The fact they assigned me a smoking room. I am amazed they still have them! And to be given one without requesting one should never happen!

The suite was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was also perfectly fine

Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of damp and mould, which was particularly unpleasant in the bathroom. There was very poor ventilation, the windows could not be opened, and visible mould was present on the bathroom door and in the corners of the walls. The toilet and sink also appeared poorly cleaned, with noticeable limescale and discolouration. The mattress, sofa and carpet had visible stains as well. Overall, the lack of ventilation seems to contribute significantly to the persistent damp smell and the condition of the room.

Really clean, staff were really friendly, the 9th floor had a water tap where you could refill bottles and the beds were really comfy! They also stored our luggage as we arrived earlier than check in, due to flight times. Good location to reach other areas of Surabaya with Grab.

The bathroom kept flooding when having a shower as the drain was not working. Most annoyingly the aircon did not work well and left the floor boiling, making it difficult to sleep.

Overall everything was good and breakfast was very good

Very helpful and professional staff. We only stayed one night as a stopover, but we can highly recommend the service here. Prompt organisation for a taxi in the morning. Reception are always on call to help anytime. Nice clean comfortable rooms for the price.

L’hôtel était idéalement situé, 10min en Grab depuis l’hôtel pour aller dans le centre ville. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet très varié. Le personnel est très chaleureux et professionnel et n’hésite pas à vous aider si besoin, quant à la chambre conforme a la description et aux photos, on s’y sentait bien. Un agréable séjour passé dans cet établissement. Je ne peux que recommander

Bed size was good - bathroom was good. Room size was fine.

There was no mini-fridge in the room. Every other hotel I have stayed at has a mini-fridge - this is the only hotel that I have stayed at without a fridge. The WIFI was not secure and poor signal (low bandwidth). You have to login everytime you come back to the hotel.

Prima hotel voor een korte overnachting. Badkamer was wel ondermaats qua hygiëne, en het ontbijt en avondeten waren dat ook. Personeel zit veel op de telefoon, lege glazen en borden worden niet weggehaald (er worden gewoon dingen bijgezet) en je krijgt een flesopener als je een drankje besteld zodat je het zelf kan open maken. Daarnaast hangt er een grote TV met beelden van de beveiligingscamera’s uit de keuken in het eetgedeelte, niet helemaal bevorderlijk voor de sfeer.

Easy access to indomaret (beside the hotel), kfc (opposite the hotel) and grab. The staff were helpful.

The aircond in our rooms (big rooms) does not working well, it is quite hot in the rooms. We sleep without using the comforter. The aircond need to service by the technician

I had a suite, after a week in the remote villages and nature hiking im middle Java, I welcomed the comfort of a suite, a good shower, very comfortable bed and space. The food was good, the view of the terrace was unbeatable. The people working there were very friendly and helpfull.

If I have to mention one things its the noise of the traffic, the windows were thin glass, but thats the only thing I can think of, I will not hesitate to stay there for a second time when I am in Surabaya.

We chose this hotel because it was in the right position for us to catch a bus to Malang. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was convenient and satisfactory…great view. The room was quiet. We loved the roll on the bed, with the pillow.

The WIFI was constantly buffering and dropping out. Not great if you have to organise travel. No water was provided. Room service food arrived lukewarm. Extra towels are always good. No fridge available to keep things cool.

The staff stated if I wanted a smoking or non smoking only to tell me that they only have smoking rooms left. Dont think their English was the greatest as she initially said there was a non smoking room available if I wanted it. Staff stated I did not request a non smoking room; well there wasnt that option when I booked. She tried to salvage with an air-fresher but the entire room was already soaked with cigarette smoke from previous stays.

Convenient location in the city. Price is reasonable. The restaurant is convenient. Customer service was ok. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Hotel is not in a walkable area. Service seems a bit slow.

- Bathroom was very dirty. Shower had grime all over the shower. - Water from tap and shower was brown. - Cups and mugs in room were visibly dirty. - AC unit was leaking water onto the floor. - All of the bathrooms at the backpacker hostels I've stayed at in Indonesia were cleaner than this.

The rooms are pretty old. Both the corridors and the rooms have this very intense ambient perfumes that is persistent, overall unpleasant and cannot be exchanged with fresh air since windows cannot be opened. Room equipment (bath cloths, bed sheets etc) are of poor quality and during my stay I went for breakfast at 9.30 (closing time was at 10 am) and basically all food was finished. The personnel is also inexperienced, at least for the quality one would expect given the price.

The location was good and the staff was nice

The room was dirty when we checked-in. There was hair in the bathroom and a broken glass on the floor. Breakfast was unbearable, no western options and very few asian options. No bread or fruits. The shower was broken splashing everywhere. Despite asking for non smoking room the smell of cigarettes was everywhere from the corridors and inside the room. Terrible decision to stay there.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. It was really easy to extend for another night. The breakfast is also good, a mix of Indonesian and Western food.

My room wasn‘t that clean. The bedsheets had stains on them and were a bit damp and there was hair on the floor. The room also had kind of a weird smell. The location is right next to a big street with lots of traffic. My window was towards that street so it was quite noisy at night. The rooms just don‘t really live up to the pictures on here I think.

The staff really help in solving our problems

We stay 3 nights there, but at that time we arrive n did late check in, the staff told us that the non smoking room was full n they gave us the smooking room. We can not sleep at that time n ask for moving to non smooking room at the 2nd n 3rd day.

Friendly staff, good price, wee bit far from main areas, but staff quite happy to phone taxis, thanks to Miss Nureal. Probably about 15 mins in taxi around 20,000 rupiah to Tunjungan Plaza, so not too bad. Rooms a decent enough size, So all in all not too bad.

My first nite there i cant sleep because its very noisy. There is motor cycle club gathering in the road next to the property and the sound of they exhaust are very noisy all night Perhaps the room could be improve with sound proofing
