Good location (20-min walk to centre of town), excellent parking (free), quiet area - our room was on top floor at the back of the house. Great dining area and cozy lounge for everyone's use.
Bathroom ok but lacking in towels (each had a bath towel, but only one hand towel - maybe an oversight). Not a fan of contactless checking-in, no-one to greet you, maybe due to our age group (seniors), but all in all, it went well. Continental breakfast not the best, but found a great breakfast place down the road: Curious Café, excellent.
Great location Comfy beds Very peaceful
Nothing
Beautifully appointed large suite with comfy king sized bed. Huge tub.
Nothing to dislike
Very clean and comfortable
Didn’t find any fault with it. All good.
Hassle free, comfy bed
The room was spacious and comfortable
The cleanliness probably needs to be looked at as there were cobwebs above the shower and the window in the bathroom. It looked like it had been there for a while.
Great location Comfy bed Peaceful

Easy check in/out. Clean and comfortable. Great location for us as family nearby.
There didn't appear to be a fan in one of our rooms but apart from that, excellent.
Location is spot for me, convenient to the Bath road and it has parking. The hotel is of a good standard small but perfectly kept.
There are no facilities for breakfast, not even a decent continental which I do miss. That said there are hot and cold drinks and breakfast snacks available, not substantial enough for me, but if I have time I walk down to the Bath road and partake of some of the good cafes available.
The use of fully equipped dining room even though no onsite restaurant. Ease of check-in and check-out. Lots of car parking spaces, and electric charging points.
Location, facilities, friendly staff
Perhaps prefer room at the back next time. Noisey road at front.
There was no staff anywhere but there seemed to be an unseen person on the premises who could be contacted by phone Checking-in was automated and breakfast was self-service and basic. The place was very quiet.I saw nobody at all except one man clearing breakfast which was fine for me as I wanted a quiet time but could have been off- putting and strange for some people.
Considering the price ,I think one could have expected a "proper" breakfast, not disposable cups and a pre-packed waffle ( which was quite nice however) .There were tables with smart white table -cloths in the "dining room" but no plates or cutlery The food itself could just have been left in the rooms on a tray, as is done in the cheaper end of the market. The place was nicely decorated and well looked after but didn't deserve the name of "boutique" hotel in my opinion. It was trying to appear more up- market than it really was to justify the price.
Sehr schönes Haus und Zimmer. Parkplätze vorm Haus, Gartenanlage schön.
Bett im Doppelzimmer etwas klein. Bad hat etwas muffig gerochen.
The room was great, the town is very nice and small so it's relatively close distance from everything. Parking is easy and the automatized check-in/check out is really great. I'd wish we would've stayed longer.
Nothing really
Location ideal Garden nice to sit in
My husband and I stayed at The Beaumont as it was the closest hotel to my daughters and her family who have recently moved to Leckhampton. This guest house was perfect, a beautiful georgian home. Check in and out was seemless. We stayed in room 11 on the top floor, it was clean tidy and plenty of room. The best wss extremely comfy. There's breakfast snacks, coffee, tea, water and juices, in the dining room to grab in morning We brought our grandchildren back one afternoon and they loved the board games provided in the tastefully decorated living room. The outside space has sunloungers, chairs and a children's swing /climbing frame. Our grandchildren loved this. There's lots of little cafes and bars nearby we had breakfast at Bake and Brew one morning that was delicious and just a 5 minutes walk away We will definitely be returning, and would recommend
Great location Comfy beds Lovely place
Nothing
The AC unit in the room, which was effective. Also we asked for a sheet to replace the duvet - very welcome.
Bed mattress on the soft side for me, a 175cm/71 kilo male!
Clean, plenty of off- street parking, easy walk to shops, pubs and cafes.
Top floor room facing the street was slightly noisy and warm, although there is an air conditioner.
Very comfortable and home away from home. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Cool and quiet down in lower level room facing away from street. Easy walk into town; bus stops nearby.
No breakfast, but found some good cafes and pubs walk towards town. No information on what to do in the Cotswolds and bus routes to all the villages and towns.
Roomy car park. Easy to check in, using automated system. Room was clean, and spacious. Great location, within walking distance of bars etc.
