélo gratuit, très pratique et agréable pour rejoindre le centre ville en empruntant les chemins au milieu des rizières ! Depuis certaines chambres vous aurez accès à une vue sur les rizières depuis le balcon, le petit déjeuner proposé est très bon (soit occidental soit local) et vous pourrez le déguster à l'extérieur avec un magnifique point de vue. Accompagnez tout ça d'un délicieux coconut coffee.

Lovely accommodation in a great location. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the rice paddies and very much enjoyed our stay. The bed and bedding here were so comfortable as were the pillows! The free bikes were good quality too.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. The shower although nice and powerful, was very unstable temperature wise and would go scalding hot despite not touching the controls.

Was the perfect stay. Wish I could stay here for weeks. Will definitely be back and bring my family. Thuy was very welcoming and friendly, very helpful. Bedroom was perfect. Had everything you might need, very clean and stylish. Male owner (sorry forgot his name) was lovely. I was a female solo traveller and felt very safe and looked after. Pool was beautiful. Surroundings are amazing. Even though it’s far from the Hoi An centre that’s a good thing as was very busy and noisy in the town centre so was good to get out in the peaceful countryside. Was still able to get to cafes and restaurants very easily. Loved my stay here, especially thanks to Thuy for being an amazing staff member. Thankyou.

Reception manager Thuy is such a lovely person she handles everything to make your stay perfect! Provides information and advice on where to go what to do on not do , so helpful as this was my first visit to Hoi An. Thuy is a gem 💎 The owners are onsite and designed this amazingly beautiful complex. Their welcoming and kind interaction helped you feel a part of the community. I truly appreciate the love and care they and the staff show their guests and the community! I will be back next year !

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed into a space filled with authentic design and thoughtful attention to every detail. Art is everywhere, the gallery is truly stunning, with beautiful works celebrating the grace of the female body and womanhood. Surrounded by lush greenery and a swimming pool, the atmosphere brings a deep sense of peace and tranquility. The owner is an absolutely charming lady who adds so much heart to the place. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, making you feel instantly at home. And the café deserves a special mention, the barista makes exceptional coffee, especially the salty coffee, which is a must-try and not to be missed. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!

Die Lage direkt an einem Reisfeld ist herrlich! Das kleine Hotel hat viel Charme, ist sehr gepflegt und gut geführt. Das hauseigene Café macht wunderbaren Kaffee, das Personal ist super freundlich. Der kurze Weg in die Alstadt und an den Strand ist kein Problem, entweder mit Roller/Fahrrad oder Grab. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung und ich bin bald zurück!

C'est un endroit paisible un mélange d'art , de nature et en plus proche d'un super centre de yoga . Situé étrès plage et vieille ville vous pouvez vous y rendre en 10 mn . Les gens qui y travaillent sont adorables Thuy nous a accueilli avec tellement de gentillesse et a été de bon conseil pour tout. Aussi bien les sorties que les animations. Ayant attrapé une grosse crève elle c est occupée de moi . Je vous recommande ce lieu a échelle humaine.

Tolle Lage, schönes Haus, gemütliches Bett & ein wirklich schönes und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer.

Das tägliche Musizieren. Gitarre und Geige von morgens 9 bis 11.30, dann bin ich abgehauen. Am nächsten Tag gab’s Klavier ab 16.00 und am übernächsten Tag wieder die Gitarren- Geigenkombination. Nichts für Ruhe Suchende. Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, um die Seele etwas baumeln zu lassen, zu lesen, an meinem Buch zu schreiben, gemütlich chillen. Diese Ruhe habe ich hier leider nicht gefunden.

Feels like living in an art gallery. So peaceful and calming, you will get surrounded by beautiful paddy field. Room is very clean and spacious. Suitable for couple who wants privacy and serene stay.

Loved everything about our stay at the Secret House Boutique ,It's in a great location . Off the beaten path but close to the old town for a good night out. Thuy at reception is just delightful and could not be more helpful 10/10 . Owner minh is also amazing and so very friendly and accomadating. If you love calm and peace, this is the place for you. Nevermind the Art gallery and the zen like music constantly playing around the place . Highly recommend and will be finishing my trip back there at the end of the month

Schöne Lage direkt in den Reisfeldern, außerhalb der Touristenmassen von Hoi An. Nette kleine Terrasse und Pool. Mit den kostenlosen Rädern ist man schnell in der Stadt. Die Hotelmitarbeiterin Thuy war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gab auch einen kleinen Kuchen zur Begrüßung. Sehr lecker! Die Besitzerin hat uns auch ihre wunderschöne Kunstgallerie gezeigt.

