I like this hotel

Stayed in Quest Surabaya for 2 nights. The hotel location was superb, within walking distance from the hotel you can find plenty of eateries and coffee shops. Katedral Surabaya is also nearby. The staffs were very helpful as I went back and forth to check on my package delivery. Every staffs were well trained, from the reception to the security team. The room was clean and no frills. Basic amenities were provided. I love the hair dryer, it was a good one for a 3 stars hotel. The only downside was the pillow. On the 1st night, I was restless, because of the pillow. It was in between firm and soft, very odd. I woke up with stiff neck and shoulders. Sleeping without the pillow was even better than using one. I hope in the future, they would consider other type of pillow. My room was facing the carpark of the Mercure Hotel next door. Since it was the World Cup season, every night I could hear loud cheers. Not sure from the Quest's side or from the Mercure's side. The room was not soundproof.

There was an underground parking place and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The swimming pool is also an extra to the hotel.

Comfortable and clean bed and pillows. Live music in lobby and restaurant. Swimming narrow yet long. Seems like a choice of locals.

Many minor defects in design and facilities, like chest blocking the way, bathroom having no lock, poor draining of bathtub, no refill of shower gel and shampoo, etc. But not as bad as said in other comments.

Cozy room not spacious but comfy, clean bathroom, good service but unfortunately the location quite silent and dar from kini market but not too far to city central. Choose city view for recommendation.

Great hotel, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and great pool facilities. The staff were exceptional, always polite and gping above and beyond. We will definitely be back again. Very impressed with Quest and their staff.

Best location, at the center city but nice and comfortable, child friendly, There a swimming pool and gym, Food and beverages lots of choices. good service and helpful always smile too. The room is good enough. Theres many places around for eat.

I like you avoid water plastic bottle in side room.

While booking, I selected include breakfast, but when I reach hotel, come to know the breakfast is not included.

We stayed 6 nights in the Deluxe Double 1).Very poor igene specially in the dining room with fruit flies flying everywhere and small cocorouches 2). Some of the food wasnt fresh at all. 3). The locking/unlocking system on the door kept glitching having to go down to recepoton to reset the card 4). Lobby area sofa had several stains on it 5). Hotel room service food is not a good value for money and some foods wasnt even fresh

- Location was good within 20mins from most major shopping mall - The deluxe Double room was a decent size room and comfortable bed

-No complementary water in the room - Dining room has several fruit flies and small cocorouches crawling around - Some of the foods were not fresh

Nothing. All is crap!!! It’s old and full of damps!

We are from the UK 🇬🇧, and we supposed to stay here for 4 days 3 nights for vacation, but decided to checkout in day 2! Rooms were foisty, damp and full of molds 🤮we asked to change room 2x but apparently all the rooms are same! Dirty + smell damp everywhere… AC is damn hot! Bathroom was dirty and smells funny - Any Red Doors/ OYO is even better hygiene than this hotel 😠Seriously, you guys need to take a very deep consideration to spend your money here. Despite of what people said about the location is great, to us… this wasn’t even really next to main city centre. And….. Rooms are not soundproof! So yeah, no peaceful & relax experience during our stay here. NEVER AGAIN…….!

Overall my stay was pleasant just that the bathroom had no handwash soap, had mold around the sink, the floor and sink watter keeps getting stuck.

1st thing 1st... The hotel location is very strategic coz its right in the middle of city, near train stasiun and bus station. You dont need to worry about the food coz there are so many fast food restaurants n mini market around there. The service: the receptionist is very kind, humble and helpful. But the waiters/waitress in the restaurant somehow i would say little bit rigid, little bit slow like still trainee. The room: they need to check the bathroom coz it took long times to filling the bathtub n the bathroom floor kinda no steep enough and can create puddle on the floor which is for me is big no no for bathroom. Also its shame the glass of the window is not clean. N why the cleaning service didnt clean the floor right below the mattress? It really surprised me how dirty it is. Breakfast menu: Nothing really special cause i really expect the taste will be good but it didnt taste good at all... The fried rice is not well seasoning, the fried tempe also need more seasoning, the chicken porridge somehow its toooo salty (my wife said like that). Overall the hotel is not bad but should be can be more better than that...

Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel for just 1 night as we were flying the next day. Our bedroom had not been cleaned properly. The previous occupants toothpaste was still left out on the side. Hairs all over the floors. Lots of mould in the shower. The water jug had not been filled up and still had a bit of water in it from the previous occupants. The glasses in the bathroom had not been cleaned/changed. The walls are also thin & we were given a connecting room. I was expecting a lot more of this hotel but unfortunately due to the uncleanliness of it, I was pretty disappointed.

I already stayed in Feb month 2024 also this the reason i again stay in July month also i like this hotel staff they are very nice

clean and comfortable hotel, complete breakfast, varied restaurant menu. I've stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Easy access and in the middle of the city. The room atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

The location was pretty good for us and it’s only like 30 m from probably one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve come across in Indonesia. the staff tried very hard to be as helpful as they could given the circumstances. We give them points for their personal efforts.

Don’t book floor 11 or 12 the Aircon there does not work. It seems a bit rundown and we needed to be moved of those two floors. The property was value for money but was rundown and sparkling clean. That was good enough for sleeping in the end.

Good place with full benefit. Food was good. I asked for a boiled egg and they provided it. You can go to various malls nearby such as TP mall & GC mall.

Room was spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Room safe didn’t work. Toilet leaked. Basin tap leaked. Shower cubicle leaked across floor. Only two towels provided.

Staff were very friendly and helpful as I am a solo traveler. Good value for the money. I am travelling during the Ramadan and enjoyed the ifthar organised by the hotel. Cheers

Hotel was awesome to stay at. Has a good gym and pool only minus for me was the A/C in my room was not working properly. Aside from that no other complaints i am happy to use quest hotels again when i return to Indonesia.

Gym equipment needed updating - most of it was broken We were given a ‘free upgrade’ which in reality was the hotel moving us to a full corridor most likely to make cleaning easier. We were put next to a noisy family (adjoining room) and soundproofing wasn’t great

The hotel is good. It is aging a bit, but during my stay they were renovating it. I was checked in by Fegi, who was very pleasant and helpfull, as were all the staff. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. It is a bit away from everything, meaning you have to rely on taxis, but because of that it is also very quiet at night.

The breakfast is very nice, it features several Indonesian dish as well as a variety of classic breakfast options. Staff is also giving quality service.

Bathroom equipment is worn and could be better maintained.

A no go. We got an upgrade from a superior to a deluxe room and wondered if it was a downgrade. The photo looks much better than the room is. Facilities are worn out and it does not feel clean (some spots might not disappear any more even after a deep cleaning). No idea when the windows have been cleaned the last time outside. If you open the tap of the washbasin, it touches the mirror. A plastic protection there in wood look is already falling off. Avoid to look at the sealed a d grouted parts of the shower. No towels at the pool and no staff there. Scratched toilet bowl seat and clogged toilet there. Liquid soap was empty. Staff at the reception did not know opening times of the few sights, it just consults Google maps. Breakfast staff does not speak English. The hotel seems to target mainly Indonesian customers. The egg station is outside right in front of an exhaust. The breakfast selection was good, but expect jams and juices that taste chemical.

The security were professional. The staff and front line management were organised and allowed everything to work as clockwise. Novita and Mulayadi are great in their role as all the others were able to perform their duties with professionalism as well as tender loving care. Comfortable room with every facility. The facility is well made and many services are available. The hotel restaurant is really good and the staff very friendly. Excellent value for money!

The hotel rooms are pretty comfortable and thanks to the big windows you can enjoy the view over the city. The first day we had a problem with the AC properly and the staff promptly changed our room to another one with a functioning AC. The breakfast buffet is quite varied and the offer comprises local dishes. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the dishes were very tasty.

The hotel gave us upgraded room since they asked us to wait 30min while check in. Nice

Room service and the food - really ok!

Actually we booked the hotel (for one night to catch the flight the next day very early) only for one reason - the pool (since we were travelling with our kid). After check-in we were told the pool was closed due to some activities. Nobody informed us about this issue before. Besides, the room, bathroom and carpets in the building were quite dirty, it seemed they haven’t seen the hoover for a long, long time :(

wifi doesn't work at all. We asked non-smoking room but it was smell like somebody smoked there before.

The hotel is near by downtown, clean, but they put water dispenser in front of elevator. Could be for go green. But for me, it was not comfortable. Better put water in bottle in the room, because usually I don't going out after I check in and relax at my hotel room. Over all it's worthy price.
