Holiday Inn Express - Springfield Downtown by IHG

It’s conveniently located across the street from Mass Mutual Center. I recommend staying here when attending an event. The room was nice and clean. There were a lot of options provided for breakfast.

The parking lot is two blocks away. We didn’t mind because it was safe and already planned to go places within walking distance.

The breakfast was good. A little better than the normal hotel spread. The staff in the breakfast room were really good, attentive.

The parking situation was terrible. I had understood there would be onsite parking. I have photos of the street parking and the lot that is available to guests 3 blocks away. As a single older female walking at night, I did not feel secure. The only onsite parking is on the street outside (4 spots), street around the corner (5 spots ) and in the alley behind (6 spots). The lot was dark, scary and 3 blocks away. The streets nearby are under construction. I feel like i should get some of my $ back.

Convenient and clean. Breakfast was good

Great value for the location.

It was a noisy location.

Spacious room

Unfriendly welcome , receptionist would talk on her smartphone instead of making eye contact, which was very strange.

Breakfast was very basic, everything else was great! Nice place, nice fews, great location. Parking was a bit of a walk, but it was free, which was nice!

Large rooms Good Breakfast

Limited at site parking, but free parking within 5 minites iwalk is provided

The food are too sweet.

Great staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good.

Only that the breakfast potatoes too spicy.

Easy access and clean

It was close to everything

It was clean and neat.

Its location (it looks better in the pictures), and that we weren’t given free drinking water as in other hotels.

Breakfast was great, room was clean, location convenient and staff was kind and professional

The lack of on site parking was tough, as I was here for a sporting event and needed to save my legs and having to walk to the parking garage wasn’t ideal. The hotel did a great job of managing it, though, with parking vouchers at least!

Great staff and great rooms! It was a pleasure staying there! Will do again soon!

Clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast

Nothing

The convenience to the museums

Street noice can be loud

Super friendly staff, clean room and free breakfast.

Location is convenient to the convention center and casino but not much else is in the area

Location and staff

It was dirty and expensive

Location

All, staff are very unfriendly and rude, they don’t clean the main facilities

The location.

Parking lot was closed for construction.

The property was clean and employees were very nice

The location was perfect. It was only a 3-minute walk to our event.

The breakfast was lacking and I have allergies (gluten and dairy) and had no options. Usually hotels at least have some time of dairy-free milk/creamer. It was very loud at night, which isn't your fault, it's the location.

Facility

Street noise

The staff was very nice

Close to the Mass Mutual venue. Parking was very close. Staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered a wide assortment, kitchen staff paid attention and were helpful.

Everything was great!

Everything staff really helpful and friendly 🙃

Location was perfect for my event at the MassMutual Center. The staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was clean and comfortable and close to everything I needed.

Hot water modulation in my room was VERY off... went from scalding to ice cold and not easily adjusted. Parking is a little wonky but definitely manageable and you can walk to so many places it's not bad once you've parked.

Very clean

Nothing actually

Very convenient location. Across the street from the sports center, a block away from the casino, and Roses Pizza (the best place to eat ) free parking, free breakfast. Really comfortable beds. 👍👍👍

That I could stay longer, we had to get home after our weekend conference over at the Sheraton…we stayed here and enjoyed the 3 block walk to the Sheraton each morning.

Suprisingly surprised by the hotel. Very clean. Room was great. Breakfast has A LOT of options. Gym and pool looked nice- though did not use them.

There was a funky smell in hallways and elevator-- almost like bad bleach or something. Need to have extra TP for rooms in the bathroom. Elevators very small and hotel not in the best of areas. little expensive- especially for the area

The breakfast is good and the location is near by Amtrak

None

Close to the MGM Arena for the hockey game.

Staff was inattentive and seemed like a bother to ask them to help us.

The rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean !! Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in awhile!! Kudo's to housekeeping. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when in the Springfield area.

The room was spacious and clean.

Great experience

Room was spacious

Beds are extremely comfortable, it’s clean and the shower works great.

Close to everything. We ate just down the street. And saw our event show a few block away.

I liked how the staff immediately took care of the issue we had. They gave us our room. When we opened the door there was still guest in the room. Embarrass. However the lady at the front desk was very apologetic. And did upgrade our room for our stay.

The room was very nice and clean. The only issue we had was it was noisy due to being by Main Street. And parking was a bit of a problem.

Clean comfortable room

No parking at the end of the night . Had no choice but to park at casino to then walk to hotel because hotel parking were all taken. This hotel was booked due to day stay surgery that I had Friday so walking was supposed to be a no. Getting dropped off to then find parking was also a ni since I needed help to walk. Horrible experience.

Staff, room

Parking

It was clean

My flight left a day ahead of time and I was told I would not be charged. I checked out on 2-22-26 at 4:30 am due to storm and airport would be closed. Didn't have television until 5:00 pm on 2-21-26 because the remote was broken.

Great value for money. Well-appointed rooms: comfortable bed, bathroom amenities include full size Dove products. Lots of light in room including reading lights positioned over bed. Breakfast was a nice surprise including a variety of hot and cold options. Hot options changed daily during our stay. Easy access to highway. And, if visiting the casino is on your list, it is a five minute walk. Very helpful staff.

The cleanest the easiest way to get at the location.

The employee at night was rude and did not answer when I said hello and she was like mad.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean and full. Rooms clean. Everything was great

Weather was negative in cold. Nothing you could have done

Everything

Housekeepers to loud in the morning.

Location was great. Rooms are very nice and large. Very roomy.

Maybe the parking closer. Having to walk in the snow and cold stinks. I know there isn’t much you can do about it but it’s really the only complaint. E sry tho g else was great.

Breakfast was good bed comfortable

Housekeeping needs to step it up ..my toilet was very dirty with hair

Foi bom

Da vista pela janela nao tinha nada para ver de bom

The staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I requested an early check-in and a quiet area and my requests were granted. Thank you!

There was no covered parking, it was in a separate parking lot, it was cool and raining during my visit so it was a challenge with going out. Breakfast was available, but there was not a good selection of healthy options and the coffee was not good.

Quiet and clean . Very friendly staff

Loved everything
