Staff excellent on reception and in Skybar. Domestic staff friendly and very effecient. Most areas very clean and neatly presented.

Unpleasant smell in stairwell. More cartons of milk and tea bags needed. NOT ENOUGH STAFF AT BREAKFAST - little anticipation of a large number needing to breakfast at the same time. Had to call for help at the barrier to get out of the carpark even though my ticket had been processed at reception - an unnecessary and embarrassing end to our otherwise pleasant and relaxing stay.

Terrible guests due to reform party conference

pleasant place to stay- arrived late and left early . used the pool in morning - nice pool with a few water features but VERY DARK - the outside jacuzi was a delight and i had the place to myself . lots of outlets nearby to get a late takeaway meal ( eat in restaurants closed as after 9pm) I plan to stay longer next visit to have more time to explore the area

Disliked the VERY long walk to my room along what seemed like endless dark corridors - found it hard to pull my suitcase all that way after a long tiring journey . made me want to stay in room rather than face the long walk back to the lift to go out for food . The dark decor , made it a bit more difficult to see for those with cataracts

Location for the NEC is great as is the secure parking. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

The TV picture was really poor this time (room 408) but that’s it - as good as always - keep the standards high it’s a winner

Clean tidy and staff was amazing

We were at a gig locally so venue was fabulous. The rooms large, modern and clean.

We were told we couldn’t eat in the restaurant as it was full, even though we saw tables free. Breakfast there the next morning was chaotic and whilst delicious the service was poor, we had to go find our own cutlery and tables left manky when people left. For the money we paid I was not expecting it.

It was very messy and the spa was a huge mess on the day that we went it was also very busy there was rubbish everywhere empty cups etc.

I've stay there before and always enjoy my stay. The restaurants onsite mean I don't have to travel for food adnd can be in my room in 5 minutes.

I did not like the room as you have to step into the bath to have a shower. Next time booking I will specify a walk in shower.

The front of house staff were exceptional. Helped with my concerns and tried to do their very best . Location very good for amenities.Ourdoor hot tub was a nice touch outside in spa.

Smelt of cannabis. The pillows were very lumpy. Not worth the price tag. Spa staff again friendly but fake nails on the floor in the changing room. Facilities ok. Nothing breathtaking. Rather small.

Location, reception is lovely and the staff were very helpful brining extra towels up promptly when requested. Good selection at breakfast, although it could be labelled better to ensure you know you are having vegan sausages.

The room had a really bad smell, it smelt like dirty pond water. The pillows were uncomfortable.

Cheap toilet roll, pillows were cheap too. Aircon was flat out and boiling hot, had to ask for assistance to turn it down as wouldn’t work.

All was good at the hotel. Lovely view, great room and location for the NEC. Great access to the food outlets too. Room was clean, quiet and everything I would expect.

Breakfast was not well served. Food was good but not enough waiters to clear and serve. Only stayed for one breakfast but could have stayed for two.

Room didn’t get cleaned in 3 nights / 4 days! Paying this much you would expect that. Skybar food is very poor. Just eat downstairs in one of the chain restaurants.

Easy check in with very helpful receptionist. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfy, great shower pressure, nice touch with a nespresso machine and pods. Used the pool and spa in the morning, also lovely. Had a drink on the terrace with lovely lake views.

I didn't eat in the restaurant as I have eaten before and was pretty unimpressed - friends ate there and were not happy. So the food needs to improve.

I left our room at 1000 - having forgotten to clear the bathroom of electric razor, aftershave and toilet bag. At 2200 when we realised once home in Glasgow, we phoned the hotel. They claimed nothing had been found by housekeeping. I fully expected that answer - as the only conclusion I can reach is that these items - worth over £100- have been stolen by staff. It seems some believe keeping left behind personal effects is a perk of the job.

Always have a wonderful stay at Genting. Spacious, clean rooms. Great facilities and lots do to on site. Spa is absolutely relaxing and clean. Lots of eateries and things do do and a short train ride into Birmingham City centre. Great location.

Only two teabags in our room caused a domestic but I won both, if we were to stay there again I'd ask for four teabags instead of two 😂

We had such a lovely stay here. The hotel is beautiful, the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, especially being so close to the NEC and having everything at Resorts World right there. We had a really nice evening and a great breakfast the next morning. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The parking situation and how it's organized through the hotel is a joke...it feels like a scam and not even the staff or the Front Desk Manager seems to know and could properly inform us. This by itself is a reason to avoid this hotel if you are coming by car!!