Den Kaffee muss man beim Frühstück extra dazubuchen. Die Zimmernachbarn über uns waren recht laut, das Poltern hat man bis in die Nacht gehört.

Nestled in the rice fields, Secret Boutique House was an easy 10/10 stay. The staff are incredibly sweet, the owners were both friendly and showed us around their next-door gallery, and the room was spacious and clean. The coffee + view were the cherry on top. Easy 10/10.

Avant toute chose, il faut citer le personnel. Ils ont été d’un soin formidable envers nous. Dès que nous avions besoin de quelques choses, ils nous l’apportaient… C’était si agréable de séjourner ici. Un jour où nous nous sommes levé tard, ils nous ont quand même préparer un petit déjeuner. Pendant que Hoi An était inondé, alors que nous devions quitter l’hôtel, le personnel nous a permis d’y rester avant notre bus. Parlons de la chambre, c’était notre plus grand confort au Viêt Nam, et de loin. Le lit était fantastique et super confortable dans une chambre magnifiquement décorée. L’équipement proposé était très très complet : piscine top, sèche cheveux, peignoir, frigo, canapé… nous avions prit l’option avec la cuisine, qui était parfaite pour notre usage. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, des œufs, du bacon, des fruits et un jus, c’est parfait. Si vous commandez la veille, vous pouvez même avoir plus de choix. Nous vous recommandons le Pho, peut être que c’est le meilleur que nous avons eu au Viêt Nam. Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement le personnel pour avoir rendu notre séjour si agréable !!

Peut être un peu loin du centre, mais croyez moi, le peu que vous dépenserez en moyen de déplacement ne sont rien comparé au calme et au confort de l’hôtel.

Such a cute hotel we loved our 4 night stay here for my mum and I. Thuay was exceptional and would do anything to help us. Very peaceful area the pool was lovely. We arrived on my mums birthday so I asked the hotel to ‘surprise her with something special’ and they put a birthday cake in the room which was so special and she cried tears of joy from appreciation.

The shower temperature was very delayed but did get very very hot.

Location. Spacious room. Shady , refreshing pool. Great news bikes. The best ever yoga studio (OmDay) just across the road. Thuy went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She even brought in vegetarian banh mi for me everyday.

I like everything thing about this hotel. My room was beautiful with a marble bath, that unfortunately i didn't get to use. The hotel is filled with the owners' art, which is stunning. The staff in the secret house are amazing, always a lovely smile, especially Thuy, the charming receptionist, who booked everything for me and really made me feel welcome. My hotels since have not lived up to the secret house.

Everything is perfect! The rooms are big and well decorated, beds are soooooo comfortable! Nice bathroom with good pressure and hot water. Staff is great, Thuy is the best and made me feel at home during my stay. Right in the middle of the rice field, peaceful and beautiful. But only minutes away from the town centre by bike (free). I spent so much time cycling around, so much fun!

The location in the rice fields was perfect for us. Breakfast was my favorite part of the day. The staff are so lovely, especially Thuy who looked after everything we needed. She was a little angel. The owners are both artists and just the nicest people and they have a beautiful gallery you can explore. There is always gentle music floating through the Villa too. Is't just a wonderful place 🫶 Oh and the beds were so comfortable too !

The only thing I didn't like was that we had to leave. We'll stay here again for sure ❤️

Ligging in de rijstvelden tussen de stad en strand

Ik had voor 3 personen geboekt, maar kreeg 1 kingsize bed. Voor veel geld een derde bed kunnen krijgen. Blaffende hond van eigenaar iedere ochtend vroeg.

Van dit verblijf heb ik echt genoten. In dit hotel wordt je omringd door schoonheid in al zijn betekenissen. De kamers (eigenlijk zijn het studio’s) zijn ruim en praktisch ingericht. Enkel de wastafel in de badkamer mag wat groter zijn, dit is niet in verhouding tot de rest. Dit is echt een hotel om tot rust te komen, dankzij een fantastisch zwembad, omringd door veel groen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De eigenares zorgt er met haar charmes meteen voor dat je je op je gemak voelt. Echt een topper!

Enkel een te klein wastafeltje in de badkamer, maar er is wel een gootsteen in de keuken.

