It was clean, good value for money and great location. Lots of space and great for families.

The breakfast room could have more tables, there seems to be wasted space with armchair seating on other side. For families of over 2 there were hardly any larger tables and it was annoying every morning to get a couple of chairs from another table and cram on a smaller table. Why should we also have to move tables around to get bigger table space.

Breakfast items slow to be replaced, one lovely woman on her own having to do everything but she was happy and friendly. Parking a bit of a trek with heavy bags and lots of rough sleepers around

Was put in room where air con was not working . On bringing this up I was given another room but also told I will have to make own sofa bed and move child’s cot and bedding myself to another room .

La ubicación es excelente y las instalaciones también. El desayuno muy completo y variado.

Para dormir, tuve que quitar la tarjeta del interruptor general de la habitación para que la máquina de aire se parara y dejar de oir el ventilador. Además, la equipación de la cocina era mínima, sólo había un cazo para poder cocinar, ninguna sartén. Eso limita mucho qué se puede cocinar

Great location

Fire alarm at 00:30 and full evacuation. No offer of recompense or voucher of good will offered for the disruption. It wasn't an actual fire but was an intruder. Better communication needed as we were outside for about an hour.

Everything is clean and cosy looking.

The tvs probably need upgrading. The rooms are perfect for a wall mounted smart tv with more options

The location was perfect for our visit to the European Athletics Championships at Alexander Stadium – everything was within walking distance. The railway station, shuttle buses, shopping areas, canals, museums, interesting neighbourhoods and plenty of restaurants were all easily accessible. The studio was perfectly suited to our stay, with a small kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom – everything we needed. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet – especially by English standards! There was everything you could wish for, everything was fresh, clean and constantly replenished. The breakfast team was also very attentive and welcoming. We would especially like to mention the reception team. When we needed to change rooms, they were extremely flexible and pragmatic and went above and beyond to help us find the studio that suited us best. A special thank you to Amy and her team! The European Championships were a success in every respect, and Birmingham offered us so much more than we had expected.

Hard to get to using a car if you have luggage, you have to walk for about 60m, not too bad though considering the quality of the place.

The room was clean and well laid out, and the kitchenette was good. It was quiet. The breakfast was excellent - really good range and lots of options available. Useful to have free tea and coffee out of breakfast times. We didn't need to use the laundry but it looked huge, lots of machines. It was a nice touch to have a laundry basket in each room for the longer stay visitors.

Its a shame there were no USB charging ports anywhere. These would have been really useful.

Grande chambre, cuisine incluse, à 5 mn de la gare en plein centre-ville. Personnel très efficace.

Le quartier fait peine à voir, mélange de pauvreté, d'immeubles vides, de zone commerciale bas de gamme. Franchement pas extrêmement agréable. Quant à l'hôtel, il aurait besoin d'une bonne rénovation/modernisation. Ne prenez pas l'option petit-déjeuner sur place, la salle est minuscule pour la taille de l'établissement, et la proposition n'a aucun intérêt.

Beliggenheden ift. atletikstævnet "Birmingham 2026" var perfekt tæt på shuttlebussen. Meget servicemindet personale, der var gode til at vejlede om nærområdet og afhentningssted for Uber. Pænt stort værelse, der dog manglede en ekstra stol hvis man vil gøre brug af spisemulighederne i værelset.

Morgenmaden var traditionel kedelig engelsk med ingen variation pr. dag. Der var meget gang i klimaanlægget i restauranten, det kunne måske være skruet lidt ned. Området er meget forskelligt dag og aften. Fuld af liv om dagen, og lidt spoky om aftenen. Grundet sporvognene kan Uber ikke sætte én af direkte ved hotellet, så det kan være lidt svært at finde.

The property was clean and tidy. The staff were courteous, informative and friendly. Especially Priya and Terry. Breakfast was good. Rooms air conditioned, all in all a great stay.

As breakfast was included in the price it was good quality and service. Staff particularly on the check in desk were friendly and efficient. Great location to explore the city centre.

Room did not smell pleasant and was quite small for a suite. Felt unsafe walking to accommodation late at night as lots of unsociable people on the street leading to the hotel

Hotel OK.

