Rooms were spacious and pretty quiet! Pool was a decent size and the bar staff was great.
Not much!
The property was in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. Staff were wonderful and provided exceptional customer service.
The pool and spa area needs to be updated and made to have a more luxurious feel. With that said the pool and spa area is clean and still a nice place to enjoy cooling down in.
Need a recombinant bike in the gym
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paseo. The hotel has a beautiful, upscale atmosphere, and the rooms are stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary valet parking was a great touch.
The only disappointment was the pool temperature. In the extreme late July heat, the water was much too warm to be refreshing. When it’s that hot outside, a cooler pool would make a big difference.
I loved the location! The rooms are great!
That the bar at the pool closed at 5pm and the restaurant had a private event! That was a little inconvenient.
They gave me a handicap room which I didn't like.
Location and staff
Cleannes
The room, the shower, the pool, everything!
Barista needed training. I think she was new.
Convenient to meeting
It's way too hip for ordinary folk and they let you know it.
The location was awesome. it was a beautiful hotel. Everyone was friendly. We've already booked our next stay!
I don't think there was anything I didn't like.
clean. nice location to shopping on el paseo
front desk staff not friendly. Almost grumpy.

Location, artwork and great staff.
The staff was excellent and the hotel was very clean and perfectly located.
Staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Small maintenance item that I reported to the front desk on leaving was well received.
Location it’s a beautiful property, has outdoor activities, a bar & good food.

Comfortable rooms and very quiet property. Interesting art collection on walls. Outdoor seating available for some rooms. Clean property.
Location not as lively as downtown properties at similar price point. Ridiculous nightly resort fee for little value if you don't hang around pools or hit the gym. AC units in bathroom run continuously.
If your in the Palm Spings area look to Palm Desert for the best the area has to offer if you want shopping or good restaurants and great weather Try the Hotel Paseo ,its a block from the best shopping it has a dozen great resturants a couple minutes walk or drive away and pool and pool bar thats amazing . This is much better than average for the area and close to the Nest and other hwy 111 hot spots . Dont be fooled by big name hotel chains that give you the minium when this place gives you everything at a good price .Even the room service menu is well thought out . No extra fees no hidden charges just quality ,friendly service and satisfaction
Bed was comfortable. Towels ok.
No staff at front desk upon arrival. Had to knock on door behind desk. The staff then proceeded to assign two rooms which were near exit doors despite my request for a quiet room. The hotel was not fully booked. In the morning no one was at the lobby coffee bar at 7:30 am. Flagged down a staff person who went on a search for someone. When I returned to the hotel after my meeting, housekeeping had entered the room to strip the beds, throw towels on the floor even though I had not checked out.
This hotel is well situated in the heart of Palm Desert and close to El Paseo shopping and dining. It is also close to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. The hotel is quirky and modern, but well designed, with the lovely pool etc at the rear of the hotel. The vintage Cadillac in the lobby is also fun to see. The Larkspur Grill is very good, and it has entertainment some nights too. The staff are all very good and professional, and especially Valerie on the front desk, who is a great asset to the hotel. Lucas and the team are also very welcoming. We were kindly assigned the room that we requested, which we love, and appreciated that. We have stayed a few times, and look forward to our next stay. Thanks again to all staff.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Outdoor patio for morning coffee.
It was very noisy this visit with mounds of In and Out burger trash piled in our hallway the morning after the partying. Coachella event was hosted at hotel with blaring Red Bull truck assaulting our senses at lobby. The hotel should have advertised this on the web page.
We were very happy with our stay here at Hotel Paseo. It was quiet and clean and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel has a spa for treatments, and a great swimming pool with a few cabanas for rent and a bar for drinks and food poolside. The small cafe was perfect for a quick snack or small breakfast, and if you want more, there is a restaurant connected. The valet service was exceptional and the location is prime for anyone on a mission to do some shopping. The room was spacious and clean and great comfy bedding! We would definitely stay here again.
Everything exceeded our expectations!! Nothing that we did not like.
Our favorite hotel to stay in when we visit Palm Desert. Great location. Great to walk to all the shops and restaurants on El Paseo. Very good accommodations, love the pool, the staff is excellent! We enjoy the restaurant in the hotel with live music on many of the nights.