The Best Secret in Hoi An. Loved discovering this gem which was filled with treasures all over. From the staff who were the best, to the artistic and delightful detailing in the property. To the overlooking over the luscious padi fields.

The road leading up to the hotel was slightly narrow for the taxis to navigate.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Secret House. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to our requests. It's a little out of the city, which means you're away from the hustle and bustle of the shops and other tourists, but only a 5-10 min ride into town via grab. We borrowed their bikes a few times to ride to the beach, into town and to nearby restaurants. The hotel felt very safe and secure too. They have an art gallery next door which was very cool! The rooms were lovely and the pool was a treat in the hot weather! Not to mention the coconut coffee, which was amazing! We loved it so much that we ordered it every day, so Minh organized for her husband to give us a lesson in how to make it. We had torrential rain during our stay, so much that the roof started leaking, but it was no trouble for us to move rooms once we told them. One of the staff even waited for us to finish packing up our belongings so he could cover us with his umbrella while we walked across the courtyard to our new room. We got breakfast every morning by ordering the night before. There are 5 options for breakfast, each one very delicious. They also helped us to get our clothes washed for a small fee, and organized a cooking class for us when we asked. We are so grateful to the staff for their warm welcome and cannot speak more highly of the place!

Beautiful location right by the rice fields and super quiet. Easy walk or cycle into town. Room was clean, breakfast was tasty and whole hotel gave a lovely boutique vibe. All the staff were super friendly.

I think it’s just because it was so humid outside but our room felt a tiny bit damp at times.

I've stayed in 4 different accommodations on this trip to Vietnam and this has got to be my favourite place ever. It feels like a home away from home, cosy, comfy and designed with such fine taste. The entire hotel is very artistic, with paintings hung at every corner that often brightens the space. The staff are also super lovely and kind, the morning goes great whenever I see their smiles! Room was on the third floor and they have no elevator, but they would kindly help to carry my luggage up with me and I appreciate that! The rooms were spacious, clean and light filled. Little details like the big mirror by the door makes it perfect to put on make up with bright natural lighting shinning in. The bed was comfy, and water pressure in the bathroom is strong and nice. The pool is also enjoyable for a dip in the day (: I particularly enjoyed their latte, and sitting by the fields to space out. I'll be sure to return again! For 3 days, I hardly ventured anywhere. I head to yoga which is just 2 mins walk away, or cycle in the fields to explore a cafe nearby, or just sit at the outdoor garden chilling. A classy, chic and modern venue. However, I have a big distaste after my stay was shortened by one night! It wasn't even done in person just through booking - I was sent a cancellation of my stay for another night. If I had had notifications turned off I wouldn't even have known I had nowhere to sleep the next night.... That's not how it's done, it's very inelegant! I had the impression that they wanted to get rid of me because a group of friends had arrived and had run out of room. I have never encountered such a situation before and I am very sorry about it. I am very disgusted. Unfortunately I have to give three stars although the place is charming and in a beautiful location.

The hotel is so beautiful inside and it's located out of town, so you have a great view of the fields and it's really quiet and peaceful. I walked into town and back every day, but if you're less able to do that you'd probably need a bike or Grab. The staff were kind and helpful, especially the man on reception who got up out of bed to unlock the gate for me when I was going on a very early day trip. There are lots of facilities, including nice toiletries and much-needed air conditioning and ceiling fan. It was a lovely respite from busy places.

I was asked to move rooms at one stage, via WhatsApp, but then when I went down to ask about it, I was told I didn't need to after all. I understand there is a need to accommodate guests but it is helpful to know in advance if you might need to move rooms at some point. I'm not sure if it was because I was on my own.

Gorgeous retreat from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An, set overlooking the rice fields. Beautifully presented inside and out it feels more as though you are coming home than a hotel stay. Breakfast had good local options and some western and was generous in portion sizes. Free bikes available at the property meaning you can get to the beach in ten minutes or explore the rice fields and local cafes nearby although the coffee on site is delicious. Also only five minutes away from Hoi An centre by grab taxi or bike.

We enjoyed the location as it was set away from the main town but this could be an issue for some as it means getting a grab each time. We also came back around 10pm one night to find everything locked up. The security guard was so lovely and let us in and showed us where the bell was for the future but it would have been nice to know in advance. As we stayed for five nights it would also have been nice for a room cleaning to be offered as we had to ask for our toilet bin to be emptied and another toilet roll provided on a few occasions. Minor issues but just where improvements could be made.