Due to "safety norms” I was told, it’s impossible to even just tilt open or slightly slide open the windows in the rooms. Not good if you are claustrophobic or prone to anxiety/panic attacks, which I am. As it was not written anywhere in the room description, I feel it’s useful to mention it here. I’ve never seen that in any hotel in the UK or in Europe (although I understand it’s frequent in Asia), tilt-and-turn windows are the minimum you can expect. Happy to breathe again tonight.

Arrived on Friday but was bit early to check in so helped ourself to a coffee whilst we waited. Check in was quick and easy with great staff on reception. We did have a couple of issues like air con not working, but we were moved to a room with working air con. Had couple of other little issues but they were resolved straight away. Staybridge suites are in excellent location. Breakfast is self service and there are lots of things to choose from, lovely food and we had great breakfasts for our 3 night stay. Help yourself to tea/coffee from the dining room. I love the fact you have full size fridge, micro, dishwasher etc in room so if you want to make good in room you can. All the staff we met were very approachable and very welcoming.

The actual suite was excellent . Literally everything you need and more. Lounge with sofa and armchair , coffee table, extensive cable tv offering ( very rare in hotels ) , a dishwasher , fridge , toaster , kettle , microwave….endless list. I had a friend over and we sat and chilled in the lounge with wine chilled for a few hours. My air con didn’t seem to work but after a brief chat with reception it was sorted so room was chilled at 16 degrees.

The area …..despite being minutes from the Bullring the actual road was shocking. Next door to a Poundland with a broken window. Opposite a massive derelict House if Fraser department store. Further down the biggest Wetherspoons I’ve ever seen with drunks and homeless people sitting on the steps. A man was walking up and down the street screaming …. Dressed for dinner as I stood outside the hotel I was verbally abused and must have been asked first money 3 times. Dreadful street.

Lovely big room, forgot that there would be kitchen facilities - bonus. Plenty of space to put your clothes, etc away in. I didn't realise that there would be a safe in the room - excellent. Very central location. I love Snoopy and was delighted to find that there were 12 Snoopys to find in the city (July to beginning of September). Good breakfast choices. Nice touch with water in a "dispenser" that had slices of orange in it. Would definitely stay here again. Not sure if there are Staybridge suites elsewhere in the country.

Bed was comfortable but would have liked to also have a slightly thinner pillow. That I forgot to remove the duvet from the cover and just use the cover as it was warm whilst we were there.

I like how clean our room was and well presented. Also the staff were so polite and welcoming and great options on the breakfast. I also like the fact you use your room clean to access the main door and the lift you feel so safe. Its also in a great location definitely will be returning.

The pillows were really comfy but I find the mattress wasn't too comfy but apart from that everything was high standards.

I loved the Staybridge Suites in every way. Just great.

Shower is not powerful enough. Breakfast was not that good, took ages for the food to be refreshed once the food had gone.

Air condition is not working at all and i went to reception there was one lady and i told her i am going out for couple of hours please fix it they said ok we will do ,but when i came back at midnight the room was very warm we didn’t sleep full night i don’t recommend this hotel at summer season

It was cold in the room (due to air con perhaps set a lower than standard temperature) and we had to ask twice (both in the evening and in the morning) for it to be switched off in the room. Which the team did very quickly so not a big issue at all. However, when we went downstairs for breakfast in the morning the breakfast area was also very cold due to air con. We finished our breakfast quickly as the temperature was rather unpleasant. There is a difference between cool and cold :-)

Excellent, comfortable stay with outstanding service, perfect location & a truly welcoming team. Communication before our trip was top‑notch, with all questions answered promptly. On arrival, Priya at reception was exceptional and guided us clearly on how to get around Birmingham using all available transport options. Breakfast exceeded expectations, and Anna from the Hub Kitchen provided warm, personalised service every morning. Throughout our two‑week stay, Kirt (Manager) and Disha were consistently helpful — customer service truly second to none. The location is ideal, just a 5‑10 minute walk to the shopping mall and public transport. Having halal restaurants right next to the building was a great convenience. The apartment was extremely clean and exactly as advertised. Overall, a very positive experience and highly recommended.

The last couple of days were unusually warm due to an unexpected heat wave, and a small adjustment to the central air‑conditioning would have made the stay even more comfortable.

