Mostly positive: comfortable rooms, minibar restocked and daily cleaning; some room issues reported (bathroom leak, non-functioning phone, shower temperature regulation problems).

Room issues reported: mattress in poor condition (had wires), TV not working, elevators problematic for elderly guests and occasional lapses in room replenishment—some rooms and stays are fine, others have notable problems.

Multiple room problems reported: wrong/rollaway beds, broken fridge/shower/air conditioning, balcony lock issues and infestations (cucarachas); room quality needs improvement.

Multiple complaints about late or missing housekeeping, torn sheets and an instance of water in the room after an AC leak; cleanliness is inconsistent.

Positive: rooms cleaned daily, pool and beach maintained (seaweed cleared nightly); overall housekeeping praised.

Multiple guests reported unclean rooms and beach areas (rooms described as 'sucia', beach 'dirty'), missing room replenishments and a mattress with wires—indicates cleanliness issues but not universal across all stays.

Multiple reviews report dirty rooms and housekeeping failures (habitación sucia, no hacían bien la limpieza) and sightings of cockroaches; cleanliness is below expectations.

Positive mention of a good beach with ample chairs/umbrellas and convenient family-oriented surroundings.

Standard quality for this hotel tier: beach and resort setting appreciated; no strong positive or negative comments specifically about location.

Multiple positive mentions of location ('Su locación', 'La ubicación'); consistently cited as a benefit by guests.

Guests note convenience ('Todo cerca') and easy access to hotel facilities; proximity is a strong positive despite beach maintenance/sargassum issues.

Mixed: several mentions of very friendly and attentive staff, but also reports of slow service when busy, an unfriendly receptionist and problematic medical service.

Mixed: many staff were outstanding and attentive (pool animators highlighted), but there were notable service lapses (poor restaurant service at El Olivo, some staff sub-par, some maintenance requests unanswered).

Mixed reports but several strong positive mentions of staff (Ivet at the pool, Alisha, 'excelente trato') and quality human attention; described as a major highlight for many guests.

Mixed reports: some guests call staff 'amazing' and praise recreation staff, while others report front-desk sales pressure, ignored children and understaffing; overall guest-facing staff (especially activity/recreation teams) are frequently praised.

Generally praised: multiple mentions of very good meals and spectacular themed restaurants with good flavor and quality.

Very positive: breakfasts and buffet repeatedly praised (wide variety, fresh fish daily), overall dining quality considered excellent despite some restaurant service issues.

Multiple reports of low food quality at several restaurants (cold food, poor quality) and average food overall, though some outlets (e.g., TORO) were exceptions.

Frequent complaints about repetitive snacks/breakfast, inconsistent restaurant offerings, slow replenishment and some items not fresh; coffee machines and some beach restaurants were reported problematic.

Standout for families: excellent water parks, children's areas, castle show, varied activities and themed entertainment for kids and adults.

Mixed-to-negative: facilities like pools and entertainment are good, but the app is problematic (restaurant/activity reservations unclear), internal transport limited (few golf carts), pool closes early, and some included attractions/services appear missing.

Entertainment and certain on-site services were frequently praised (entertainment described as 'excellent', pool team noted as 'amazing'); however there are isolated issues (beach maintenance, elevators) but overall amenities and activities are strong draws.

Pools and on-site activities are repeatedly praised (large pools, kid-friendly night activities, good amenities and facilities to navigate the resort), though there are complaints about limited sunbeds/shade and an unsupervised beach.

Mixed value: all-inclusive plan and family offerings are strong, but undisclosed extra restrictions and perceived overcharges reduced perceived value for some guests.

Mixed: high-quality food and overall experience add value, but missing included services (e.g., certain drinks, room service, disco/surf attraction) and reservation frustrations reduce perceived value.

Several guests flagged poor cost/benefit: unexpected $500 security hold, unresolved duplicate charges, and overall comments that the experience did not justify cost—reduces perceived value.

Several guests describe the hotel as 'extremely overpriced' compared to past stays and feel the experience did not match the cost.