We just returned and I highly recommend Hotel Paseo! The location was wonderful, the hotel was clean, modern and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hotel amenities. The outdoor area is beautiful, with fire pits, a large pool and hot tub, turf, ping pong, corn hole, plenty of seating, bar and pool service. We spent a lot of time outside in the evenings, playing games and using the hot tub. There is shuffleboard in the lobby and a spacious fitness center. Valet parking is included but we found ample street parking right outside the hotel. Location is great for restaurants, shopping and activities. We had a fridge and a balcony. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved this hotel!
Every year we travel to the Desert and enjoy staying at the Hotel Paseo b/c it's a mid size hotel with all the amenities. Plus you are across the street from the Palm Desert mall and a block from El Paseo drive which makes it convenient to walk. If you like being close to town this is the place.
This is a mid tier hotel with luxury hotel prices. The location is great for being close to el paseo. The trade off is that it’s not a resort-y property: pool and amenities are limited. Not a bad thing but something to consider if you are here for a pool, golf, tennis vibe. It’s a newer property so the rooms are comfortable. However, the service is a big miss. We let the property know in advance we were spending our wedding night with them. We weren’t expecting a big room upgrade.. but didn’t even get an acknowledgement or card. They gave us an accessible room and the TV didn’t work. No offer to switch rooms. I’m disappointed we spent our wedding night here and honestly don’t think I’d be back. At this price point, you can get a wonderful room and experience elsewhere in the desert.
This was a disappointment. Didn’t book an accessible room, got an accessible room. Told them we were getting married and was met with congratulatory email but nothing was done to celebrate. Seems like a big fail from a customer service perspective. Wasn’t expecting to roll out the red carpet but we are lifetime platinum and absolutely nothing was done. Big miss. The rooms are very basic for the price you pay. Location is nice and staff is very nice but we’ll stay elsewhere next time we come to the desert (which is two to three times a year).
Beautiful
This is a great hotel. Had a great 2 night stay here. Loved the pool, spa and the outdoor bar. Bartenders are excellent and fun to chat with. Outdoor space is beautiful with fire pits at night. The room was modern, roomy and comfortable. Everything is very clean. Room was quiet at night. Bathroom large and functional. I love the location. Close enough to walk to many good restaurants. Valet charged up our Tesla every night for free. Fantastic place and a great stay.
Amazing hotel with the absolute best staff and amenities! Make sure to checkout the Larkspur Grill restaurant! The restaurant and bar staff are out of this world! Beth and Matteo are unbelievable hosts. Thanks so much for the fun week. #livelikealocal
This hotel was fine but not for me. There are so many rooms and it is very sprawling. It was a very, very long walk from my room to the elevator and I kept getting lost because there were no signs directing to the elevator. I liked that my room had a balcony with a mountain view. Check-in was quick. Decor of the hotel was nice and modern. All in all, it was fine, but seeing how my feet were so tired from all the hiking during the day, I didn't like that I had to walk so far in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for people with mobility issues. There were lots of kids there. Location was right in the middle of things. The pool was busy and noisy. Kind of an overwhelming and chaotic atmosphere. Wouldn't stay there again.
Autograph Collection of Marriott is generally pretty good. This has good location near shopping district. I intentionally did not want a golf/tennis resort and this is just a hotel. Modernish. It's "quirk" is a collection of 50's cars (and an Airstream trailer ) on site. Restaurant was just 'ok'. As far as I could tell, there was no other breakfast option onsite except the Starbucks-like take out cafe with limited options. It also wasn't clear to me that the items were made fresh every day. It was ok as long as you didn't want room service or table service. Other than that, nice property. Room had small balcony overlooking the pool which was nice. And - for me important - the room actually had a bedside clock.
The main reason I stay at this property is its proximity to the Palm Desert business I visit while in the Palm Springs area several times a year. The front desk staff is friendly, beds comfortable, and decor/art in public areas pleasant. Nice gym off lobby. When open, the cafe lobby offers an assortment of good grab and go options.
