It was a great location for seeing the U.S. OPEN…5 minute train to venue on #7. It was very clean!!!

There could have been a few more breakfast items but over all it was perfect. I had a banana, bagel and hard boiled egg every day…healthy!!

Very convenient location with excellent public transportation. As I was travelling alone, this made my stay much easier. The subway station and LIRR are only about a five-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient to visit major New York attractions such as Times Square, Wall Street and the Statue of Liberty. I also felt very safe in the area, even at night. There were always plenty of people around, and the hotel is located in a busy market area with many shops, restaurants and a large Asian community. As I am Sri Lankan, I found the neighbourhood very familiar and comfortable, especially compared with some other areas of New York where I did not feel as comfortable travelling alone. The hotel staff were also very polite, friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated this because I had experienced a few less welcoming interactions in other places during my trip in the USA, so the warm and respectful service here made a very positive difference. The location is also very convenient for travelling to JFK Airport. This was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel, as it is well positioned between the main New York attractions and JFK. From the hotel, you can take a bus to Jamaica and then connect directly to the AirTrain to the airport. The whole journey takes around one hour and was very convenient. The room facilities were also very good. I especially appreciated having a kettle to make tea, which I did not find in several other hotels I stayed at in the USA. This was a nice touch, particularly for guests who enjoy tea. The breakfast was also very good, and overall, I felt the hotel was excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend it, especially for solo travellers and international visitors looking for a safe and convenient location with easy access to both New York City attractions and JFK Airport.

It would be nice if the hotel could provide some milk in the fridge for tea or coffee, as well as body wash instead of only soap bars. The surrounding streets and market area were not very clean, although the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained.

The room was quite spacious and clean, and the bed was comfy. We appreciated having a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room - would be great for longer stays. The breakfast was a positive surprise. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

I had a family situation and they were great about canceling the reservation and reimbursing me. This is the best hotel in Flushing for the price, no question. Clean snd quiet.

Booked a reservation to attend the My Chemical Romance concert at Citifield! Easy check in with front desk staff. Fresh lemon water offered at reception area, alongside vending machines for snacks and drinks. Surrounding area is perfect, many food and drink options. Shops on every street. Close to the 7 train and LIRR. Rooms were clean, and breakfast is served 7am-10am, very yummy! 10/10 would recommend.

Only concern was the shower head being loose, but it worked perfectly!

it’s super close to the 7 line and multiple bus stops. the room was very spacious compared to other new york hotel rooms. there were 2 of us in a single with a queen bed, and there was plenty of room to move around with 2 carry ons.

i wish the doors also had a door latch in addition to the lock.

Great location for the Flushing Chinatown area, lobby and rooms are clean, and the staff is very good and helpful.

Main complaint is the Wifi is poor, very inconsistent and it was better to not use it most of the time. Also some rooms have a fridge and microwave but others do not, noticed this in 2 different rooms on the same floor.

breakfast need to be improved especially for multi culture people, as there was only one option for Asian region. Eggs were also usually cold, no hot milk, only one kind of juice. they can improve the quality and categories as per different countries.

the house keeping staff was rude and could not speak English, was very hard to communicate and her behavior was very rude. Hotel Management should work in this segment and customer service standard should be improved

It was very clean and the elevator was very fast and efficient.

It was my first visit to N.Y. I didn’t anticipate the amount of people inhabiting that area of the city!

Asiatic Hotel is a great place to stay in Flushing. It's in the heart of a bustling area of Queens, convenient to restaurants and shops, public transportation, airports, other parts of New York City, and Long Island. All areas of the hotel including the room were very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious with a variety of items. The staff was professional and helpful. Overall the quality is very good at a relatively affordable price for New York City. I would stay here again if I return to the area.

During the day the noise of airplanes was almost constant. This is an issue for the area in general because of proximity to the airport. Fortunately it really did settle down in the evening and didn't disturb my sleep. Sounds from adjacent rooms were audible at times, but not problematic.

5 mins walk from the metro station, with direct links to Times Square, New York Mets and Flushing Meadows Tennis (1 stop). Great area if you like Chinese food. Beds were comfortable.

The hotel is located in the Chinatown area. Everything is related to the Chinese. Breakfast was nothing to eat except bread, butter and jam. Breakfast was very poor. At the exit of the hotel, there were garbage cans. The smell was horrible.

The room was clean and simple and for the price point what I expected. I was only staying for one night so it was a great fit. I did like the wood floors instead of carpet but of course the downside is I could hear the people above me walking. It sounded like in heels, I guess no one taught them to take off their outside shoes when they walk in the door! They also had a nice breakfast spread downstairs with many options. Staff was friendly. Coffee was good.

You do have to eat downstairs, you cannot take food to your room for breakfast, just an fyi.
