We liked the amazing sea view, the property was very clean and everything was to a high standard.

The chairs on the balcony have seen better days.

La vista e bellissima. È presente un piccola terrazza con un tavolino dove è molto piacevole stare con una vista spettacolare sulla baia. L'appartamento ha zona giorno e notte ben separate. La cucina è ben attrezzata

Per la presenza di moquette e tappeti sulla moquette, non è particolarmente adatto a chi ha problemi con acari e polvere, cosa comunque molto frequente nel U.K. Essendo una zona residenziale, pur centrale, non ci sono esercizi commerciali nelle immediate vicinanze.

Parking is a bit tricky sometimes but we managed.

Location, main bedroom was very comfy but the pull-out bed wasn’t very comfy at all. Was perfect for what we needed.

There was a sweet left on the top in the kitchen on the Cleaner as I presume

Prachtig uitzicht over de baai doordat het appartement hoog gelegen is. Op wandelafstand van winkels, restaurants en de jachthaven.

Parkeren kan niet altijd in de straat. Het parkeerterrein waar je kunt parkeren wanneer er in de straat geen plaats is ligt hemelsbreed niet ver weg, maar je moet via een flinke trap omlaag. Jammer dat er geen ligbedden of zonnestoelen beschikbaar waren op het terras van het appartement (nummer 8).

A place that leaves you speechless. I found a place I highly recommend for all ages up to their 70s, I wouldn't take my granny because the walk to the beach and town, even though they are quite close, there are lots of steps to get back up the Astor House in the cliff. Again, though... it is so worth it! Amazing beautiful views !!! I would also say spectacular. Very clean, comfy, fully equipped, quiet, and with a beautiful garden area offering amazing views of the sea from above. I can't say enough good things about the incredible view that Astor House offers from almost anywhere in the outdoor area. I'm really happy with.

I felt a little sad I didn't get any response from the admin about if there was a storage place for my luggage after checking out. But I continue with my 100 ✨ excellent stars for the place anyway... Not complaining, just wondering....

Apartment was amazing, hard work going up all the stairs but the view was worth it. Even had tea, coffee, milk, biscuits which was a godsend after a 5 hour car journey.

Lack of parking, and the town centre is a bit run down but nothing we didn't like about the apartment. Apartment was amazing.

It was a lovely furnished apartment in a great location.

Parking was a bit hit and miss so had some long walks back. The steep slopes and steps certainly kept me and my dog active

Pihan kautta keskustaan ja rannalle pääsi hauskaa näköalareittiä pitkin.

Olisimme toivoneet, että varaamamme vauvan sänky olisi ollut käyttövalmiina, kun saavuimme. Nyt jouduimme etsimään sitä kaikkialta, ennen kuin löysimme sen kaapista ylähyllyltä paketista. Vauvan matkasänkyyn ei myöskään ole erillistä patjaa, joten alusta on melko kova.

The view was exceptional, the kitchen has everything, the bed is comfy, plenty of relaxing balcony chairs so you can choose your favourite, great floor to ceiling windows in case you need to get out of the wind but still want the view.

N/A happy with it all

Nice and easy access to the flat and gardens. All instructions are very clear. The apartment is very clean, bright and cosy. All sofas in the living room were reclining, making the stay very comfortable. The view from the living room is simply amazing. The beach is really close with all the amenities, lots of restaurants, and a walking area.

We didn't mind, but there are lots of stairs to climb from the beach back to the house. But for us it was no problem, even the kids were ok with the stairs.

Wonderful Apartment with Stunning Sea Views I had a wonderful stay at Astor House in Torquay. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The large windows were a real highlight, offering beautiful sea views that made every morning special. I didn't mind being on the top floor or having to use the stairs at all—it was absolutely worth it for the breathtaking view. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Another bonus was the lovely garden at the back of the property, which was perfect for my furry friend. From there, it was easy to enjoy pleasant walks into the town centre and along the seafront. Overall, this is a charming apartment in a fantastic location with amazing views. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Torquay.

The only downside for me was the pet fee. At £15 per night, I found it quite expensive compared with many other pet-friendly properties, which often charge a one-off fee of less than £50 for the entire stay. I would happily have extended my stay beyond one week, but the additional daily pet charge made it less affordable. Overall, this is a charming apartment in a fantastic location with amazing sea views. If the pet fee were more reasonable, I would definitely return for a longer stay in the future.

The washing machine was terrible. The operating instructions didn't make sense and we couldn't get the machine to spin at all.

