Pool area could do with some umbrellas or parasols for the seating area to keep the sun out IF you wanted a but of shade in the heat as it gets really hot watching the kids play, not a negative for me but would have made the pool area more comfortable for me to sit in the shade with a drink, there is an inside shaded area just up the small stairs next to the pool, so again its not really a negative for me just a suggestion

Pool area is really good, nice size and plenty of seating areas to watch the kids. Didn't venture out of the hotel much and when we did we used Bluebell taxi so not sure how close to things the hotel is as we didn't walk anywhere as its only 31,000 to the Trans Studio shopping mall area which is around £1.40
Nothing really, only alight thing was in the pool on level 5 it would have been nice to have some Parosols or umbrellas to cover the seating areas to sit in the shade as it was unbelievably sunny and red hot, would have been nice to sit under cover next to the pool to watch the kids, there is a seating area up some steps which is also shaded and beautiful and you can see the pool just, I wouldn't count this as a negative, just a suggestion to improve the pool area

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026We recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Bandung as a family group and booked 6 rooms. Even before our arrival, the hotel's staff were very responsive and followed up closely on all the arrangements through email. As we were travelling with several elderly family members, we requested high-floor rooms and 2 pairs of connecting rooms to make our stay more convenient and comfortable. We were truly delighted that the hotel fulfilled all of our requests. Everything was well organized, and the thoughtful arrangements made our family stay much more enjoyable. The service from every staff member was excellent. They were warm, professional, and always willing to assist. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained throughout our stay. We also had access to the Executive Lounge, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The counter staff always greeted us with genuine smiles and provided excellent service. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome every time we visited. The food was always served warm, well presented, and replenished promptly. The lounge had a lovely ambience and was a relaxing place to unwind and chill after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious choices, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Crowne Plaza Bandung team for your outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. We truly appreciate the effort you put into making our family trip so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bandung and will definitely choose Crowne Plaza Bandung again on our next visit.

- Executive lounge staff didnt proactively take our order when we were seated, didnt offer any drinks. Had to wait for longer than 30 minutes, we left and asked for the food to be delivered into our room. The food arrived 20 minutes later, the food was cold, the coffee was cold and one of the food, bubur ayam was missing. This is an embarassing service. - On our second last night, we had issues with the electricity/switches in the room. At almost midnight, the duty manager helped us to change to another room. Appreciate the upgrade but it was still inconvenient to move to anothe room at almost midnight. Our 3 year old already slept, and we had to move.