This hotel is fantastic with friendly professional staff glad to help and keen to help with any questions. The hotel room was very clean and the hotel smelt so fresh and clean throughout. We used it to attend the Gravity show and it was only 5 minutes walk to the halls . The location of the hotel could not be better given all the restaurants and bars, plus cinema and casino upstairs oh did I forgot to mention the hotel was very quiet. Can't wait to stay next time . A big thanks to everyone!

I loved the idea of a coffee maker in the room, but as a non coffee drinker it was a bit of a waste. I wish there were a hot chocolate option. I k ow there was a sachet of hot chocolate but it wasn’t fancy like the coffees haha. The location was brilliant as was the bed and pillows!!! Where can we buy one?! Haha

The hall ways were very warm. The toilet roll holders could have done with a dust/polish. But it wasn’t the end of the world. The price was more expensive than what we would usually pay but the location was spot on, so I guess that’s what you’re paying for.

Close proximity to everything including Nandos downstairs. The sauna and steam room was lovely. The pool is the best I’ve been in. Having a refrigerator in the room was really good.

I checked in later than I anticipated. The guy that checked me in wasn’t welcoming. Also I did not read all the notes, and was surprised that I had to pay £100 which was held ‘in case.’ That £100 put me in financial difficulties. I have checked out 3 days now and that money is yet to be released. This has made me not want to stay at this hotel if I can avoid it.

Restaurant staff were excellent and helped out with gluten free request. Breakfast was excellent. On trying to get to the gym and pool I was given a code by reception who didn’t know the gym was closed. They said I was sent an email before arriving about it but I was flying and didn’t see it. I paid a premium for a gym which wasn’t available.

Staff was not overly helpful responses just short no extra additional information.

The rooms were nice and had a decent tv with screen sharing ability. Air con and shower good and nice toiletries. Proximity to restaurants and cinema also great.

The spa was very over full, to the point that we couldn't use it. As that is a big part of the draw to this hotel I felt short changed. It was also nice, but not impressive enough of a hotel to justify the cost. I've stayed in better for less money.

Used the Spa but my wife felt uncomfortable as a male was sat on a sunbed who appeared to be recording females in the pool with his mobile phone. He was asked not to by a woman in the pool, he simply waved her away. My wife asked me not to speak to him directly, so I reported him to the spa staff who apologised... No further action taken. We won't be using this facility again.

Beautiful hotel and installations surrounding it. All the added services are a plus. Quite friendly and polite staff. The room was amazing. The rooftop bar had great food, decor, and wonderful views.

Great location close to NECC. Nice and clean, friendly staff. Probably the best breakfast Iv had at a hotel. Pancakes were delicious ! It was perfect being in resort world, Lots of restaurants to choose from.

After booking table at the skybar for dinner I ordered a steak and it gave me an upset stomach which meant I couldn’t get up and enjoy the last day of spa facilities because my belly was so bad. I paid £625 for this day so was VERY upset and disappointed.

Room very clean and comfortable, with all the facilities one might expect. Breakfast varied and well presented. All in all a very positive experience - I would definitely book again.

The pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked. They seemed well used and possibly in need of an update. As in most hotels, there was a background noise of air conditioning, even when I had specifically turned it off in my room. To eliminate this I had to remove the key card that activates all the lights etc in the room. This helped, but I then had to put the key card back in temporarily when visiting the bathroom during the night and take it out again before getting back into bed - a bit of an inconvenience, albeit minor.

We were in Birmingham for Gladiators at the SEC and the hotel’s location was perfect - literally a 2 minute walk! The hotel itself was lovely, well-kept, the spa was incredible with many features such as the sauna, steam room, heated pool, roof top balcony hot tub and the heated loungers. We enjoyed many of the restaurants in the resort including the sky bar as well as the arcade, bowling alley, darts & casino all just 1 floor away from our hotel! Exceptional!

Very poor connection to the airport.No shuttle, no clear directions and a very long walk.

As a wheelchair user usually travelling with another wheelchair user, trying to find accessible hotel rooms big enough for both of us is a struggle. This room was brilliant. The room itself had space for both wheelchair and the wet room was also spacious. It was comfortable too and the staff were absolutely lovely even though we checked in rather late.