Door buzzer didn’t work, and instructions for bins and that we could use the gardens would have been useful.

We were hoping to stay, but they told us that they didn't accept locals. We ended up staying at the Grand Hotel in Torquay for 7 days.

All instructions to access the apartment were sent ahead of our arrival. The apartment was very clean and exceeded our expectations , everything you need is supplied . Then the view , just fantastic. We were very lucky with the weather for March , sunny for our five day stay.

Very difficult to find the property, map links were incorrect. Toilet not flushing properly, located high up on a hill, driving to shops was necessary rather than walking. No heating Inn the bedroom. Central heating timing did not suit us

Decore was lovely and modern and good size kitchen . Small and perfectly formed if thoes little things we had problems with are sorted its a perfect tiny flat for a little break

Fridge smelt like fish sorry I bleached it twice too. Plates and cutlery wasn't cleaned properly and found dirty makeup pad on floor and radiator in bed room didn't work

The weather

I stayed in Apartment 1 and absolutely loved the view. Having a little balcony facing the ocean made this place so special and because it was south facing both the living room and balcony got so much light during the day. The wifi speed was pretty good which was a huge bonus as I had some Zoom meetings I had to attend during my stay. Huge smart TV in the living room was great for movie nights.

There were quite a few steps which was fine for me but might not be ideal for someone older or with mobility issues.

It was a lovely apartment. We both had a great time.

The only downside was our balcony. We had to use a small step to get out of a window to sit outside. Next door to us had a door . Also there were lots of stairs to get to our room , which we had to walk up a few times with all our luggage.

The apartment was Clean & easy Accessible, nearby Amenities. Seafront and cafes.Had a beautiful boat cruise to Brixham, was Amazing. The Apartment 8 facing the Seafront is just breathtaking and the night light is something one wouldn't want to Miss.Will surely come back. Can't have enough of it👌🏾

PROS - Great location - Relatively clean room - Good amenities provided included requested cot and high chair

CONS - Room clearly has damp and requires work - Most of the building smells of wet dog - Apartment 11 is on the ground floor right next to the road so you will get noise at night - Sofa bed in the living room is not fit for purpose. Mattress is clearly worn and needs replacing - Dated and old furniture - Soulless and faceless management. No consideration for the 'experience'. Clearly run by a large national corporation that likes to cut corners - Overpriced for off peak season

It’s Clean Spacious and for Self Catering we had everything we need and more than anything I like the idea of having the Bedroom Separately to the Living Room and had a Key Safe too. It was good to walk to the Beach and Shops which wasn’t far.

Apartment 14 was very spacious and clean with a lovely view of the sea. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits left for us on arrival.

We weren’t aware that the balcony wasn’t private and would have several people passing through to access the garden. This meant we had the curtains closed quite abit for privacy and more than one interruption during a peaceful morning looking at the ocean. We also unfortunately had somebody banging and shouting outside at 1am, trying to gain access to our apartment which was abit of a scare. Obviously this isn’t a fault of the hosts but it did dampen our experience somewhat and made us hesitant to unlock the doors and spend time on the balcony.

I loved the views they was beautiful, and very spacious

It was a nice apartment overall, maybe some things could of been a little cleaner, for example when I lifted the bed up to find my lipstick which rolled under their it was really bitty and dusty and could do with a hoover in the harder to see places. The hoovering of the apartment wasn’t brilliant. Also the washing machine .. I tried to use it to wash some of the kids clothes but could not work it out at all as the programmes was all letters but the manual I found didn’t tell you what the letters stood for so struggled with that for quite some time. Overall it was a pleasant stay just some little things above that could have been improved.

The whole property is ok and good.

No proper parking area which we are worried to go out by car just in case we can’t get parking in near the property.

We all loved everything about it . It was clean tidy . The view was beautiful.

The only 1 small thing I would say is that it needs a television in adults bedroom especially if you children sleeping on sofa bed. We couldn’t watch television. Other than that we would definitely stay again 100%.

The location is very good! The bed is comfortable. Thanks for the full kitchen, making things so easy.

My partner said the bedroom is too warm . I am fine

The Apartment was very clean, easy to check in, the host had left some lovely extras for the dog and us, which was lovely . We were close to the prom But it was quiet.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows were thin and lumpy, in the grand scheme not a massive issue , but just could have been better . The apartment also got very hot as the windows did not open much. A fan was left though .

Not very clean to be honest. For the money we spent I’d expect it to be spotless ? But very dusty, dirty toilet and just generally not the cleanest. Plus washing machine wouldn’t work ?
