Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay

Everything especially guest service when we walked in

Everything was great

Everything was great.Close to restaurants and hospital

Nothing

rooms and clearness

Clean. Good breakfast

A safe in the room would be nice

Very clean. Great breakfast

A safe in the room would be helpful

Good location

Exceptionally pricey….amenities and comfort not worth the cost. Sliding washroom door doesn’t offer much privacy

The welcoming staff. A definite improvement from my last stay in 2021.

Breakfast is less interesting and items less quality than in the past.

Easy to find

Not much

Très rapide à la réception lors de notre arrivée malgré le brouhaha des feux de forêts.

Rien

Staff was great as were rooms

It was very nicely decorated! It was clean! The staff were all so pleasant! Lovely pool and gym! The shower was hot when needed. The bed was super comfortable!

A person in front of me at breakfast really messed up the waffle machine. Maybe there should be a larger sign to state do not put too much batter in?

Location

Staff was very rude and disrespectful not just myself but witnessed same actions to a senior man! The manager told me he was going to adjust my bill for the problems his staff cause, he just wanted to talk with the owner, when I checked out I spoke with him and all he said to me was, oh Hi I haven't talked with the owner yet and walked away! I knew then he was just telling me what he wanted to and never planned on discounting my bill! I found out after, the next day that the owner is his father!!! Like he/they really give 2 shits about how there customers feel... My room was not cleaned once in 8 days, I had to ask the cleaning person 4 times to update/change my towels!! For over $300 a night for a newer place ... terrible ... already falling apart

Great staff, airport shuttle and very close to the airport which was very nice for an early morning flight.

The windows don’t open.

The price

Convenient to the airport

Everything was clean and well maintained and it’s really handy to have coffee available 24 seven in the lobby. I never trust machines in the room.

I guess I would have to say there should be more parking and easier entrance than all three hotels using one entrance

The breakfast was okay. I was hoping for more options though.

Very nice and clean

A bit out of town

Breakfast was good, good location. friendly staff.

The price.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and up-to-date.

The road leading to the hotel, which runs between this hotel and another, is in terrible condition. It makes for a bad first impression for anyone visiting the hotel, but the problem is obviously with the city, not the hotel.

Location and comfort

Great location to Airport and has a shuttle as well

Would be nice to have long term parking more than 7 days

Quiet, friendly, clean

The construction to get to the hotel

Everything

Clean

Breakfast room not very comfortable

It was clean staff were extremely accommodating.

Wifi wasn’t great room was nice and clean but I’ve stayed in better

Location

Unprofessional staff. A ridiculous fee to bring in a hockey bag and air it out. My credit card was overcharged. overall terrible

Clean rooms, no mold or mildew (another local hotel!!) and working elevators.

Access from roadway past other property was challenging given potholes, poor drainage, and vehicles parked in the lane.

That it was quite quiet considering we are close yo the airport. The room was clean.

The location was a little further away from certain that we gad to go.

I stayed two nights but both mornings I had to leave early, so I didn't have a chance to check out the breakfast offerings.

Breakfast was good

The beds were terrible and didn’t barely sleep all night

prefer fluffier pillows

Clean and bright!

There was some garbage on the elevators. Some lazy ass people left pop cans and other things on the elevator floor. Otherwise, the room was great and breakfast was wonderful.

Nice and the staff were helpful

It was in a good location

The staff was very friendly and very nice breakfast with a lot of variety was served!

Clean neatroom, breakfast good but had no bacon . Staff courteous

Pricepoint could have been lower. Need block heater receptacles for cars.

Room was clean

Breakfast can be improved

Location, cleanliness,quiet, price

The city tax grab

Location is great for travelers, especially with available transfer every 30 minutes. Staff was nice (except situation that I described in another section), room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed this staying.

I called to ask about possible transfer because I hadn’t booked it in advance and I wasn't sure that I could get it. A lady on the phone was irritated and unpleasant to speak. Maybe it was just an unfortunate moment to call, but it was upsetting experience.

Spacious

Breakfast was mediocre and no real utensils just disposable. Rooms are only made up every second day.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet despite being near the airport. The shower was nice.

Breakfast

Location was great rooms were clean

No hot tub Thin walls you can hear a lot from other rooms

Clean room, airport shuttle, friendly, efficient service

Quiet hotel with friendly staff

At breakfast everything was single use - plates, cups, cutlery and almost all the food was individually wrapped in plastic.

Nice

Close to the airport, friendly staff

Hotels are always expensive in my opinion, otherwise it was fine

Had to cancel. Did not go. Nothing to review

Friendly Staff

Nice Hotel. Loved our stay.

Ac was not very effective. Noisy highway outside the window. Staff should look up from their computers when guests enter. Breakfast was very hotel average but Hampton used to have the best breakfast

The breakfast was wonderful!

All good

This was my first time staying here. I will never again. Although it is new. That definitely doesn’t make it better. The doors slammed shut, instead of slowly closing. There was no bath tub. This was a third floor room, not an Accessible room. Plus no hot tub. For a hotel charging 3-400$ a night. I would expect better amenities. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety.

Great

Great stay. Friendly staff. Rooms are starting to show a bit of age, otherwise great

Airport Shuttle easy to find and use. Very clean transport shuttle and Driveer very friendly. The room was very clean and all amenities provided as requested. Breakfast was ok for a hotel .

I liked the property and the amenities! Great breakfast!

I booked a room and cancelled it the same day not expecting not to get reimbursed, approximately $800.00. I have stayed there multiple times since they opened as I travel to Thunder Bay once a month. They would not honour the waiver expedia requested. They should be ashamed I will not step on the property again

Really enjoyed this hotel and the staff was excellent!

Very clean, friendly staff

Convenient
