Very good Italian restaurant attached to this beautiful old hotel. Also lots of other great restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes walk. In spite of the popularity of the attached Italian restaurant, there was still plenty of parking for hotel guests. Great place!

Cute little hotel to stay at for a Niagara wine weekend. Close to some amazing wineries! Feels a little outdated, and the decor is a little haunted looking BUT that also weirdly adds to the charm. Would stay here again.

Like the closeness to Niagara on the lake, the fact that it is attached to Johnny Rocco restaurant and walkable to have breakfast and dinner at the keg!

The Stone Mill Inn is really well situated for touring the Niagara Escarpment and area. Our room was huge and really well appointed with kitchen area, sitting area and a comfortable king bed. We loved having the Italian restaurant in the same location. We loved all the amenities in the kitchen.

I would highly recommend this property, it’s clean the atmosphere was very calm, people are friendly, it was very easy to locate. Lots of shops close by.

The experience with front desk was great - they were very pleasant. The room itself was huge. The couch was quite uncomfortable since it was leather. The bed was good. Only issue was the fact that the lights are turned off in the hallway at night. Apparently they are motion sensored but just doesn’t feel safe having them turned off after a certain time.

Our hotel room was beautiful! Very clean, spacious and quiet. I highly recommend the Stone Mill Inn while traveling around Niagara area. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by and its only a 20 min drive to Niagara on the lake. We will stay again next time to come to this area! Thanks for a great stay :)

Nice stay for a night

Came in from Niagara Falls for the night. Got in at 9pm left at 8:30am. Room clean large safe and quiet. Great Value vs Niagara Falls.

It had a nice atmosphere and the restaurant was very good , it also had live music that was good

Water pressure was extremely lacking making it difficult to enjoy the massive shower

Clean room, spacious and love the walk in shower. Very modern room with exposed brick. Television could use an upgrade to allow you to sign into your own personal streaming services. Lovely experience and an added bonus that it is attached to Johnny Rocco’s Italian grill.

Hotel is beautifully decorated love the restaurant. Downstairs and the spa so convenient. Only issue was whoever entertained on Thursday night guitar player kept us up until 3:00 am hotel should be aware of any excessive noise after midnight and musician you should know better!

We always stay at the Stone Mill Inn. It’s close to family and all things Niagara. The Inn is up to date, has all the amenities I need and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant below is great for lunch or dinner and behind the Inn is a Starbucks and grocery store plus more food shops. Easy to get to.

Having a small kitchen in the loft room was very nice but was missing a few essentials like oven mitts, toaster, kettle. But very nice unique layout to the room

The lady who checked me in was very friendly, and proactively welcomed me. She quickly complied with my request for decaf coffee pods for the Keurig in the room. The room was very spacious. Although it seemed to be soundproofed, I could still hear the noise from a ballroom hall rental on the same second floor. There is a good restaurant on the ground floor.

We only spent one night here but we would definitely stay here again. Our room was lovely, with exposed stone walls and very comfortable. In addition, the entire room was clean and spacious. The hotel rep that checked us in was friendly, courteous and completed check-in quickly. We went for drinks in the attached restaurant and again, our server was extremely pleasant and friendly. The area around the hotel is convenient and we were able to walk to local restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Niagara area and we would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the Italian Restaurant, Johnny Rocco’s, right on the main level. Cuisine very tasty and reasonably priced. The room’s large feature rock wall created a cool vintage ambiance. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Hot tub and shower both worked well as did the AC in 35 C outside. Bed was comfy. Only one small negative: our coffee machine did not work. But Tim’s was close so NP! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely property. The room was impeccable with comfortable bed, and very quiet. One nice feature is that there is a freezer of ice on the 3rd floor (vs ice machines). The checkout was a bit odd, though as there was no-one at the front desk at 10:45 (11:00 checkout) and the person at the office behind was rather offhand. Perhaps their informal style. But all in all a great option for a visit to NOTL (25 minutes away). I would go back.

This is a great place to stay! Its an amazing conversion and renovation of a heritage property. Very large and clean room. It is also very quiet and great for sleeping. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is a large boutique so it has advantages.

Beautiful place, stayed 3 days here for a honeymoon. It’s close to restaurants and shopping.

The property itself was totally great. Clean, friendly staff, great service. The neighborhood-omg! While the hotel may be a boutique style, the neighborhood is a run down nightmare. Be aware that it is not a walking type destination with adorable shops and places for coffee. It’s more like laundromats and homeless folks in the adjacent neighborhoods. Nice hotel, god awful location.

A shout out to Gina, she handled our reservation with grace and kindness. We stayed at The Old Stone Mill and absolutely loved it. The building has so much character and charm, with a perfect mix of historic details and modern comfort. My room was spotless, cozy and beautifully styled- felt like a peaceful retreat. Everything was easy and stress-free and the quiet surroundings made it a great place to unwind. We'll definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!

Overall a great place

Bathrooms and room quality were phenomenal.

The property wasn't to bad, But the cleaning in the room was not up to standard as there was dust on all the pictures and tables, kitchen area had finger prints all over them. I myself as a owner operator for a janitorial company would not return to the Stone Mill in.

Lovely facility with quiet, well appointed rooms. This visit, however we found the pillows to be of poor quality and very uncomfortable. This led to very poor sleep. Disappointing, since we are return customers

Unique stay. Mix of antiques and modern. Liked the stone wall in our room. Clean. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and good amenities - ice, ice bucket, wine glasses, bottled water. (Visiting wineries in the area) Full size shampoo and conditioner. Some traffic noise - didn’t really bother us. Could use a fan in the bathroom.

Overall it's very good. But it could have breakfast included, it would be much better, and there could also be things in the minibar for us to buy.

Unfortunately there was no breakfast in the hotel or in the attached restaurant.

I use the hotel often. Good value and location.

Second time we have stayed here. Room was smaller than the one we had booked a year earlier for about the same price so not sure why, also ac fan was noisy on start up, and there was a strange red stain in the tiles in washroom but it wasn’t a surface stain. It was just an OK stay, everything else was very clean. Would be nice if they offered room service with the restaurant on site. Instead you order for pickup then awkwardly walk through the restaurant to pick it up.

Bathroom sink plug did not hold. Could not get the shower to work. Dining room was not open for breakfast. Otherwise, a beautiful lobby, lovely room, clean hallways and pleasant staff. Accommodated our need for early check-in.

A unique hotel with an interesting history. We chose this hotel over one in Niagara Falls and are very pleased with this choice.

Nice hotel, good value. I’d just say that it’s the small things that are missing. USB plugs, plugs by the bed. Didn’t really like the shampoos and stuff. Minor.

Overall the hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only issue is the lack of tech amenities. In 2025 it should be standard that hotels offer some form of usb charging system. Currently, you have to unplug other appliances and lights in order to have a socket close to the bed to charge your phone, watch, and iPad. Just provide it.

The staff member that checked us in went out of her way to help us. We arrived and I realized there is no heat. I have bad arthritis and with all the rain we were have I was in a lot of pain. She brought us up a space heater. For me I couldn’t get warm. She then put us in a room with a fireplace. Couldn’t thank her enough. We had difficulty signing into internet she came up and signed us in our devices. The building was beautiful and we wish we could have explored more but with rain rain and more rain. This was a birthday trip for my husband who turned 70. He loved it. If we ever get back that way again we would definitely stay there.