No hand towels
Location and style
Pillows to hard
The whole place is lovely and characterful, and clearly well cared-for. Staying during a heatwave, I was concerned that there was not air conditioning, as such. However - what there was instead in my room -a Dyson ring fan - was probably even better than conventional AC would have been. That, along with a really comfortable bed, and a supply of tea and coffee, made this a lovely space to spend a night in this most delightful of English towns.
Nothing, really, for the price there is nothing to complain about.
Clean room- very comfortable bed
Nothing
Location, good food, friendly staff communal areas very clean and tidy apart from the pool area which had rubbish all over when we arrived great facilities in communal areas including access to a pool
Room was run down, couldn’t access the windows, no socket near the mirror, dusty fans, just needs a good clean and repaint really
Location was perfect for us. Although a little further from the centre. The local bars, cafes were really nice. Ate breakfast at the bake and brew
Stayed there many times Comfortable stay
Couldn't find a nicer place to stay. Absolutely brilliant
Nothing
Great location close to town. Easy to find, park and check in. Snacks and drinks available in the morning. I didn’t interact with staff as it was self check in and out, but had a helpful welcome email with all the details. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Had a lovely stroll into town and a picnic in the park.
It’s right on the main road so there was some early traffic noise (big lorry idling right outside at 6am) but no fault of the accommodation.
Loved the size and room and the facilities, with hot drinks and fridges to use. Beds were comfortable and showers/baths in each end (family room) location was ok if you don't mind a 20 mins walk to the metropolitan area for the decent restaurants. Parking was easy, but wouldn't want to try a busy weekend. Check-in is self service and pretty straightforward, which makes a change.
Could do with some lessons in cleaning, as lots of female hair on the bath towels and in the bath. Breakfast, which is a cold complimentary waffle with some chilled orange juice Cotons and a selection of tea bags and coffee bags with a miniature kettle, it was a bit of a joke for the price of one night.
Great location, easy to find, Very easy, efficient checkin
Room was perfect size very comfortable air conditioning supplied which helped our sleep more relaxing
We loved the property check in/out was very easy only thing to fault possibly is minimal staff but this wasn’t a problem just to know there was some staff to help if needed
Aircon unit provided in room
Poor breakfast selection
Location
A very nice and comfortable hotel. We especially loved the huge shared living room for everyone to use. Free car park
Apart from location, it made for a perfect stay in Cheltenham. A well-run business. Thank you.
Place well kept with self check in, room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable mattress. Even had some complementary water in the fridge, very much appreciated with the heatwave

Appealing interior design with interesting art and personal touches. Felt like it had been invested in recently. Our basement room was small but clean and had everything we needed including freestanding Aircon unit which was needed in this heatwave. No breakfast but we knew that on booking. Easy to find and off street parking is great. It is at least half an hour to walk into the centre of town.
I really wanted to give a better review as the room and ambience were good, but the customer service was non-existant. The self check in machine recognised our booking but didn't issue our key cards. We then tried to get replacement cards but it no longer recognised the booking. We emailed the duty manager and phoned several times leaving messages to no avail. 3 days later we have still had no reply. We eventually asked a man who was watching Wimbledon in a private room for help and he gave us the master key telling us that it opened all the rooms in the hotel! If we hadn't found him we would have been stuck with no hotel room. There was an unoccupied reception room with the door propped wide open and a computer visible with customers booking information on the screen. I couldn't recommend given the slack attitude to security of guests safety, belongings and information along with such a terrible check in experience.
everything; room comfort charming clean walking distance from Leckhampton high street garden
absence of breakfast, there should at least be a coffee machine and some pastries
beautiful property in a brilliant location, perfect for a Cheltenham break
Great location near Old Bath Road & easy walk into Cheltenham. Parking is good. Nice room.
Room on small size but fine for 1 night & nicely designed.
You ask what I thought of the staff - but there were no staff - which felt a little strange. The room was lovely, clean and spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast was frankly disappointing. Coffee and tea fine, but high fat/sugar waffle really not what I usually eat. It would have been easy to provide something a little healthier, a bowl of fruit perhaps and some pots of yogurt
Excellent room and facilities
Nothing
Large comfortable house, unstaffed. Self-help access worked extremely well.