The location is good close to train and Bull Ring and other areas of cultural interest were within walking distance.

AC did not work in room. First night a fan was offered. 2nd night iac was fixed. 3rd night not working again but we were offered an upgrade where the ac worked. Safe did not work. Was fixed and then it broke again. Hallways are lit with halogen light bulbs. Very inefficient lighting and causing unnecessary heat in hallways. Can't understand how this place had high ratings which I based my decision on!

Die WC-Spülung funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Waschbecken war von Anfang an verstopft und roch dementsprechend.

The staff were nice and the facilities great

The natural air fan sounded like a moped and couldn’t be turned off unless to electric in the room was off as advised by staff. Couldn’t sleep with the racket it made so opted to not have electricity. Air con was pretty useless so room was roasting. Sheets have a suspicious amount of hair that definitely was mine in them but really trying not to think about that one.

Location was great, right near train station. The breakfast was excellent with the kitchen staff ensuring I had fresh food straight from the kitchen due to my coeliac disease. The kitchen staff were the main reason I gave a high rating for this hotel.

The staff at the counter were not very friendly. The rooms need a bit of an update. Carpets are looking worn.

This hotel is just a few blocks from the train station and close to many restaurants and pubs. The suite was air conditioned, clean, quiet, the kitchen had everything we needed and the complimentary breakfast was amazing!

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy and hard.

It started well but I would ideally have given a 7 out of 10. The good things were - the reception staff who were efficient and friendly - the suite which was spacious and well equipped - the value for money for my 2 night stay. Breakfast was 100% self service and the breakfast experience felt very down market. However, the food provided was all good (not the coffee). I stayed for Friday night and Saturday night but my room was not serviced on the Saturday. There wasn't a lot that needed doing but I would have liked it to be done. I was out all day returning after 8:00 p.m. which was a bit late to bother complaining. It is probably in the nature of the type of establishment but it felt soulless.

The whole experience @ this Apartment hotel was Amazing.It started with being met by Kirt one the receptionists ,he was so helpful & knowledgable.Advising us on where to eat ,giving us a map to show where the Best restaurants were.We picked Pasture such a good choice. He also advised us we could help ourselves to some reading matter from the large selection of magasines.There is also complimentary Coffee in the Hub with a very clean lounge area. When we got to the suite we were amazed how big it was,the cleanliness was outstanding too. We didn't need to cook but it was fully equipped where you would be able to produce some decent meals . We had breakfast included & again the kitchen staff were so helpful over the 3 days we stayed. Including Anna, Nicole, Sharon &Dilvia. The food was delicious& plentiful. On our2nd dayTerry was on duty, again he was so helpful advising us on how to get to the cricket event we were in the city for. On our leaving Day as we were staying late Rahul helped us store our luggage in their safe room . We can thoroughly recommend this place, we will definately stay there again when next in Birmingham . We want to thank all the staff we met for their professinalism with a friendly attitude.

Ottima la colazione e nella sala a disposizione h24 caffè, the e diversi tipi di latte. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile e la camera e bagno sempre pulitissimi. La posizione dell'hotel è strategica a pochi minuti da più di una stazione ferroviaria.

L’essentiel était très propre mais il y avait de la saleté au sol et sur les rideaux L’établissement se situe dans un quartier commercial en déshérence… pour une arrivée tardive cela signifie se retrouver dans des rues presque vides et peuplées de personnages interlopes. On ne peut pas ouvrir les fenêtres et la ventilation ne rafraîchit pas suffisamment

The gentleman at reception was very kind, making all of our family feel very comfortable. I think he may have been a manager as he was dashing round a lot and we saw him a lot throughout our stay. He let us know where to have breakfast, timings, wifi etc. The room was very spacious and was equipped well.

The rooms were very hot! We put the air con on as soon as we arrived which sounded like it was working. However when we came home from dinner, the room was boiling again. When you take your card out the air con stops working as all the electricity goes off. Anyway it got to 11pm and the air conditioning clearly wasn't working properly and as we were only there for one night, we didn't realize it wasn't working until the middle of the night. The staff were very quick to bring us a fan at midnight though which was excellent.