As I approached the hotel lobby doors with my suitcase, I was greeted aggressively by valet staff with, "are you checking in and is that your vehicle?" Clearly he was focused on identifying the guest who had left a car parked in front of the lobby without providing keys. How about "welcome to the Hotel Paseo" before launching into an inquiry and maybe work on observation skills as the first set of eyes for the property- I walked down the hotel driveway entrance and was nowhere near the car on my approach :). Patio table outside Room 114 slider was extremely dirty; could not enjoy a meal outside my room on a coolish desert evening. Those should be checked by hotel staff and rinsed especially after the rare desert rain that happened immediately prior to my stay. Seals on in-room refrigerators are wearing; property may want to replace those as needed. Make sure to check that your frig door stays closed or you may have room temp items in the morning. No ice available for guests staying in first floor rooms off lobby,. Have to cross considerably-sized lobby and take elevators to Floor 2 or 3 for ice. It's awkward. But mostly guests are not told this at check-in. I wandered the first floor looking for the ice room before inquiring at the front desk. If you are a light sleeper, make sure to request that engineering turns off the bathroom fan or you will listen to it all night. Again, it would be great for the front desk staff to alert guests that request a quiet room. Hotel charges a silly resort fee for few amenities. A tiny bottle of water and complimentary flavor-infused water in the lobby are about the extent of the resort amenities. This is on top of $300 or more per night in a neighborhood that is isolated from most of the area attractions and next to a dead outdoor mall/empty Paseo shopping district (20 minute drive down the 111 from Hotel Paseo to downtown Palm Springs).
We enjoyed our stay and room emincely.
Great property. Great area, walkable to shopping and restaurants
amazing
Business trip. Unfriendly staff at check-in, air conditioning did not work correctly and some weird vibration sound all night
Really kind and responsive staff. Beautiful room, beautiful setting.
Great clean place
The location, service, and ambiance of this hotel was perfect for a short business trip. My colleagues and I had a chance to enjoy the pool and partake in happy hour. Had a delicious Bavarian pretzel with dips! The room was comfortable and service was top notch. We enjoyed walking to Paseo restaurants and shopping. They kindly accommodated a late checkout on the last day of our conference. We will return again next year!
Hotel was clean and new. Staff upon checking in, and valet, were professional and courteous. Great location. Very impressed.
Great!
Wonderful stay. Clean, awesome, cute place. The front desk lady was so friend, easy to talk to, and professional. Love this place
Hotel Paseo was beautiful! Everything was extremely clean & beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly & helpful . The room was immaculate & had a lovely view of the courtyard where chairs & games were set up. I also loved how big the bathroom was.
I love this hotel. Lobby is so cute and staff are all friendly. Also offered free valet parking. Super close to shopping area with lots of restaurant choices. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Pal Desert.
Great hotel
Hotel is in a great location. Beds are comfortable (the pillows especially!). Staff are friendly and attentive. Great stay all around!
Great hotel! Loved the decor, and ability to walk to shops and restaurants.
Clean room and the cleaning staff super friendly and courteous
I was in town for business and enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is compact compared to many of the “resorts” and I was able to park or walk or uber to everything. The proximity to El Paseo and shopping and dining is great. My only “complaint” is that the Larkspur restaurant for dinner has very slow service ( I only observed two servers) and the band inside made any type of conversation impossible, so I sat outside, which was nice. But it was crowded in the restaurant, so obviously a lot of people like that atmosphere to dine in. They do not have a breakfast restaurant for dining, more of a cafe with grab and go or you can sit in the lobby to eat, but that’s on plates with plastics cutlery, which may pose a challenge if you’re trying to cut toast. The room was well equipped and the outside deck or patio is great. I had a small refrigerator and Keurig for coffee, which was included. The pool is great and they had some floats for guest use. The bartenders were so nice and attentive. Overall the staff seemed happy to work there.
We have stayed in 4 Marriott hotel in the last 6 weeks. Hotel Paseo was the best. Check-in was easy and quick. The staff was warm and friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel over the others in the area.
The staff were all very nice. Small pool and boutique feel. This is good if you’re coming to shop and not spend most of the time at the pool. If you’re all about pool time pass on this one. Room, bed, hotel, bar, employees, everything was perfect.
Excellent and friendly staff. Great size room and wonderful shuttle service. Going back in November!
Great location and comfort room.
Lovely hotel very nice staff
We stayed in our favorite room, we really love this boutique hotel and enjoy every time we stay . The staff is great, you can walk to many wonderful restaurants and stores.