Easy to find, big, bright and comfortable room, air conditioning was great
Nothing
Beautifully maintained and furnished "period" house, lovely grounds and plenty of parking. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was also well presented, with strong Wifi and a quality power shower in the bathroom. Digital check-in was very easy and efficient. The owners make it very clear that there is no breakfast service, but instead provide complimentary waffles, cereal bars and coffee / tea in an airy dining room. The only minor problem was no TV for my first night as the remote control was faulty. However this was remedied, with sincere apologies from the friendly owners, for my second night there.
All very good.
Value for money and location to town centre
.
The Out of Africa room decor and electronic check in
No breakfast but we were happy to use a local café, Brew and Bake which was really good.
Room was very clean
It was fine - didn’t not like it. Didn’t see any staff, but that was ok. The book in machine was good.
Everything, easy check in check out Fabulous themed room Great value for money Location was perfect
Nothing
Very comfortable and well equipped room
Limited head night in some areas, notably the shower
Good location to walk into town. Plenty of parking. Nice room.
Road noise was an issue -lots of traffic in the morning No reception so rather impersonal
Easy check-in to the hotel using a screen in the entrance hall. Our room (lower ground level) was spotlessly clean with outlook onto the gardens. Very comfortable bed/pillows and modern bathroom with a good shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with two bottles of water provided in the mini fridge, as well as a good supply of single portion milks. Spacious guest lounge with views onto the gardens, with drinks and snacks available, handy for our car journey home. EV charge point in the car park which we used on arrival (required download of an app) which was straightforward. Short walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants, but a longer (level) walk of around 25 minutes into the centre of Cheltenham.
N/A
The hotel is situated by a busy road in a residential area, just a short walk from shops and cafes. The city centre can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. There is plenty of parking available in the private car park next to the hotel. The automated check-in process was quick and convenient. The building and the garden are lovely and well-maintained.
The Wifi barely worked and was only accessible in one corner of the room near the door. The mattress was a little too soft for two people, as movement from one person could easily be felt by the other. Other than that, the room was pleasant, though it wasn't quite worth the price.
We found the ability to park at the Hotel before check in very useful
We knew that no breakfast was supplied but felt that their should have been the facility to heat the supplied waffles in the breakfast area would have been useful
Very high quality & plush furnishings, felt luxurious
Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Quiet area, very comfy bed, great bathroom, no hassle about checking in and out, parking space available. Thank you.
No complaints. If I were to recommend something, a coffee machine would have been welcomed. But we had a kettle, instant coffee and tea, so everything was fine.
The room was fantastic. Everything you could need including a Dyson fan! They had thought of everything down to a light up make up mirror to safety mats in the
Nothing not to like!
Very easy to book in and a very well appointed room.
We really liked the location, check in procedure, and cleanliness.
The help provided
N/A
Very grand, spacious public rooms where plenty of fruit, snacks and drinks are provided (as no breakfast service). Honesty drinks cabinet is also a bonus. Availability of parking before and after normal checkin to allow visits into Cheltenham, which is a wonderful place itself. Easy access and good location, too. We shall be returning!
The cold, windy weather😵💫!
It was a lovely hotel.
Lovely quaint old building, lovely furnishings and fittings . A reserved car parking space was very useful. So much more interesting than your average hotel . Also the garden is lovely to sit in .
Nothing
The size of the room was adequate enough to occupy 4 of us with a master bed, a sofa-turned-bed and a single convertible bed which was foldable. The room was very clean, and the cooler option provided was very thought-provoking.
The cooler provided was not manoeuvrable. It was closer to the single convertible bed, and it wasn't throwing enough air at others. Would suggest a standing fan or a much more convenient and portable cooler to be provided for the guests during summer. If breakfast is also served, then the value for money aspect would be great.
Eigenlijk niets
Breakfast was non existence so went to to local cafes.