Loved everything about the hotel. The valet were so nice and their shuttle service is amazing.
Clean, friendly staff
Great
Staff was genuinely kind and friendly, especially Dyana and Javier. The hotel was very busy with a large party/function the night of the 23rd, but staff was present and attentive. Kept on top of cleanliness.
Had a wonderful, but short, stay.
Was my 1st time staying at the paseo. I’m glad i made the choice. I would stay here again. Clean, comfortable, chill vibe. I really like this hotel and would recommend it to others.
Neil and the team at the pool/cafe bar are the best. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Devyn & the front desk team are courteous and knowledgeable about the area. LOVED our shuttle driver." My only issue stems from a 3rd party booking issue but truly Hotel Pase is AWESOME!
Room: Exactly as described and pictured. Bed are comfy and come with tons of pillows! Internet was solid, Tvs preloaded with Max for free, netflix and you tube. Large restroom, truly well appointed. Pool: FABULOUS! Neil is THE BEST. Love his command of the menu, watching over my cup makong sure my wine was always full and on a cold bed of ice! There are 3 cabanas perfectly outfitted toms of chairs and esthetically pleasing. Loved the direct service to our seats ..really made our pool time enjoyable. Cafe: great selection of items for every appetite. The fries are seasoned perfecly and crispy outside with soft middle. We worked our way through handhelds and breakfast items during the stay and topped off each day with the most DELICIOUS cookies in town!! LARKSPUR: went down for dinner on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to find a band playing. We were not aware of the $12 enetertainment fee until we reveived the bill..not like I truly mind as they were great, but would have been good to have the knowledge in advance. We dined on the carbonara with shrump (fun twist) and short rib pasta.. 2 favorites per our waitress Katelyn and they didnt dissappont. Large portions!! 5 stars to everything, except a major hiccup at check in. I did book through a 3rd party as I had points and there were great incentives to do so. Unfortunately I was charged AGAIN for our stay and wasnt able to rectify being overchrged until check out to "make ot easier on everyone". I did sumbit a
I loved everything about this Hotel! Pure class! Pool and bar staff top notch! Very attentive. Love the amenities!!! Will definitely return to this property!
Had a work trip in Palm Desert and Hotel Paseo was right in the heart of El Paseo Dr and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff, beds were so comfortable
I wish I knew the guys name that checked me in. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The vibe of the hotel is so cute. Its very clean. Everyone I encountered, pool bar staff, front desk and housekeeping were all friendly. The ac in the room worked great. The only minuses were the elevator seemed really warm. But you're only in it for 20 seconds. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was great. However, there was a drain (maybe from the AC?!) that drained on to the balcony. We didn't realize it and had our stuff out there drying some hung to the ground and got wet. It didnt take away from our stay its more just be aware. I'm sure its not all the rooms. I am fairly picky about where I stay and I would recommend this spot!! It's clean and has everything you want, big bathroom, nice bed, good ac, but still boutique vibe with all the artsy, eclectic, communal touches.
Loved this hotel! Cant wait to s
Nice cafe
Overall atmosphere, chill, relaxing, quiet and inviting. Definitely coming back again!
The customer service was amazing!
This place is a gem! Mid-century building decorated with an impeccable taste. Just the Lobby it’s a work of art with the coolest red car in the middle of it. Rooms are very nice super clean and nicely decorated. The pool area is very cool and confortable. The restaurant is great, and the staff super friendly. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Palm Desert.
The hotel is gorgeous and we loved the vintage red Cadillac in the lobby. Lucas greeted us at the desk and was friendly and attentive. The room was nice sized and the shower head was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!
Second stay at this hotel. Will not be the last’
We loved our stay at Hotel Paseo. I have to say the most luxurious and comfortable bed for a hotel. My daughter and I were in heaven and had the best sleep. Loved the boutique hotel which was intimate and chic. The staff was awesome and super friendly. The lobby was fun and inviting. The shopping is across the street so the location couldn’t be better!! Would definitely stay again wish we had more time to explore the restaurants but it eas a quick 36 hrs. Thanks Hotel Paseo!
I loved my stay here! It’s a very cute and charming hotel w being modern and new at the same time. Location is fantastic and the bartender/pool attendant is so nice. Comfortable beds, will charge car overnight for a small fee. Will def be back.