Great location Comfy bed Great room
Nothing
Style of room and separate lounge to use
A little cramped in the room Pillows a little uncomfortable Shower was slow to warm up and lacked a little power
Facilities are just honestly amazing. Our daughter has a lot of food intolerances and having a fridge and microwave in a room - amazing - all I can say. The cleanliness was on point it was a pleasure, only downside is we were only there for a night, we didn’t want to leave. The garden was absolutely beautiful down to the most magical elements my little sister loved - fairy door and the play kitchen. Every detail in this house is just thought out perfectly for an amazing comforting stay.
Check-in și check-out foarte ușor de făcut. Ne-a plăcut foarte mult.
Totul a fost foarte bine
Great location. Car parking. Property lovely clean and comfortable
Nothing
Easy to check in automatically, and the rooms were generous and comfortable.
A stunning property with a first class way of entry
The mattress was so soft and there could be a non slip mat in the bottom of the shower. The cupboard looked like it hadnt been attended to in a good long while as there were a dusty pair of new shoes in the cupboard and a worn suit hanging in it
WE have stayed here before. Budget rooms but very clean and well appointed-very good decor-amenities-fridge/water/kettle etc excellent. Small rooms but we only wanted to do an overnight after the Malvern Show and mee with family in Cheltenham. Would have had a coffee in the morning but no time! house is well furnished and decorated-good standard. Garden a good addition for families or sitting i sunshine. Easy checking in. Only thing is we agreed that absolutey no sign of staff at all during visit was a little strange! Like Marie Celeste. Like to be offered a good rate-meamns we will come back and stay longer
Nice to have had the coffee machine available when you arrive. Maybe seeing someone-staff just to reassure it is not a deserted house!
Super easy to check in and out with free parking. The room was compact but perfectly formed with everything needed. The bed was really comfy with lovely fresh linen. The shower was fabulously hot and powerful - perfect after a long day of working. Complimentary snacks in the morning were very generous as the hotel does not have a breakfast service (as advertised)
There was a tiny amount of noise from other rooms but nothing awful and this is an old building at the end of the day so has to be expected
great location to explore the cotswolds. Very comfortable, clean hotel. Very good value for money. Very easy to check in and out of the hotel.
nothing. all was very good
Clean, quiet, well maintained.
Location
Diffoculty reaching staff for problems. No one is there. Did not return my call. Extremely rude staff The rudest most unhelpful I have ever encountered.. Mold in shower/ tub enclosure. Room not cleaned/tidied at all one day. No hand towels or face cloths. No Netflix. Very rickety and slanted stairs. Some lamps in room.not working. No charging connections for phone/computer. Adapter plugs necessary to bring. Refrigerator not secured in place and dlid out of enclosure. Very low quality breakfast snacks. No paper napkins at bteakfast snack/ becerage statiom. A disaster. I would never stay there again
Easy self check in. Was just a perfect experience for a special night away.
Ease of check-in, plenty of free parking, comfortable beds and crisp white bedding.
Only 2 bath towels in the room. No hand towels or flannels.
Very well presented, clean property with plenty of character .Comfy bed with good pillows (so important).Excellent location being just a 5 min walk from very good coffee/breakfast shops & 20 min walk to centre of Cheltenham.Ideal .
Check in process didn’t work but was able to locate duty manager to sort out - 10pm Sunday evening!
Stayed in room 11, was actually really lovely, usually get a themed room or a suite, but this room is a little gem. Love the location and the peaceful atmosphere.
There’s not anything we don’t like except we miss the breakfast muffins :)
Brilliant, comfortable, convenient accommodation for an overnight stay in Cheltenham. The staff-free experience works seamlessly.
Nothing!
The rooms were great, very comfy bed, nice bathroom, and refreshments in the room. The communal areas were very welcoming, relaxing and cosy
Fiona very kindly allowed us to drop off our bags in the morning before the check in time.
I wish there was a vending machine there.
very good comfort and cleanliness also the location was good
How close this was to nearby areas and secure parking.
Didnt spend enough time there to have a negative reaction to anything
Location is great. Hillside view dated, with need of modifying.
Kettle in lounge area and room were poor, travel kettle was not substantial to make 3 cups of tea, considering there were 3 adults staying in one room.
